I am really happy with the care and attention my mother receives at Highline place. I didn’t give it five stars because it is very expensive and continues to increase every year causing me concern about how long my mother can stay there. Because it’s such a good place and because she really does appreciate living there I don’t want her to have to move.

Can't say enough good things about the care that Highline Place offers to loved ones dealing with dementia - the staff is outstanding, their ongoing activities are great, the cleanliness and food are commendable. Jodi really helped us out in January when we were in a tough spot - the first memory care option we tried for our loved one had ended badly, cold weather was coming, and we were really worried about what to do. Jodi got our loved one the perfect room which keeps her calm since they can see trees, the pond and birds. Everyone is so fantastic, I'm especially grateful to Audra who greets us on our weeknight visits - she is a gem! The staff really care and are proud of what they do and it shows. Thank you for making our lives easier as we continue on this dementia journey with our loved one. You all are angels!! Thanks for treating our loved one with such respect and giving dignity to them during this time in their life, it's so appreciated.

I've been trying to write this review for over a year. I wanted to do it right after my mom passed away, but every time I sat down to write it, I realized there simply weren't words big enough to express what this community meant to us as a family. From our very first conversations, before my mom ever arrived, Traci and Jodi met our family with extraordinary compassion. They took the time to listen, they genuinely cared about what our family had been through, and they immediately made us feel that we were no longer facing everything alone. In one of the darkest moments of our lives, that kindness meant more than they will probably ever know. Although my mom was only part of their community for her final 10 days, every member of the team treated her with dignity, kindness, and respect. Just as importantly, they cared for our family. They kept us informed, shared their knowledge with honesty and compassion, helped us navigate incredibly difficult decisions, and made sure my mom was as comfortable as possible while also looking after us as we stayed by her side around the clock. One memory has stayed with me ever since. Shortly after my mom passed, one of her caregivers came out to the courtyard where my sister and I were sitting simply to check on us and make sure we were okay. I could see the tears in her eyes. In that moment, I realized they hadn't just cared for my mom... they cared about her. And they cared about us. That simple act of compassion is something I will never forget. If you are reading reviews because you are facing one of the hardest decisions your family will ever have to make, I hope this gives you some comfort. This community doesn't just provide exceptional care. They provide humanity. More than a year later, our gratitude has only grown. To Traci, Jodi, and every member of your incredible team, thank you for caring for my mom with such dignity, and for caring about our family when we needed it most. You gave my mom comfort in her final days, you gave our family peace, and we will carry your kindness with us for the rest of our lives.

Highline has lots of activities for the residents. But what I love most is the staff. They are so caring not only for the residents, but also the families!

I am so glad that I moved my husband to this facility, I only wish I had found it when my daughters and I were first looking. The staff is amazing and so caring, from Traci to Mark in maintenance. I no longer feel I have to be at the facility all the time.

I gotvall my questions answered. It was amazing to see the real life daily routines. People were friendly and had good relationships with patients.

