Working with Kelly to relocate my mom could not have been easier. She's incredibly warm and caring. Our family can't express enough the gratitude we feel toward everyone at this community. Our mom had always expressed her goal of never having to live in an assisted type living environment but we truly could not find reliable full time help plus the right social stimulation. Her mental and physical health started to fail and we were overwhelmed. She has been at Maple Glen for almost 6 months and tells us every day how much she feels happy there. She has a great group of friends she is with at her meals and activities and the staff genuinely cares for her. We are so happy and genuinely have a sense of relief that our mom is happy and well cared for!

Mrs. Printz is a nurse and she gave me some tips on sorting medication. She assisted me in many things and answered all my questions. She was very helpful. The knowledge and experience that she has, has helped me so much since this is all new to me.

If I could give Maple Glen six stars I would. While it was a difficult decision to finally put my husband in memory care, the staff of Maple Glen have repeatedly reaffirmed that our family made the right decision in placing him there. He can walk wherever he wants, has excellent care, enjoys his meals, and is always neat and clean when I visit. Accessibility to dental care, barber services, and on-site physical therapy are also huge pluses. Caregivers make time to talk with me and always have up-to-date status of his care. I worked in hospitals systems over ten years and had a model of care for him when we started our search. But I never expected to find any facility that operated within that model. In Maple Glen, our family not only found memory care that operates in that model of care, but exceeds it by being a caring, professional memory community. It feels like my husband is now in a comfortable home away from home. He is safe, clean, and cared for. What more can a family ask for? If looking for memory care, please do yourself and your loved one a favor and visit Maple Glen.

Had my dad here for 2.5 years, no place I would trust more with the care for my dad let alone any of my family members or friends with dementia or Alzeheimers. They treat you like family and my dad viewed his room and the whole place as his home and they never treated him as if he had vascular dementia they involved him in all that they could. He loved helping out. The facility was always clean, food was delicious and made fresh daily for every meal and snack.

As a phlebotomist for Medlab I visit many sites drawing blood from geriatric patient's as well as interactions with staff members. The communication with staff members I come in contact with is vital to proper care for patient's. Stating the importance of communication is a key factor in working as a team in addition to succeeding in my job as a phlebotomist. Thus, I would like to express my appreciation to Maple Glen and their staff. It is a joy arriving to Maple Glen observing all of the smiles on the staffs faces. The two staff members that have I've gotten the pleasurein working with, Caregiver Mimi and Nurse Saurabh, were extremely helpful and kind in helping me find the patient's I need to draw for the day. I highly recommend Maple Glen! I’m so thankful to the entire staff at Maple Glen Memory Care, who cared for my mother, Phyllis. She was happy, well cared for and truly enjoyed the staff and fun, entertaining daily activities. I visited Maple Brook as a Girl Scout Daisy leader. We hosted a cookie booth in the lobby. I witnessed only the nicest interactions between staff and families and the girls enjoyed delivering cookies to the residents. When my dad was in rehab we had to quickly find a permanent place for him to land. Kelly sent a nurse out to see him and had him approved in less than 2 days, other places took weeks to do this

[name removed] in the kitchen is the worst. Residents are being starved and abused and its being covered up. [name removed] don't care about the residents, all she care about is filling up the place and census. loveth lies on people and covers up the abuse by writing it off as s fall or just simply not knowing what actually happened to the residents. [name removed] is very unprofessional she discusses caregivers personal business with [name removed] a caregiver who rough handles the residents and mistreat them behind closed doors. [name removed] has the families fooled. he is on his phone all day and they pay him more than most of the caregivers. [name removed] is one of the worst nurses ever, she doesn't like to be called on the walkie, she has said things like "I wont respond if its not important, or if I'm on my lunch break"

We made the very hard decision to admit my mom to memory care in December 2020. This difficult decision, compounded by the pandemic, was one of the hardest choices made by our family. This involved a two-year process of preparing for this event by visiting and researching many facilities in the Chicagoland area, including the North Shore and Western suburbs. We narrowed our search to Maple Glen Memory Care in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. As a Glen Ellyn resident, the proximity of this facility to my house is extremely convenient and important. I am a 5-minute drive away from my mom and can visit her at almost any time. The decision of working toward admission at Maple Glen began by speaking with Mallory Graffagna and Kelly Belmonte in June 2020. These two women displayed overwhelming kindness and patience during each and every conversation as our family worked to explore Maple Glen and its offerings. These conversations continued throughout the summer and fall. During this time, Kelly and Mallory provided enormous support to our family. They repeatedly answered all of our questions and provided emotional support and education to us during this difficult time as my moms dementia worsened. They assisted us in preparing for my moms admission so that when we decided today was the day we were ready. When that day came, Mallory greeted our family as if we were her own. The kindness and patience of everyone in this facility never cease. Jason, who greets you, at the front desk is so kind, patient, and supportive. The nursing and support staff are so kind, helpful, and genuinely care about your loved one. Never for a moment, even during the pandemic, did I worry about my moms care and support at Maple Glen. The peace of mind knowing she is nearby and so dearly taken care of both physically and emotionally is priceless. Knowing she receives many needed services at Maple Glen that she was not receiving at home, brings peace of mind as well. These services include social work, physical therapy, daily activities, and medical management to name just a few. The beautiful surroundings, interior, and outside communal space of Maple Glen make it feel like home. Maple Glen not only takes care of your loved one but takes care of their staff as well. The daily updates provided to families during the pandemic showed kindness and concern for our loved one, as well as support for the Maple Glen staff. Knowing that Maple Glen not only cares dearly for your loved one but their staff as well, is critical. One felt the emotion and love from Mallory during each and every email every day. We did not receive just a report – we received compassion for everyones situation. The reopening of Maple Glen to visitors allows us to meet other residents and their families. Everyone is so kind. We are so thankful to have found a loving home in Maple Glen.
