My wife has been at Villagio at Capriana for memory care for just over a year. During this time, it has obviously been very difficult to be separated. However, I am super pleased with the care and support she has received from all the staff, e.g., caregivers, medical technicians, food staff, activity staff. I have been especially pleased with the caregivers and their attention to my wife’s needs. I feel welcomed whenever I visit, whether it is for just a visit, a meal with my wife or a special activity/event (birthday, holiday, etc.). I have to say that when I visit my wife and watch the caregivers interact with the residents, I am very impressed with their patience and love for the residents. The meals are always tasty, and the caregivers are very willing to set up a ‘semi-private” area for my wife and I to have our meal. I have found the activities and events very helpful to my wife. I would highly recommend Villagio to anyone who is considering moving a loved one into a memory care facility.

Nice to have met Brad the manager. Many residents and caregivers were watching that afternoon we visited. A nice touch incorporated into the design are photo boxes compiled by families of the residents---to gently remind them of their happy moments in life. Gated and secure. Walking trails are beautiful and gives one chance to ambulate, get sun and interact. Thanks to my coveted Neurosurgeon advisor—who says its mandatory. The Aviary was a thoughtful touch and hearing joyful chirps was truly melodic. This facility is improving and its great to see evidence of such specialized care being given in a loving environment to patients having memory issues. Comforting to know that no one is taking advantage of someones Mother, Father or beloved family member. Sister facility is Capriana---first class facility with a dining room, crystal chandeliers and security.

Our Mom passed away there in September after a four year stay. It is horrible to watch your mother decline from Alzheimers. Villagio gave her a home for these years. Was it perfect? No. There is nothing perfect about the situation but all things considered Villagio gave us a safe, loving place for Mom to spend her last years. We will be forever grateful