Our family member's stay here was very short-term, she came to Highline Place on hospice. Though she did not get to participate in any of the activities or dining, we certainly observed a lot while visiting her frequently. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to care for residents and keep them engaged as if they were their own family members. The medical staff and admin team are top-notch as well. We would not hesitate to choose Highline Place again if needed. Rest assured your loved one is in excellent hands if you find yourself needing a memory care facility.
March 2026
My mom has advanced Alzheimer’s and had been living in Virginia with her husband, who sadly passed away in 2025. After his passing, I initially placed her in a memory care center in Virginia, but as her disease progressed, I felt it was important to move her closer to me in Denver. I visited several memory care communities, including Highline Place. From the moment I met Jodi in the sales office, I had such a warm and reassuring feeling about the place. Jodi is wonderful, and after meeting her and learning about the community, I knew Highline Place was where my mom should be. We moved her there in January 2026. The level of care and compassion we experienced from the very beginning was incredible. After a long travel day, we arrived at Highline Place at 8:30 pm on a Friday evening. I was amazed and so grateful that five kind staff members were waiting to welcome us. They offered my mom hot chocolate, carefully reviewed her medications with me, and immediately started thinking about her comfort. They even mentioned they planned to order a different wheelchair with a high back and reclining leg support to make her more comfortable. The next morning when I returned to visit, my mom was out in the main area napping peacefully in a recliner with cookie crumbs on her shirt, and another resident was sitting beside her holding her hand. It was such a touching moment and reassured me that she was already being cared for and included. The medical team and hospice team met with me the following Monday and were very attentive to my concerns that my mom might be on too many medications. They were open to reducing them and monitoring how she responded. She is doing much better now and is noticeably more alert. Every time I visit, my mom seems happy and engaged. I also receive daily notifications through their app about the activities she is participating in, which gives me so much peace of mind. They also have a wonderful chef who prepares meals and even offers to make recipes that are familiar and loved by the residents. The community also hosts family support meetings, which I truly appreciate. It’s comforting to connect with other families who understand what you are going through, and it really feels like a supportive community. Placing a loved one in memory care is never easy, but Highline Place has made this transition so much easier. I am incredibly grateful for the kindness, compassion, and thoughtful care they show my mom every day.

Love the staff and the personalized care they provide the residents.

My husband lived at Highline Place the last 5 months of his life. I was thankful every day for his loving, compassionate and engaging care. I feel the experienced management group and demonstrated teamwork between clinical, medical, therapy and hospice is what sets this community apart. They helped me navigate this difficult part of life for which I am forever grateful!

I was not sure how I was going to like this facility, but I have to say it was remarkable. Not only was Jodi very informativethe residents and the entire staff were absolutely lovely and very engaging. If you need a memory care place for your loved one I highly recommend looking at Highline place.

My family’s experience with assisted living/ memory care ranged from inadequate to outright neglectful at previous facilities. We were devastated and heartbroken, but then we found Highline Place, and it was such a blessing. The staff at Highline Place were a beacon of humanity. Their kindness and compassion went far beyond basic expectations; the care provided was consistently top-notch and professional. They treated my mother, who suffered from dementia, and several other health issues, with profound respect and unwavering dedication. The quality of care she received in her last chapter of life was simply incredible. Every single team member went above and beyond. We are deeply grateful for the peace of mind they gave us and for the excellent environment they created for her. I only wish we had found Highline Place sooner. If you are seeking truly trustworthy, exceptional care, look no further.

Finding the right care for a loved one with late-onset dementia became a frantic, heartbreaking, and challenging journey for our family. After watching our mother's condition accelerate and having several inconsistent and counter-productive experiences at other facilities, we arrived at Highline Place in a state of crisis. Our mom had been refused by multiple facilities following a very rough patch, and we were completely worn down. From the moment we met Traci, Jodi, and the entire staff, they didn't just offer a room; they offered immediate understanding and genuine comfort. I will never forget the moment Traci looked at me as I dropped my mother off that first afternoon and said, "Don't worry, we got this." It still brings tears to my eyes even as I write this. But those words, and the actions that followed, put our minds at ease in a way no other place had. What has happened since, in just a few short months, is nothing short of amazing”miraculous, really. Our mother transitioned from an embattled, upset, unkempt patient”who was constantly the "problem child" elsewhere”into a thriving, social, and active member of her new community. Before: We'd visit other places only to find her wearing the same clothes for a week, refusing to shower, barely eating, and quite literally trying to "escape." Now: At Highline Place, she is always happy, well-dressed, and groomed. She loves her new home. The nurses and staff embraced her boundless energy, viewing it not as a problem, but as an opportunity to engage her. They take her on walks, have her help with dinner prep, and keep her active. She has made several friends and participates fully in the activities offered. The care team, including the OTs, PTs, nurses, and doctors, reports to us on her progress regularly”a level of detailed communication we had never experienced before. The ultimate testament to the care she receives is how much she loves it there. When we take her out for a nice dinner or to get her nails done, she often lasts only a few hours before saying, "Ok, I'd like to go back now, please." Highline Place is her home. The staff is her family. After being told by neurologists and doctors and basically anyone we asked that her dementia would only progress and get worse, we can say, without a doubt, that she has not only gotten better, but she is finally thriving and living out her days in comfort, peace, and enjoyment. How they performed this magic trick we may never know. But we owe them a debt of gratitude for it. Choosing Highline Place was the best decision we made for our mother, and for our own peace of mind. We highly recommend Highline Place to any family looking for exceptional, compassionate, and transformative memory care.

