I recently visited Ring House in Rockville, MD, after compiling a list of everything I hoped for in a 55+ community. Ring House didn’t just meet those expectations, it surpassed them. From the warm welcome by Yarden Cohen to the vibrant, beautifully designed spaces, every detail made me feel at home. The sense of community, endless activities, and on-site medical care gave me confidence that this is the place I’ve been searching for.

Toni was absolutely amazing. She was thoughtful, patient and understanding with my mom. We visited Ring House three times and each visit, Toni knew all of the residents that we encountered and you could tell that she truly cares about all of them. The facility and all the activities seem wonderful and my mom is looking forward to her move.

I do not have the words to express how amazingly wonderful everything has been for my Mom in her introduction to and move to Ring House. The staff are extraordinarily welcoming, knowledgeable, reliable, responsive, and kind. The activities and food are top notch. The residents and staff have created a real and supportive community. I'd give Ring House ten stars if I could.

I've been helping a friend transition from a regular apartment to Ring House, and everyone there has been so helpful and friendly. Toni McCarthy was really flexible and gracious during our tour, and Amani Huq put in a lot of time and effort to guide us through the subsidy application (a pretty daunting process by nature, but she is clearly super-smart and we so much appreciate her help). Darzae Owens coordinates the moving and settling-in process, which is coming up, and has been kind and informative so far. My friend put off this transition for a long time, but her experiences so far have put her at ease and actually made her excited about this new chapter.

Outstanding visit. The entire community is a sharing friendly place. Our guide and and the administrator showed a strong knowledge of assisted living communities far beyond their own personal experience.

My wife and I had an pre-scheduled visit to the Ring House last summer and toured the facilities under the guide provided by one of the Rine House agents.. It was impressive by the good facilities and the friendly attitude of the well-trained staff.

As with almost anything - you get out of it what you put into it. However, let me say that Ring House has been incredible in the breadth and depth of activities, trips and in-house activities for independent living for seniors. My mom has been there for 7 years and has made friends with both residents and staff. There is art, music, drama performances as well as restaurant, museum and store trips. The maintenance staff is on top of the facilities. Possible downside? Sometimes the lack of meal diversity gets some complaints but benefits - including an on-site health and wellness facility far outweigh the negatives.

Ring house is a very nice place to live. There is a large variety of activities offered throughout the day and the residents are very friendly and welcoming. Also, the staff works hard to please everyone. It is a very relaxing and comfortable place to live.

I brought a client there on a Saturday, and Marsha fit us in with only a few hours notice, through tour and information. Unfortunately there was a 2 month wait list, then when she reached out again with an opening a week or so later, the client had already gotten her dad a place Carriage House

The facility is well run, clean, and provides good programming. However, the food is abysmal and despite communication with senior leaders who say they are making changes, nothing happens. My mother cannot bring herself to eat the food at dinner and wakes up at 2am hungry and makes her way to the kitchen for a bowl of cereal.

Vica Kleiner, Activies Coordinator at Ring House had learned that I needed help with my Cubigo activies. She contacted me, not only though one medium but mutiple voicmail, and by two emails. It was cleared that she was willing to instructed me more with cubigo. She then alicated an hour on her weekend time to go through the steps that I needed to use Cubigo and and identify the daily activities of Ring House. Their personal strengths are identified and fostered. Their personal challenges are attended to with genuine concern and follow-up. The programming, which is diverse and responsive to the interests of the residents, is unparalleled in other senior living facilities. Because of the Ring House staff and community, I believe that my father is no longer 97 years old, but acts like he is 97 years young and having a grand time!

My parents resided at the Ring House for 9 years. This was the best move for them. Living at the Ring House was like living on a Cruise Ship. 2 meals per day served to you in a proper dining room. The staff became like family. The daily activities and social life was amazing. I was a very frequent visitor and the staff treated me like their family as well. Living at the Ring House gave my parents a wonderful place to live and certainly prolonged their life. Our family is forever grateful for the love and care the staff provided.

My widowed elderly mother has lived here for 2 years, most recently during the pandemic. Trust me, this is where you want your elderly family members to live out their lives. The apartments are lovely, the staff are incredible, there are loads of activities and they really care about the residents. They have been delivering meals to every resident twice a day with an afternoon snack as well which might be the only social contact of the day for many during the pandemic shutdown. They helped every resident to obtain essential sundries and they have delivered an unending stream of packages and groceries to residents. They made some very hard and tough decisions during the pandemic but they have kept residents safe and as buoyed in spirit as possible. Whenever problems have surfaced the staff are always so generous and kind. The onsite Hirsh medical clinic has been fantastic, the mobile dentist van is great, the availability and scheduling of aides and a nurse through Smithlife has been immensely helpful. I just don't have to worry and that means even more these days.

This is the first time that that I write any review good or bad in a public media, but this time it is different. We are facing pandemic that our generation never face before and we don’t know how to deal with it. As a senior citizen my priority goal is to be SAFE. I am a senior citizen widower that lived by himself and I decided to relocate myself to independent living housing. I moved to the Ring House in Rockville Maryland and this is the best decision I made by myself since my wife passed away. I moved in on November 2019 just before the pandemic break out. The Ring House is a great independent facility for senior citizens that can provide me with most of my needs. What makes Ring House unique is how it runs in time of crisis, this is the real test. Due to the leadership of Deanna and her dedicated team and the rest of the personal I FEEL SAFE. THE PANDEMIC FORCED US TO MAKE MANY UNPOPULAR AND UNEASY CHANGES THAT DEFINITELY MAKE OUR LIFE MORE DIFFICULT, BUT IT IS BETTER TO LOOSE SOMEONE TIME IN LIFE THAN TO LOOSE LIFE IN SHORT TIME. The changes were made with a lot of thoughts caring and humility, and Ring House so far was spared from what is happening in the rest of other senior citizens facilities. I recommend this place to any one without any hesitation.

I've been coming here recently for the cafe lunch time specials. It's usually a meat or chicken dish with two side vegetables for five dollars. Cafe is open from 11:30 until 2:00 during the week. There's also a standard menu aside from the daily special with offerings such as sandwiches, salads, and hot dogs.

They made a great home for my father who moved there in March, 2016. He is very happy. The facilities are ambient. The activities are versatile and well thought out. The food is very good, consistently. The staff members are very kind. Overall, an excellent facility.
