The staff here at Brookdale is always very helpful and friendly. Everyone has taken excellent care of my husband and understands his situation. The food is very good and when he's hungry they will hand out snacks and drinks. His room is always clean and he is dressed and clean. I am very grateful to have found Brookdale! The communication is excellent and I feel that my husband is well taken care of. Brookdale is a very warm and comfortable home.

My mom was placed here for a year before we made the decision to move her to another memory care facility where she is now getting much better care. For the price Brookdale charges, the care, cleanliness, communication and all-around management are VERY inferior. Upon leaving, we were promised reimbursement for missing clothing and linens - which was never paid to us. This placement was a huge disappointment on so many levels. Would not recommend to anyone. Reason for two stars is that the Activities Director was very good; otherwise I'd give it a single star.

My brother moved to Brookdale in February. The staff has been amazing to work with. The administration as well as the primary caregivers are more than kind. There are always people smiling and encouraging residents as I visit any time of the day. My brother has a very large, friendly dog and Mack has been welcomed to visit as often as possible. Thank you, Brookdale, for being there when we needed to proceed to the next level of care.

I knew the moment I walked into Brookdale Manor in Sun Prairie that I had found the right place for my husband's new home. Bill has advanced Alzheimer's and the care at the place where he had been was no longer adequate. When the Administrative staff know all the residents and often walk them down the halls, when the caregivers smile and treat the residents with respect, when the place is always clean and good smelling (partly due to the smells from the kitchen :-), you feel reassured that this is a good place. Two days after I had moved Bill into his new room, and new home, he sat next to me on a couch in the "living room" and looked at me and said "I am happy." Pretty wonderful for a man with nearly complete aphasia. And so, I am happy and more relaxed than I have been for a long time. I am SO GRATEFUL to all the staff at Brookdale Manor!

When a family begins the sad and stressful process of picking the right facility for their loved one, your thoughts are filled with questions of how the care will be. Will it be personal and will they value your family and what you share about your family? My sister did the initial footwork of looking into multiple facilities and we agreed that Brookdale Sun Prairie, WI was the best fit for our brother with memory issues. Brookdale is a smaller 15 bed facility that we immediately felt comfortable with. They took time to listen to us so they could get to know our brother as a person and more than just as a patient and took great care in personalizing our brother’s care. From the business person, to the nurse, the executive director, and the entire staff are a compliment to each other always patient and family focused. Brookdale says that they look at their residents as family, and I would have to say that I couldn’t agree more. Because of the intimacy of a smaller facility, they really have come to know our brother and all the residents at a personal level. From creative delicious food to the amazing recreation director a personalized inclusive approach is always part of the decision making process. I could go on, but I will close in saying that I would encourage anyone facing the difficult task of looking at care facilities for their loved one, I would give Brookdale Sun Prairie, WI, your first look. There really is loving professional care at all levels.

As an RN Case Manager for a local hospice agency (Madison), I can assure you, this facility is top notch. Everyone from the Executive Director, Amy Neal to facility staff providing care(s) for the residents, are friendly, kind, and compassionate people. I am at this Assisted Living Facility twice a week or more to see my patients and I enjoy being present to witness the love they all have for their residents! I highly recommend them for your loved one(s) when the time comes.

I love Brookdale! We wanted to move my mother-in-law closer to us, so Randall helped us to make the arrangements between the other nursing home and this memory care. We planned to have the necessary extra helpers, we needed during Covid due to quarantine, and the transfer went very smooth. My mother-in-laws never been happier. I love that its a smaller place and they show great care and attention. I love that my mother-in-law has her own room. I love that they have a community room, where she can do things together as a group. Staff helpers are really attentive, helpful and Loving. They all do a great job. Its a very caring and loving environment.

I have been very happy with Brookdale in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin for my mother who has Alzheimers. The director has been so helpful, and very friendly and compassionate with both my mother and myself. As you all know, this is a difficult road to be on, and the director understands that and helps make it not as hard. She is in the building full time and is very responsive if you need anything. The staff are also very good, and the resident and staff ratio is the best Ive seen. Its not only the care staff who interact with the residents, there is a fabulous activity director as well, and even the cook will sit with residents and play cards and chat with them, and the director is out and about interacting with residents too, not just in her office. The director will even help with personal cares if the other staff is busy with other residents. I toured 9 different facilities in the Madison area and this was the best by far. The staff is more interactive with the residents than I saw anywhere else. I like that their only focus is helping people with dementia, so they really know how to do it. Their price is even very good, less than some places that werent nearly as good. I am so glad we found Brookdale in Sun Prairie and I highly recommend it for anyone who has Alzheimers or other dementia.