After visiting more than a dozen facilities, I chose Highline Place for my husband in case he needed more care than I could provide.I made my choice more than 2 years before he was actually placed. I made several unannounced visits, participated in their support groups and listened to what other spouses had to say. This was definitely the best place for my husband for many reasons. 1. When I walked in I saw people communicating in groups, not sitting alone but actively participating in activities. 2. Watching care givers as well as support staff interact and care for residents was well above any other place I visited. 3. Watching the interactions of office personnel was amazing, Jodi and Traci knew all the residents and the residents knew them. 4.My husband was well cared for from his grooming to his special care in his eating habits. 5. The staff immediately realized that my husband needed to be kept busy, so they included him in trash pick-up, floor sweeping, and other activities that kept him busy and made him feel useful. Most times I would visit, my husband was actively involved whether in a group or with one-on-one golf, ball catching, etc. He was rarely in his room. Early on, when I entered the first thing I heard was his laughter. I hadn't heard that in years. 6. Communication was great from PT, Speech Therapy, OT, and Hospice. I always felt "up to speed" in individual care of my husband. 7. At the end of my husband's journey, Abode Hospice and the staff couldn't have been more supportive. 8.I truly believe that my husband was happier at Highline than he would have been at home. Their staff could provide the care and activity that I was not able to alone. Do your homework and visit many care centers and I believe you will come to the same conclusion that I did.

The physical therapy outpatient program is a brilliant and innovative idea, offering us a way to ease into a care community. It helped us establish trust, engage in personal connections and create familiarity.

When the time came to transition my father into memory care, I researched several facilities and chose Highline Place. The staff immediately put my dad at ease and he quickly transitioned to the surroundings and daily activities. He was content there and he never looked back. The facility provides nice natural light, a good walking loop, and confined outdoor space for the residents. The dedicated staff are special people with great patience and caring hearts! Each month, Highline offers a schedule of events and activities for residents and their families to enjoy, including holiday celebrations, happy hours and special events, ex: Oktoberfest, Luau, etc. Most events include music, which is so helpful in memory care. Additionally, Highline offers family support groups twice a month, which provide attendees a place to ask questions and share experiences in a supportive environment. The depths of dementia can be profound. Moving my dad from his overwhelming" life responsibilities, into Highline, lifted the weight from his shoulders and allowed him to relax into the final stage of his remaining time in life. Eventually, his transition to hospice care - which I had not even really considered - was done so seamlessly and offered my dad and our family great relief at the hardest of times.
January 2025
From the beginning, the entire Highline Place team accepted Mom with open arms. Even though we experienced some challenges with our original memory care provider, Highline Place chose to look at our unique situation with an open and flexible mindset. Our previous concerns were quickly addressed and dismissed. Highline Place should be commended for their approach, outlook, and overall care plan. We could not have been more happy with the love and support that Mom received, in her short time at Highline Place. From our family to yours, THANK YOU!!

Highline place is full of people who will care for your family and interact with them and make them feel like they are at home! I love all the activities they do for all the residents ! I completely recommend this place for any of your family members struggling with memory loss 🙂
January 2025
Highline Place is fantastic!! They have been working with our program and welcoming our students for many years! The staff is eager to teach and so supportive of student's learning needs. Traci has been an incredible resource for our program, sitting on our Advisory Board, attending mock interviews and even hiring several of our graduates! We value our relationship with Highlline Place and look forward to many successful years to come!

