The trust and relationships they build together gave me reassurance. From the very start the staff were supportive with the process of moving them in until the end. I can't say enough good things about Mission Villa Senior Living. The staff supported my uncle through palliative care and hospice, while taking the time to support our family through his dying process. The facility is beautiful with natural light bathing the corridors and rooms. The rooms and hallways were clean and fresh smelling. They had activities planned throughout the day for residents, and the staff took the time to make sure each resident felt at home. On multiple occasions, I witnessed staff going above and beyond to support the residents under their care. It truly felt like they were family showing kindness, grace and patience at every turn. If you're looking for a nice, caring place for a loved one with memory loss or end of life needs, Mission Villa Senior Living should be your first stop on the peninsula.

Recently, my mother, had to attend an emergency, scheduled doctor’s appointment. George, who drove my mother to the appointment, and Analyn, her caregiver, demonstrated the utmost professionalism and compassion throughout the entire process. From the moment they departed the facility to the conclusion of the appointment, both George and Analyn were attentive to my mother's cognitive needs, ensuring she felt comfortable and supported. George handled the transportation with remarkable care and skill, creating a smooth and stress-free experience. Analyn, on the other hand, was incredibly patient and nurturing, providing Mary with the reassurance and assistance she needed. Their teamwork and dedication were evident in every interaction. It was clear that they genuinely cared for my mother's well-being, treating her with the dignity and respect she deserves. Karen, George and the whole staff really make my 92 year old Uncle feel great in his new home there. His first day there happened to be Veteran’s Day. Despite not knowing until they picked him up for his move in, they quickly made him a part of the Veteran’s recognition event and he felt very happy! I wanted to thank the wonderful chefs at Pacifica Senior Living for putting on such a great tasting meal July 1, 2022. My son and I joined my husband Larry to celebrate The 4th of July with him, and had the best meal we could have asked for. The chicken was so juicy and tender, the salad was just perfect, the apple pie was delicious, I loved the crust, and the fresh fruit topped off the whole dinner. We cannot thank you fellows enough. You did a great job, as usual. We have never had a bad meal when we come up to celebrate. If you had ten stars, you would get ten!!!

I attended Pacifica Senior Living Mission Villa this past Friday for a Mothers day luncheon. I was there to play the harp for the members of the facility. First and foremost, I was blown away by the cleanliness of the facility. Temperature checks and sign in process were seamless as well. As soon as I pulled up, I was greeted by a staff member and shown exactly where to set up. The activities director, George, even made sure I had a place to pump, as I am a nursing mother. It was obvious to me that every staff member from the executive director to the janitorial staff had a positive relationship with every member of the facility. It felt like a family I want to be a part of! After the event, I got the pleasure of speaking with some of the residents and they all seemed happy and excited for the event. George even packed me up a lunch for the drive home (which was delicious btw). I cant wait to return and would recommend PSL Mission Villa to anyone looking for care!

This review is extremely overdue, but I wanted to make sure to give my utmost praises to this team. This will be a lengthy review as well as I have a lot to say. My dad was diagnosed with early onset dementia at 63 years old last year and also had some behavior problems, so my family and I needed a place that could provide a higher level of compassionate and empathetic care. My mom found Pacifica Senior Living Mission Villa after he had already spent time at another senior care/assisted living facility in the area. Unfortunately, this other facility did not work out due to our care needs and monetary reasons. But once we found Pacifica Senior Living Mission Villa, it was like a godsend. My dad was treated better, and the staff was more attentive and caring with him. He told us many times that he liked it better and was even happier there, and knowing that he was happier meant the world to us. Also, the staff was more helpful in making sure my mom had reliable staff on her side during an extremely tough and stressful time, he had more space to walk around, and last but not least, they did not just keep raising costs on us and actually offered a lifelock price where we'd pay the same amount for the rest of his life, no matter if his level care of care changed. I can't tell you the peace of mind it gave my family and I knowing that he was finally in good hands, and that peace of mind helped us live our own lives feeling secure, despite a very unfortunate situation. He was in their care until he passed away from natural causes, and the team at Pacifica Mission Villa was still as helpful and compassionate as ever helping us through this time. Even though my dad was not there for a long time (only about 2 months), I really can't express enough how much Pacifica Mission Villa's service and facility truly helped us out, especially as his dementia progressed more and more. They truly were a light for us during a dark time, and we will always be thankful that we found them, although we wish we found them sooner. Pacifica Senior Living Mission Villa - my family and I are eternally grateful for you, and truly, thank you for everything that you did for my dad and my family.

My sister has been and is a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Mission Villa for a few years and I am so please with the care she receives at the memory care. The team radiates a joyful and compassionate spirit for those under their care, they are truly a team.There are many community activities with music, art, exercises, which can be found on their calendar. This is planned by a very qualified Activities Director, George Stickles, who truly loves what he does...it is very evident! Before COVID I could drop by any time to visit my sister and I always saw the wonderful care that was being administered to all.Now, because of COVID I must make an appointment, but this is only done for the safety of all residents, which makes me very happy. The Executive Director, Karen Nickolai follows the compliance the CDC guidelines. I know it is a very difficult time for all, but they all rise as one, which is the strength shown at Mission Villa. Mission Villa has a solid team, their residents look really happy and cared for. I would place my mom here because I know she will be in good hands. As family members we need the security knowing they are safe especially during a pandemic. They have strict guidelines for visitors and for good reason. Love the place. Its small and cozy. Feels like a family house. The staff are friendly and caring. Its very clean and bright. It doesn't feel like a facility at all. Just like going to grandmas house. There's always a smell of fresh baked cake or cookies from the kitchen. There's a chicken coop that is well managed and a friendly cat that greets everybody when you pass the patio. The chef is very pretty. One good reason to come visit my dad.

We had to move our dad from another community very quickly. Part of this process is finding the right care, fit for our dad and commitment of their services. We were very happy that they have a team to build trust with our dad and was having him getting bathe twice a week and changing clothes several times during the week. The management is open for feedback and will work with you for any concerns. High 10 for the caregivers at this location. Place is not fancy and new like dad's previous home, however it is clean and well maintenance.
