Dementia is a long hard journey for families, and after several assisted living placements, both my parents were fortunate to live at Countryside. The staff is wonderful and well trained in compassionate care for both residents and family members. The facility is beautiful and feels like home. Staff is always out interacting with residents, providing hugs, crafts, snacks and activities, live music and dancing. Note the lack of interaction at other facilities you may visit. My dad enjoyed, hanging out by the warm fireplace and just observing. My mother enjoyed the daily visits from the children at the daycare upstairs, and especially the weekly scenic drives that end with a ice cream cone at a local restaurant. Countryside is a special place and many medical folks and others have said to me, that’s where they would want to go if needed. I agree and cannot thank the staff and administration for the compassionate care my parents and my family received. Both my parents have passed now, I feel relief that this long journey has ended for all of us. I am forever grateful for the care, community feel and many hugs we received.

There are few things in life harder than making the decision to place someone you love more than life in the hands of others. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to the entire staff at Countryside. The kindness and compassion displayed by all of you was so genuine and heartfelt. On behalf of my siblings, my father, and our entire family, we thank each and every one of you for treating our sweet mom with the utmost dignity and respect.❤❤

Great staff and volunteers. Lots of music and entertainment, as well as fun interaction with kids from the on-site daycare center. The food is delicious and families are encouraged to join their family members for meals.

My wife moved into Country Side about six weeks ago. Thankfully she had been going to Thelmas Place three days a week and was familiar with the building and some of the staff. Already she has made friends and is starting to feel more comfortable. The kind, caring staff is very professional and beyond reproach. I would recommend CSL to anyone.

My brother Erik and his wife Kristen have built a beautiful place to care for people. The dream grew out of visiting people in nursing homes as kids and dreaming of a better place where senior adults could enjoy living in a place of fun and love, a place like home. I am grateful Erik took his dream, risking all to love and care for senior adults. Three of my relatives and countless friends have enjoyed their lives more fully at Countyside living!

As a flooring contractor, I have installed flooring in most Senior Living places in Central Oregon. I can tell you that this place is by far the one place I would want my kids to put me when and if the time comes. So glad my mom is there♡

My mom started attending Thelmas Place last fall so she could have some much needed social interaction and my husband and I could have a few hours a week respite. I absolutely fell in love with the staff and the beautiful facility. When mom started needing more care than we could provide, it was an easy decision about where she was going to live. The hard part was second guessing our decision. Barb, the director at CSL, walked us thru the whole process one step at a time. Words will never convey our gratitude to Eric and Kristen Berkey for deciding to build their facility in Redmond, Oregon. I truly believe it was Gods purpose from the planning stage thru completion for CSL Redmond to be the exact place where mom can finally call it home...

Country Side Living of Redmond, along with Thelmas Place, is an absolutely fantastic facility in which to have a loved one. The entire staff is terrific, kind and caring of all the residents. My Mom simply loves it there and she has made lots of friends.

This is a beautiful facility with warm, friendly staff and filled with fun and music. I am so glad that my mother is able to live here. It is a lovely environment: clean, attractive and they have a great chef too!

I love countryside, my mother is living there. She got to be one of the first residents. It was hard saying goodbye to mother, I wont be able to see her for two months. But I have left her in wonderful hands with a wonderful staff of loving caregivers. Thank you all for being so wonderful...you are our families Angels.