Highline Place cared for my father for almost a year. I don’t have enough great things to say about them. The entire staff truly cares for every person in their care. They are kind and compassionate and provide high quality care. If you are in need of memory care for your loved one, I highly recommend Highline Place.
May 2024
Highline Place is such an amazing memory care community! We looked at quite a few places when we made the difficult decision to place mom in memory care and Highline blew us away! The directors Traci and Jodi know all the residents personally and the caregivers and nurses have incredible skills and such hearts for caregiving. The activities keep my mom stimulated and she is always out and about in the community whenever I'm there visiting. I was so hesitant to chose a memory care facility, but I couldn't be more impressed and relieved to get to work with this amazing staff at this beautiful location. Highline helped our family so much, they really are the best.

My grandmother is placed here. This place is wonderful.. The other day we were greeted by a staff member by the name of Tamara she was very sweet and kind. putting a loved one in the care of strangers is probably one of the hardest decisions we ever made. This decision however has been great. if you are looking into the next chapter of your loved ones life I strongly recommend Highline. i

My husband was at Highline Place for three months. When his condition suddenly worsened, the staff became my heroes. From the director down, they went out of their way to accommodate every need we had. Their level of skills and caring are unmatched. I cannot recommend them enough.
August 2023
Great staff -- competent and kind. The facility is also very clean. Great activities for residents!
February 2023
It has been over a year and half that we have had our Mom at Highline Place. We had tried 3 other locations without success as Mom can be "feisty". The last place left her in bed all day in an unkempt state because she can be tough to deal with and it was easier to leave her in bed. Gratefully, Highline Place was recommended to us. The staff here have warm, compassionate hearts and it shows in how well they treat the residents. The onsite therapists have worked miracles with my mom. Any requests we have are quickly addressed. They somehow manage to get our mom up and participating in activities which we thought was not even possible after our last experience. Monthly, they send pictures of all the activities they provide the residents and in many, my mother is actually smiling and often dancing as they bring in wonderful musicians to perform. My mom is an artist and has been able to continue her work with a local artist that comes to visit her. I have so much gratitude for the onsite beautician who ensures mom's hair and nails look beautiful, and the massage therapist who treats her, and that the caregivers take the time to ensure mom is clean and well dressed. The housekeeping is wonderful; every time we visit her room is clean. Mom loves when they bring in therapy animals to pet, the old movies they show, the school kids that come and participate in activities with them. In the warmer months, she enjoys sitting on the back patio reading their daily newspaper they create specifically for the residents, the local walking group and my jaw dropped when I saw a picture of my mom actually on the tour bus they regularly schedule to take residents out to see nature and other outings. Having never dealt with a parent with dementia, it was hard to know what level of care to expect from such a place. I wish this had been the first place we had found to help care for her. If you are looking for the best memory care place in the Denver area, Highline Place is it.
November 2021
Exceptional care for my father and family. They atmosphere of caring and love for both the patients and patients family is outstanding. Mom would only have changed the share bath arrangement. My dad was treated with dignity and respect. This isn't just a job for the employees but a calling!
October 2021
They do a great job.
October 2021
Highline Place has an amazing physical therapy program! After a fall at home that broke my mom's back I needed a place that would truly do physical therapy with her to get her back on her feet. They work with her several times a week and work on her dementia as well!
October 2021
Highline Place has to be the absolute best place for your loved one to be when they can no longer live at home with you or alone. I took my husband for a ride last weekend to see the fall foliage. As we were getting in the car, he looked at the building and grounds and said I like this place. What more could you ask for along with the wonderful, kind people who work there and greet you every day.
October 2021
The staff at Highline have a level of caring and empathy that is simply exceptional. As an architect, I designed and visited numerous senior facilities and I ended up selecting Highline for my wife because the of the staff and their commitment to caring for the residents.
March 2021
We recently made the difficult decision to put our sweet mom into Memory Care. With several friends parents successfully living at Highline Place, we too decided to have our mom join this family. After a few weeks of adjustment, she is making new friends and has received the best of care from the group of committed, attentive and loving caregivers! We couldn’t be happier with Highline Place as her new home and thank everyone there for loving her like family!
August 2020
My dad and I are very happy and find great comfort in the fact that my Mom is loved and very well taken care of. The staff is amazing Jazzmine, Stephanie, Cassandra, Lisa, Linda, Daisy and Freddie are always friendly and happy to talk to my Dad and myself. They have even given my mom cute nicknames and hugs and kisses. I know that the staff really love and care about the residents and their jobs. We are really greatful to Tracy for taking the COVID-19 seriously. Tracy and the staff have done an amazing job of keeping the virus out of the facility. SO THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
August 2020
Living in Massachusetts, it was important that we find a place for mom where she would be cared for, and seen for the unique individual she is. Not only did Highline Place fill the bill, but they also helped me to establish a video call connection to mom- so I can talk to her and see her!
October 2019
I am very pleased with Highline Place I like their staff and the location which is attached to a park. After researching other facilities I was happy to find a memory care with more men to make this transition comfortable for my husband. There are lots of activities bus trips twice a week, car shows also several celebrations and support groups for all family members.
