We brought a 97 year old resident to Crescent Landing Garden Grove, who had frighteningly wandered out of her house alone from 1:30 to 3:30 a.m. the "night" before, despite 24/7 caregiving for four years. Fortunately her primary doctor signed the necessary paperwork including her 48 hour PPD the following day. She was warmly welcomed and has been cared for by many dynamic staff members. Her circadian rhythm was stabilized within days, with 8 a.m. breakfast, 12 p.m. lunch, 5 p.m. dinner then bedtime about 9-10 p.m. She is thriving, unbeknownst to her. The facility has high ceilings, wide hallways, with new white oak floors, chandeliers in the dining area, lovely grounds to walk with family, and spacious rooms, of which our preferred, freshly remodeled single room was immediately available. We are grateful, and much relieved to know she is safe in locked Memory Care. With division of labor among her extended family, we have been able to visit her essentially every day, with our queries freely answered at anytime.

Wow! We looked for a few months for a place for mom. Better than expected our first visit to see mom. We gave her 2 weeks to adjust. Mom is 84 years old and has mild Alzheimer's. She loves it and has established herself with friends and thw activities. Staff is friendly and facility is kept very clean. They had therapy dogs which were great today.

This place is amazing. They have such caring workers that understand the needs of our loved one and the loved ones family. They make you feel like family when you visit and they keep you up to date with pictures of activities and things they are doing. My mom has made friends, her quality of life is much better there, than she was when she was living with me. Before she went there-all she did was sleep and watch tv. They have a medical Dr that sees them and on call 24/7. The food is very good. They plan parties for friends and family during the year, from outdoor bbqs to Christmas dinners. Now that I am out of state-I feel comfortable leaving my mother there. She is safe, well cared for, loved, has friends, busy with arts and crafts or cooking or planting things- and not in pain…dementia really stinks-it is a cruel disease for everyone involved-but Crescent landing gives them a purpose and a better quality of life than sitting around asking the same questions and watching tv. Thank you so much Crescent landing of Garden Grove-I trusted my mother with you and you are doing fantastic!

What a cute place tucked in between Garden Grove and Cypress! Very modern, bright, great interior design, clean and beautiful landscape! It's such a great location and neighborhood. It's a must-see! Denise ED Director, Jessica Resident Care Coordinator, Alex Sales Marketing Director, Krystal Receptionist, and staff are truly amazing!! The energy and vibe are great and very welcoming! We did an in-service, and we got a chance to get to know the caregivers and dining team. Some shared their stories, and they said they really enjoyed what they do to care for the families' loved ones here. Thank you for allowing us to be one of your preferred providers for home health. We look forward to caring more for your residents. 🙂

My singing partner and I have been performing at Crescent Landing for over 11 years. And throughout the years we have seen the good care given to the residents through engaging them in activities. I must give kudos to the activities director Betsy Alamares as she is always kind, thoughtful and truly engaging with the residents. We always look forward to seeing the happy faces and tapping toes on those who participate. It's a wonderful sight to see!

The staff at this community is very caring and involved with their residents. Every time I come in I am always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. This facility is kept clean and maintained and has a lot of outdoor space.

We have been searching for a great place for our dad to call home for the past few months. We toured many places and fell in love with Crescent Landing! Jonathan is the Marketing Director there, and he is amazing! He made the transitions very easy, seamless and gave us peace of mind that our dad will be very well taken care of. The care and the attention to details not only from Jonathan but all of the staff there are on point!! We can't thank you your staff enough for taking great care of our dad. He hasn't looked this good in years! We highly recommend Crescent Landing for any and all memory care patients!!

I am very impressed with Cresent Landing memory care in Garden Grove . My sister and I both fell in love with this facility immediately and knew it was the place we wanted to put our mom. On our tour with Jonathan, who was wonderful , caring and worked with us throughout the process with great care ,we saw the excellent care the residents were receiving. They treat my mom and all the residents with dignity, kindness, patience and truly care about everyone . Its a very clean facility with nice size rooms and large windows . My mom loves looking out her window into the garden , which relaxes her… The garden and grounds are really nice and well kept . I love taking my mom out and sitting with her and walking her around the grounds. Its very peaceful and pleasant environment. My mom loves the food too which is a bonus. Everyone we have had contact with (caregivers, housekeeping, med- techs , maintenance, front office staff , marketing and whole team ) have been friendly , helpful and professional. It's very hard when you can no longer care for your parent and have to find a place that you will feel is safe for them but I can honestly say that I feel good when I leave , knowing my mom is in very good hands .

