Coleen and her wonderful team have provided extraordinary care of our dad for the past year! Everyone strives to provide the best home for Dad as his physical and mental health continue to decline. Coleen has spearheaded efforts to provide Dad medical care and communication with family - to address multiple health issues including adjustments to medications to enhance his overall well-being. Every time we visit Sunflower Hill we are so impressed with the cheerful, encouraging, gentle attention to each resident. The home-cooked meals, supervision, and cleanliness contribute greatly to the fine care provided day and night. (We have witnessed the time Coleen devotes to detailed training, supervision, and expectations of her team). We are truly grateful to you all. Thank you, Bernie

Coleen and her staff were wonderful caregivers to my mom. They truly care about their residents. The home was always spotless and smelled nice! And home-cooked meals too. I am a private RN healthcare consultant and advocate who worked with a resident at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living. Coleen is a caring and diligent owner who goes above and beyond to make sure that the residents are well cared for. During my visits to the facility, the staff were engaging and polite, the home was clean, the meals looked wonderful, and the resident I was helping was always smiling.

My grandmother received excellent care from the caregivers at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living! I chose this assisted living because I loved it’s country home atmosphere with an open concept living room and dining room where residents are able to watch the staff prepare homemade meals & enjoy eating together at the kitchen table. The sunroom offers private space for family to visit and the large front porch is a nice place to sit when the weather is nice.This small residential facility is the home of 8 residents in which each person receives personalized care and a lot of love and attention. The staff is amazing. The communication was consistent and if I had a question, concern, or suggestion, it was always addressed immediately. They truly treat the residents as family members. I will be forever thankful that my grandmother was able to remain in the facility until her passing.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Coleen and Sunflower. I’m a granddaughter, taking care of my grandmother & Coleen and all the staff have made the transition from home to assisted living so easy. My memaw has been with Sunflower assisted living for about 9 months now and it’s been the best & easiest place to be. Find you an assisted living where the owner stays late just to make sure your family member is taken care of when coming back from the hospital at 9pm at night and Coleen made a special trip to chic-fil-a to get her, her favorite dinner because they missed her that much. Hands down the best in Carroll county!! Run, and call now. I hope you’re as lucky as we were to have an opening.

We are all so extremely grateful and completely charmed by the extraordinary devotion, expertise, and loving kindness that you have bestowed on my mom, her fellow resident friends, and all of the other family members this challenging year! As a new owner, I'm sure you were so overwhelmed with all the regulations, paper work, and day to day demands . But I was so impressed and reassured that through all the growing pains, you never neglected to make my mom feel not only loved, but cherished; not only happy but joyful, and not only safe but totally secure! Thank you with all our hearts for creating iChat a magnificent home away from home for my mom and her 7 dear friends! God bless you all!