September 2019
Placing my wife in memory care was the hardest decision I ever had to make. When the facility I placed her in proved to be incompetent, I moved her to Highline Place. I am so grateful for the care she received there. The final days of her life were so difficult, and the staff at Highline Place were so great, I will be forever grateful.
September 2019
My father in law was a resident there. I am extremely impressed with this facility. The grounds are spotless, the activities are second to none. The staff are incredible the way they care for the patients. They treat them with respect and are always in tuned to their needs. I can't say enough good things about this facility. We had to move my father in law to an assisted living and I wished it was run as well as Highline Place was. My father in law made great strides in this facility with the in house therapists for physical, occupational, and speech. It is hands down the best facility in the area!
July 2019
We moved my dad into Highline when his assisted living center could no longer meet his care needs. What a breath of fresh air! I had been accustomed to regular calls to complain about his escalating needs and, of course, increase my bill along the way. Highline was able to take him right through till the very end so that he didn't have to endure more changes and they took terrific care of him. It's amazing the difference in understanding and care with the Highline staff in terms of memory disorders and the fear and confusion that accompany these diseases. Keep up the good work.
December 2018
I'm not sure words can express how pleased we have been with all of the staff (including the hospice team) at Highline Place. My dad moved there six months ago. We've had ample oppportunity to spend extended time there, and we are always so impressed with how they engage with all of the residents. They truly care about the residents. Their programming goes beyond the great things they do for the residents and extends to spouses and families. From seasonal parties to outings to workshops designed to help family whose loved one has dementia--it's a truly holistic approach to caring for these residents. The size is nice, the facilites are excellent. But the people who make it all run--the very best. Thank you, Highline, for doing what we can't--and for doing it with compassion.
August 2018
Highline is a great facility! My family and I have been very pleased with the care they’ve provided for our mother. The staff treat her with kindness and respect, and I’ve never gotten the sense that the residents were neglected. The food is good and they arrange engaging, creative activities for their residents. Families are often invited to the parties, too! Overall, we’re happy that our mom is in such a good, professional, caring facility.
August 2018
Highline Place is a great choice for my mother-in-law. The staff go above and beyond everyday, providing a safe, clean and compassionate place for her live. They truly understand Alzheimer’s and it’s disease progression. They treat my mother-in-law with respect and kindness, keeping my husband and I updated about her day. They offer many different activities for residents: my mother-in-law loves to dance’ and attend the church service that is offered weekly. I would highly recommend Highline Place to anyone seeking great care.
August 2018
My mom has lived at Highline Place for over 4 years now and I couldn't be happier with the love and care she receives...I did an extensive search of memory care facilities before choosing her "home" and Highline Place is by far the best there is!! I have peace knowing she is so well cared for and I'm very grateful for the staff there.
August 2018
My mother was a resident at Highline Place from January 2018 until her death 1 month ago. We moved there at the recommendation of a senior placement specialist and the owner of her assisted living when it became clear that the assisted living facility could not handle her advanced early onset dementia. Highline Place has been the one highlight of nearly a decade of awfulness, as my once strong, independent and vibrant mother was diagnosed with this terrible disease. I am an administrator of a national, online early onset dementia support group. I can say confidently through my own personal experience and that of many others, that places like Highline do not exist ubiquitously throughout this country. Their ability to manage behaviors of advanced dementia (including varying degrees of incontinence, anxiety and aggression) are beyond the norm of any assisted living or memory home. They re-direct and observe residents to find the safest, most effective way to interact with each resident, rather than just medicating and sedating them. The caregivers and activity coordinators here are one in a million, the nurses and therapists who run this place are some of the most caring people I have met, and the director and other administrators are just simply amazing. I am an only child and was the sole local caregiver for my mother. I work more than full time and have 2 young children -- Highline allowed me to feel comfortable and confident that my mother was in good hands while I managed the rest of my life. I cannot thank Highline enough for providing her not only the most dignity and care available during the last few months of her life, but also for providing me the support I needed to be an effective caregiver as well.
August 2018
If I had the option for 10 stars instead of 5, I would give it. I moved my precious mother from out of state to Highline Place almost a year and a half ago. Initially, I visited 8 facilities, and first moved her to a different facility. It turned out disastrous for a myriad of reasons. This meant finding a new home, so I again searched. Highline Place was the farthest distance for me to drive, yet highly recommended. Given the negative experience with a different facility, I was very reluctant to trust in the beginning. After a few months of consistently good communication, level of care, smiling faces and staff who truly care for residents as family, I was able to relax and let Highline Place do their work. My mother is very happy, and tells me often how wonderful everyone treats her. The activity director and staff are very creative and offer frequent and varied activities and bus outings. I work full time and the only way this thing called life works is to know my mom is in good hands. With Highline Place, I know she is in the best hands.

