We recently placed my dad at this facility and from our first contact until current day, we have been thoroughly impressed. The facility is clean, well maintained, efficiently ran, and the staff is so pleasant and takes the time to know each resident personally. My dad often relates how well he is cared for and comments how good the meals are. I personally appreciate the communication between the staff and myself regarding changes and updates. The staff goes above and beyond making it effortless to check my dad out for various day adventures. For anyone looking for a place to care for their loved one, I highly recommend The Gardens of Modesto (formerly known as Pacifica Senior Living).

Everyone at the Gardens (aka Pacifica) have been amazing. From the cost /benefit to the truly hands on care. Our loved ones have been cared for beyond our expectations. Taking the time for memory care and fostering connections isn't for the faint at heard, but the Gardens has mastered it. Time and again I have asked my loved ones in the facility about their care, about their experience, overall if they are happy. Time and again they have said yes. The facility has helped our granny weather the passing of a loved one and have always worked steadfast to do right by our family, and have become ours just in the same. Thank you.

We had to put my momma-in-law someplace that would care for her when she could no longer take care of herself. After searching different homes in the area, we decided to try Pacifica (Gardens of Modesto) based off of the meetings we had with the team there and the level of care that they could provide. Wow, were we ever wrong! We should have chosen them when they told us that they try to remember that it could be their mom or dad and they try to treat their residents as such. The staff went out of their way to make mom feel at home in memory care. Mom showed them signs of brilliance and talents that helped to create a bond between her and the staff there. We would go to visit Mom and would find her sitting in Theresa's office just chatting about life, or at least the things she remembered that made her happy. Mom was there 3 years and on March 29th, lost her battle with her horrible disease. The entire staff, including Theresa, Lindsey, Rashmika and the rest, surrounded my wife and her mom with love, care and concern and did everything in their power to provide a moment to my wife with her mother that I, personally, will never forget. The people at the Gardens of Modesto truly care and I highly recommend giving them a chance to show you how hard they will work to take care of your loved one. Even though mom is now gone, my wife and I now have a lasting friendship with those who took such excellent care of her! Thank you all so very much!

I worked here as a security officer and the staff at this Modesto facility have treated me like family from the moment I came on duty. The facility is super clean and doesn't have that odor you normally smell at a senior living facility. It is highly secure; people can't just walk in and visit, which you can feel comfortable knowing that your loved one is in good hands. The place is bright, with plenty of windows, patios, and clean bedrooms. Again, highly recommended. I hope to come back there again soon.

Pacifica Senior Living Modesto is a wonderful place especially if your love one has memory issues. One thing I love about this place that they have a beautiful, safe outside area that the residence can venture out on their own, unlike most places they are inside 24-7 and they allow pets. Most of the staff has been there for a long time and I think that speaks volumes. I would definitely recommend this community.

When you have to place a loved one it is always a difficult emotional decision. Will they be treated with respect? Will their emotional and physical needs be met? Particularly those with memory problems. I visit my husband every day and find that ALL staff are friendly toward the residents, calling them by name, ask how they are doing or if they need anything? There is a certain softness by the care givers toward the residents which gives me confidence my loved one is will taken care of. Aside from all this, I am asked if there is anything they can do for ME! They treat me like FAMILY. When I go home it is not with a heavy heart but with knowledge that under the circumstances my husband is in the best possible place at Pacifica.

I have my mother at Pacifica Modesto and truly believe she is in the best memory care in Modesto. I usually visit her once a week on Saturday and even then, the staff and caregivers always maintain the main areas neat and clean. They do bingo, sing alongs and walks in the garden with her. They take great care of her and make me feel comfortable, like part of the family. I highly recommend for those that want senior living with a home like feel for their loved one.
