As an RN that has frequented assisted living facilities for over 20 years, I had the most pleasant experience with the staff at this facility. Everyone was extremely kind, pleasant, and very thorough in helping me with a new patient that I was seeing. well, there, I also was able to observe the staff interact with the patients and every single one of the staff members were so kind with the people that they provided care for. The entire facility was spotless and they seem to really care about their patients and visitors. I have not been to a facility as accommodating as This One was in a very long time! If my interaction today showed me anything it's that I could trust this place to care for someone I loved.

The Courte at Citrus heights was a beautiful facility. The place was clean. Residents looked happy. They are full of activities and it was a welcoming environment. Hannah was my tour guide and she was amazing! So friendly and personable. She mentioned how the staff has been there a while and followed the management. I can see why because everyone was so kind, it looks that an awesome place to be. 

The staff at The Courte at Citrus Heights is amazing! They are known for being friendly, helpful, and responsive to residents' needs. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone especially the residents You can definitely count on them , The Courte also has a spark program that organizes a variety of community events to bring residents together. They often host social gatherings, such as games, music and holiday parties. They also have morning fitness movie nights, and educational workshops. It's a great way to meet your neighbors and have a fun time! Highly recommend!

The Courte at Citrus Heights is a wonderful facility. Your loved one will receive excellent care and attention. The staff is friendly and attentive to the needs of the residents and the grounds are wonderfully tended to. Hannah Pryor always has a smile on her face and she genuinely cares about the needs of the residents. They genuinely smile and laugh when she engages with them. If you are looking for a place for your elder loved to live and be cared for, where they will be safe and looked after, The Courte at Citrus Heights is the perfect place. It does cost more than some other facilities but it is worth the money.

I love everything about The Courte at Citrus Heights. Each week when I visit my friend I interact with other residents and with the highly trained and compassionate staff. It's not too big and it's very clean. There are many stimulating and enjoyable activities each month. One thing I notice is how many smiles I see when we gather at meals. As a former CNA and caregiver I know how important it is to find a quality facility. From the moment you drive onto the property, you will sense how special The Courte at Citrus Heights truly is! It was difficult for us to take mom out of the home she's been living for 42 years. Dementia was new to us. We looked at different homes but nothing felt right. My sister found The Courte at Citrus Heights. We toured the facility and was very impressed. Mom came here without being able to do anything herself. We thought this is it. The staff welcomed us with open arms. I never felt like I was bothering anyone, everyone was so helpful. Mom has greatly improved, sassy, making her own decisions and walking by herself. I feel like we moved in with family. Very grateful.

What a wonderful place! The staff is amazing: from the smiling receptionist who greets you as you enter to the enthusiast director who is approachable and kind—everyone, without exception, truly cares. The Corte is Memory Care facility and the residents have various stages of dementia. Families make the difficult decision to place their loved one where they will receive 24 hour care. It's not an easy decision, and choosing the right place can be difficult. I'm a nurse who works with dementia patients and I visit many assisted living facilities and memory care facilities throughout the week. The Corte stands out as a caring, loving community. The staff members are kind, gentle and know the residents well. They provide engaging activities throughout the day and encourage the residents to participate—or just watch if they prefer. Delicious, healthy meals are served in the dining room where residents socialize and are part of a community. They have nurses who make sure medications are given correctly and monitor each resident and keep the family and physician informed of any changes. Residents are free to walk in the hallways, sit in the shady courtyard, take a nap if they wish, or watch a movie with others. All in a safe, loving environment. When families come to visit they see their loved one happy, relaxed and peaceful. This makes the visit pleasant and relaxing for the family as well as for their loved one.

We made the difficult decision to find a place for Mom. Her dementia was getting worse and it was getting unsafe to keep her at home. The staff at Courte are amazing. They are kind, compassionate and thoughtful. Its obvious that they care about the well being of their residents. We have seen such an improvement in Mom since being there, she is medically better and socially interacting with staff and other residents. Our whole family is so happy that Mom is at the Courte and being looked after by wonderful staff.

As a hospice nurse, I go to many different facilities on a daily basis. It’s always a relief to work with one that truly cares for the residents like family. The Courte follows my recommendations to improve patient care, the facility is always so calm and clean, and the staff always work as a team especially with nurses/caregivers from outside agencies like hospice/home health. When staff at a facility like this can collaborate we are able provide whole person care! I would absolutely recommend The Courte at Citrus Heights to any of my family for an excellent option for memory care.

I can’t say enough good things about The Courte at Citrus Heights. The best part is all the wonderful, caring and compassionate people working there. The planned family events are an added bonus! The building is new and has this light and bright energy that I think makes everyone happy. The staff was always responsive to my Dad's needs and kept me up to date with everything. When I visited my Dad I would check in with a variety of staff just to see how he was doing. They all knew my Dad, his condition and it was obvious they cared so much. I've found that it is really important to have nurses and staff who truly understand what memory care means and how to change with the various diseases. It can be a challenge to offer help to someone that doesn't want it or don't think they need it. The Courte at Citrus Heights has very knowledgeable staff to meet the residents needs. I want to give special thanks to Kylie Whitaker for her knowledge and love of what she does. She has been my support up until my Dad passed. To Angela, Nadine, Vanessa, Maria, Kelly, Michelle and Melanie for taking extra good care of my Dad. To Andrea, the Executive Director, who always had an open door policy. I would 100% recommend The Courte at Citrus Heights.