I am shocked to see some of the poor reviews for Highline! One review sounds like a disgruntled CNA! My mom has been there for 18 months and its WONDERFUL! As a caring daughter who checked out more than 8 private homes for my mother, I can tell you first-hand that Highline is the BEST! My mom has NEVER been dirty, neglected, or had a soiled depends! One person talked about "over medicating" their patients... nothing could be further from the truth! If anything, they believe that "less is more!" The food is amazing, the staff is caring and the activities are wonderful! They also host many wonderful parties for the loved one's family! i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving etc... They truly care about everyone. Highline is a FAMILY ORIENTED facility and my father and I are extremely happy with their care!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Highline Place for a loved one!!!

I highly recommend Highline Place for the attentive and compassionate care the staff consistently delivers. My mother has been a resident for 18 months, she is not isolated or alone, spends most of her day in the common area where meals and activites are shared. The robust activity schedule and special events are meaningfully planned. The facility is well maintained and clean. This is my mothers 4th residence as she has moved from other states to be near siblings. I explored multiple local options before choosing Highline Placed and have not been disappointed. The Alzhiemer's decline in our loved ones is a difficult and personal journey. Having mom there, allows me peace of mind.

I have a friend who lives at Highline Place for 1 1/2 years. The facility is well maintained. The rooms are kept clean. The staff are friendly and provide excellent care. The leadership has been approachable and supportive. Most of my interactions has been with Jodi and she is amazing! We looked at 5 other facilities in Denver area and none compared to Highline. Hands down the best facility for those who have dementia/Alzheimer's. Everyone understands the special care that is needed and is very patient & loving to the residents. Great place! Thank you to all the staff who take care of my friend. You are the best!

Another great reason to be in a home in Littleton Colorado is because they have a service in that area called Driving Miss Daisy where the elderly get taken to their appointments, sat with during the appointments, brought back home again. I'm from Canada and they have this service all over but there is only one Driving Miss Daisy in the USA and its in Littleton!!

My grandmother moved into Highline Place after being in two other memory care places. After just one week she started thriving! The care here is so wonderful and interactive. She was being engaged throughout the day instead of being put in bed after every meal. She became alive again, smiling and laughing! I can't say enough how thankful I for Highline Place and their staff!!
