This is a Profit over care facility. Not enough staff for the amount of residents. The food quality has dropped drastically, items we use to have are no longer available. The food is often cold or over cooked. The overall feeling and morale of the building has dropped. The staff is treated horrendously, gossip and finger pointing almost daily. Too many changes has been made in the office and the new people aren't any better.

What a wonderful place, I can sleep at night knowing that my 86 yr old Mom is at Ashwood Manor. Most importantly my Mom is happy. Mom enjoys the meals, activities and property, but above all the staff. Wilma is amazing, so helpful and accommodating . Helen the RN insures all of Moms needs are taken care of, meds on time, daily BP, and a good ear, she cares. Nicole does so much for the residents, daily activities, entertainment, even manicures . There are too many to mention, from the PSWs to the dining room staff. Mom has been there 16 months now, no complaints .

My dad spent only one year and four months here. I highly recommend Ashwood Manor. It was perfect for him. He needed help and it was provided with dignity. Its a smaller facility so the staff really get to know the residents. They always knew where my dad was, not because they had a tracking system but because it is small and they knew his routines. When his room was cleaned once per week they suggested he sit by the gas fireplace and showed him how to turn it on. He loved this and it became part of his routine. He was checked on constantly, not just because it was necessary, but also because they knew him and its a smaller facility, so they were able to keep an eye on him. The management is top notch. Things are fixed in a timely manner. The staff communicated with me (his POA) appropriately. He enjoyed the food. We ate lunch there frequently and he enjoyed this. Cheap lunch and supper prices for guests. Everything is included. If he wanted to watch a football game in his room, staff would bring his supper to his room. No extra charge. The PSWs convinced him to bathe in the whirlpool tub once per week. He was shy so I dont know how they did it but they did. Knowledgeable staff! Great nursing care! They referred him to appropriate OT, PT and nursing community resources. So grateful for this care during his last days.

Just a short note on behalf of our mother and family to thank everyone at Ashwood Manor for the excellent care and living conditions she is experiencing at this wonderful facility. Mom's health and mood have improved significantly since her arrival in early August, and we are very grateful for her good fortune to be living at Ashwood. Special thanks to Wilma, Debra and all the staff for your kindness and attention to detail - we truly appreciate it!

Coming up to 1 year for the father-in-law to be living at Ashwood. Within a week of moving in, every staff member called him by his first name. This is indicative of the kind of care exhibited daily at Ashwood. Each time we interact with staff, we have nothing but supportive, friendly and helpful attitudes from each of them. This is from kitchen staff to nursing to administration, first rate. This contributes to a great culture and atmosphere for those senior years to live in comfort and safety.

While moms stay at Ashwood Manor was brief she enjoyed it immensely. Staff were very compassionate, helpful and attentive to her needs. They made her feel very welcome in her new home. Her room was bright, spacious and daily housekeeping was much appreciated. Mom said meals were very good and more than she could eat at times. I would pop in at different times and staff was always friendly, the facility was always neat and clean. The grounds are beautiful with several outdoor areas for residents to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.

This is the original Cathy Dickens. I have worked at Ashwood Manor for 15 years. It was the best place I have ever worked. I have never seen such kind and caring staff that would accommodate any resident for any need. I recommended Ashwood Manor for my father-in-law but he recently passed away.

We have seen a significant change for the better in Mom since she moved into Ashwood. This is the most talkative, engaged, and active Ive seen her in many, many years. The staff are awesome - I dont know how to thank them enough. Mom has only good things to say about all the staff as well. The building is well maintained and clean every time we visit, the residents appear happy no matter what time of day it is, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Mom describes her time as feeling very spoiled and thats a great thing. Thank you so much for giving her the life and care she deserves.