Both of my parents had previously been in a facility in Auburn for years. That place was satisfactory, but after learning of and touring this facility in Citrus Heights, I immediately coordinated the move to the Courte. My parents (92yrs and 94yrs) were both happy with the move. They were on Hospice at the time but still able to function somewhat. My mother had never participated in activities before, but Kelly and Sheri at the Courte managed to keep her active. She even interacted with other residents. It was great. My brother and sister and I all agreed that this is where they belonged. The food services went above and beyond also. Since my mother was not able to wear dentures, Chef Naomi would create tasty dishes for her which she really enjoyed. Naomi even took time to chop fruit to mix in yogurts for mid-day snacks. What my siblings and I liked most about the Courte is the 24 hour on-duty LVN. These nurses do a great job notifying us whenever there is a change in status or a slip out of a chair. Kylie, the director of nursing and healthcare, does a fantastic job. She made sure any of our questions or concerns were dealt with immediately. It was reassuring to know that trained nurses were onsite at all times. All of the caregivers were extremely knowledgeable with dementia related care. They got to know us by name and eventually seemed like part of our family. Even the housekeeping staff would converse with us and interact with our parents while doing a great job keeping the place VERY clean. I was also very pleased with the management of the Courte. I was pleased with the responses I received with contract concerns. The contract was very fair and competitive with pricing considering the 24 hr. nursing staff that most facilities do not have. The only problem I see with the Courte is parking during the 2pm shift overlap. There is not a good overflow parking lot available if their lot is full. I never had to park across the street, but it got hairy a couple times. Just don't go to visit between 1:45pm and 2:30 and you should be okay. My father passed away in January and my mother passed June 2nd. My siblings and I are so happy with the services and support we received to the very last days of their lives. All the employees are well trained and professional. I recommend this facility to anyone that needs memory care.

This facility is clean and very cheerful. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and kind to all the residents, we are glad our Mom is there. Mom gets excellent 24 hour care for diabetes and dementia. She is kept active physically and socially and well entertained. The food is always good and special needs are attended to always. Family has 24 hour access. The facility has a beauty parlor and they also offer weekly field trips. We highly recommend this facility.

My aunt has been a resident at the Courte for over two years and we have seen some ups and downs in this period. At this time things are in an up mode. I will say Kashmir, that you and your staff are always available to sit down with me and discuss what ever items that I feel need to be attended to. The care staff is well aware of my aunts special needs and they are attended to as some of her situations arise. When we visit my aunt I see the the staff as they are also attending to others needs. . There is an on going activities program at the Courte and they have an outing once a week. During the Christmas season Mai, the activities director, even took it on herself to take my aunt to a concert by a group that she and my uncle had some personal ties to. A special Thank You Mai for that one. At times we need to bring up that my aunts room needs attending to and the laundry is behind schedule. The situation is taken care of right away. Overall every thing is good. In fact the entire facility is always clean and presentable. Jennys kitchen staff always prepares excellent meals and are very well presented. Kashmir. I want to say thank you to you and your entire staff for the caring manner in which you and your entire crew take care of my aunt and the entire residential Courte community. I would definitely recommend The Courte at Citrus Heights to a family that needs memory care help.

My loved one has been a resident since March 2018. It was a difficult transition, but with the knowledgeable guidance of Kashmir, the Director, and the entire staff, he settled in to become a member of the community at The Courte. He has always been treated by the staff with compassion, kindness, and patience. There are many activities available daily along with trips outside the residence. It was a difficult decision to place Mom, but a necessary one due to Alzheimers and dementia. After touring several facilities we chose The Courte based on its cleanliness, friendly staff and managements concern with Moms well being. We have not been disappointed. Several months after she moved there, she was in hospital for surgery and then released to a Skilled Nursing Facility for rehab. That place was awful, and did not treat her well. In fact, they told me she was declining and would need hospice and would not survive 6 weeks. We insisted they release her back to The Courte. There she was welcomed home and coddled and truly cared for, and has been doing well for these 9 past months, and recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her grandkids.. I truly believe this great staff saved her life when others had given up on her. They have been our angels of care.

Traveled to TX for a family funeral. my wife has early onset dementia and needed help. she had made 3 trips to the ER in 5 days due to anxiety. the executive director, marking director and staff made the decision to help place her into their facility immediately. staff brought the paperwork to the ER, helped complete it, placed my wife in the display room for the nite and moved her into respite care. after contacting several facilities, they were the ones that took the initiative. traveling from out of state and having medical problems is trouble enough. for memory care, it is virtually impossible to manage. thank you Kashmir and staff. you provided some breathing room so we could deal with a very difficult situation for everyone.