I can not say enough good things about Crescent Landing Garden Grove! It's absolutely the very best place for my dad. It's clean, airy, spacious, and bright. The grounds are beautiful with shade and benches, a fountain, and a gazebo. The roses, plants, trees, and grass always look beautiful. It's on one floor and the layout is very simple and easy to navigate. Holidays and other special days and seasons are celebrated with fun programs, food, and entertainment for both the residents and the family. The most wonderful thing about CL Garden Grove is the staff. They are so caring, so supportive, and very professional! They take such great care of my dad; he's always clean, dressed nicely, and his room is always clean. They let us decorate his room and they have these lovely memory boxes too. The premises are maintained wonderfully for safety and cleanliness. The staff really know and understand about what my dad needs and what's best for him too. When I can't be there for my dad, I have a huge piece of mind that he is safe and in very good hands here because the staff are so excellent in their caring and knowledge. The communication is with the staff is easy and transparent. I moved my dad from a different memory care that was horrible and it's like night and day. I know the difference! I know what to look for and I can tell you that hands down Crescent Landing Garden Grove is a blessing for my dad and our family! D. Brown

Mom has been at Crescent Landing for over a year now and really seems to be very happy there. She been a resident at other assistant living communities but Crescent Landing definitely is the best of all of them. I’ve been very satisfied with the staff and their professionalism. My mother was a resident of Crescent Landing for nine months before cancer took her. The staff treated her well and called her “mama” or “gramma” which was very endearing and comforting to her. Any concerns I had were well addressed and responded to by staff immediately. Staff was easy to connect with, all the way from receptionist, to med tech, to CEO. Very welcoming staff and treated us with the utmost respect as well as my mother. Thank you Crescent Landing!

Our mother recently passed away, and while it was difficult watching her decline, we feel very fortunate that she was living at Crescent Landing at Garden Grove Memory Care (formerly Valley View Gardens). Jesus, Jonathan, and the staff were both caring and attentive to our mother during the 3.5+ years that she lived there. They treated her like family, which was comforting for us to see. During the pandemic, the staff worked tirelessly to keep the residents healthy, safe, and engaged with activities. They were also good about keeping our family updated when we were unable to visit regularly. Our mother was in hospice care during the last year of her life. The staff at Crescent Landing at Garden Grove worked collaboratively with our mother's hospice case manager, which enhanced her overall care. In addition, the case manager often commented on how well our mother and the other residents looked when she visited the facility. Thank you for all the love and care our mother received!

I am very pleased with the care that my loved one received at Valley View Gardens. They specialize in memory care with activities and communication that the staff use to help resident participation.The team is constantly trying to improve services. My family was challenging and it has a lot to do with being aware of how to interact with the needs of a person with dementia, sometimes they did not understand but luckily valley view stepped in and helped us all figure out what was best. great outdoor space for patients. mom walks around and around all day but the place is secure perfect for her dementia. mom has a lot of anxiety and she picks the plants and walks and walks. this place care about families too always with activities. We are glad mom is safe and at this facility.

I have my dad living here and this place gives all the attention to your loved ones. They can attend to your loved ones who have Dementia-Alzheimers. The staff is highly trained. They have activities every day. They do puzzles, singing, they have outside entertainment to come in and entertain the residents. The food is very good made my a highly qualified chef who makes all the food on the premises. If your loved one has any allergies to any foods, just let the staff and med techs know and they will make sure they do not get those foods. Its a clean place to have your loved one at and its secure so your loved one cannot get out of the facility.If your looking for a highly qualified place to have your loved one live at who has needs or help with daily living give them a call. You will get a tour of the facility by one of the staff members.

Ive been thinking about placing my dad in a facility because home care is very expensive and soon his funds will be depleted. I looked at a few places and one was ValleyView. My family really liked the community. The staff was kind and welcoming and we saw so many activities. There is a secured walking path and this place is perfect for dementia care. My family is still working out a home sale and valley view works with a place that can help us bridge the gap with a loan. Ultimately, we may have my sister quit her job and move in with dad, but if we need a place, we will select this one for sure

Before his passing, my father in law was there for a month and half. During that time, the staff was very kind to him. They always kept us informed of everything that was going on with him.They made sure that he was kept active. The office staff was very helpful in helping us deal with the long term insurance. Then, everyone was very caring when he was placed on hospice. The place is nice and clean.

Our father adjusted so well to the home and staff at Valley View Gardens, this is always a concern when you have to move a loved one with dementia. The staff is kind and attentive to his needs as well as always being there to answer our questions. Dad really enjoys the meals there, kudos to the chef!
