My mother was a resident at Verena at Bedford Falls for four years and then just recently had to move to assisted living. The apartments at Verena are beautiful- large and very up to date. Verena is very clean and well maintained. There are many, many great activities to choose from. You can be busy every day if you so choose! What always makes a place is the staff and a shout out to Alison, Mary and the wonderful Karen. These staff members are so helpful and kind. A special compliment to Nikki in housekeeping and Pam who are amazing and a wonderful asset to the community. If you are looking for an Independent Living Community in the North Raleigh area, go visit Verena!

My mom lives there. Well maintained and very nicely laid out apartments, and a nice gym and pool. That said, the food choices are very limited and not that tasty. It makes the daily living there a bit of bummer. Good tasting food is very important element for a senior living community but I believe they are working on it.

My mom was a resident there and had a wonderful experience. Everyone ( staff and residents) are so kind and caring. Her health was declining and so many people reached out to make sure she was doing ok. Our family is so grateful to the entire staff and all her fellow residents. Those extra hugs, kind words and fellowship meant the world to her and her family.

My Father was at Verena for almost 2 years before we had to relocate out of North Carolina. In those 2 years, I found Verena to be a very comfortable and caring place for my Father to call home. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. It is also in a very safe and peaceful area. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL and truly care about the resident's needs. Overall, I can't say enough positive comments about Verena and also can't imagine my Father living anywhere else while in the Raleigh area.

Hello!! I love it at Verena Bedford Falls and just signed another 1-year lease. The food is exceptional. The entire community is lovely with a duck pond and lots of greenery surrounded by woods. Gardens plots are offered per apartment to plant whatever you want. Allison Donnally is excellent on any sales question and touring. Come visit!!

My mom has lived at the Verena for 2 years. She loves the social activities, gatherings, scheduled events. What is preventing me from rating higher is the food. The residence are offered only two meals a day and the food is sub-par at best. There is never enough of the choices offered, so those that want to eat after 5pm run the risk of everything being out. The food is sometimes so over cooked it is burnt or and have even been served food that is raw on the inside. Some of the food is made with very cheap bargain brand substitutes of the real food. The residences pay enough in rent to have the (2) meals they are offered be pleasant! The Verena needs to put better efforts here!

I truly loved my exploration of this complex. Met many of the staff who were professional, friendly and welcoming. Alison is absolutely the best to work with. Had lunch and the food was delicious. If you’re looking for a senior community, check out Verena!

Great independent living for those in their twilight years. Verena offers one and two bedroom apartments and other amenities such as dining room, fitness center and swimming pool. Verena is well staffed and cares for their residents.

Verena is a wonderful place for my Mom. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond what is required. It gives me such peace of mind knowing they are there to help if I cannot be available. She is able to get a ride to the grocery store and medical appts. The activities help her socialize and experience new areas of Raleigh that she would not do on her own. We feel extremely blessed to have found this community!

I love this place. I lasted one year in another place that was just subpar. Moving is extremely expensive. I did it anyway and have no regrets. I love it here...food is excellent, We have a pond with geese that chase me, so I get exercise. It is so much higher class than where I was. Take a tour!! Allison Delaney (Sales Dir.) is great. Maintenance is friendly and professional and quick to fix whatever we ask. Wonderful staff, employees. Housekeeping does a great job and always with a smile. Food is great 99% of the time. You can't beat that any other place. Love the different music groups. Love the activity leaders. I love it here.

hard to keep up with the different times the dining room is open as well as getting too much food . Yes, we could take to our apt. but we usually don't eat it again. Eating what is served is like going out to a restaurant every day and eating. It is delicious food and I hate to throw left-overs away. Activity staff is worked very hard taking us to out appointments and providing many opportunities for exercise and memory games to help our memory recall. Love the staff and all the workers who take care of us. Residents are friendly. This is my home.

My mom is here and they make it really hard to get food. They serve two meals a day but you have to put your name on a list then wait 20 or 30 minutes before they actually see you. They have nothing premade that is easy to pick up and take with you. So every meal turns into a two hour event. They don’t even have a salad bar. Can order food but then they don’t make it until after the food service is over so after 2 o’clock or after 7:30 And then you can go pick it up. They say that they’re short staff, which is why it takes so long to be seated, but then they don’t fix the problem by offering a solution.

Great place to live. Easy access to health care, shopping, parks, restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Our Social Director meets with us each week to discuss what we are interested in doing for fun, for health, and relaxation. We celebrate life at Verena.

When I needed maintenance they went overboard to provide service. When we were sick our meals were delivered cost free. The housekeeping department does an excellent job of cleaning right down to chocolates on the kitchen counter. I feel like I'm at a 5 Star resort or on a top of the line cruise ship. There is a family like atmosphere, with a few exceptions & that's life !!! I love where I live !!!

I am very much a social soul and truly enjoy being in community with many. Our apartments afford us a complete indepemdent private space. There are many levels of activities available. Staff are kind and responsive. Food is excellent ! The Bayada Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy onsight is critical for me and I feel blessed with these excellent resources.

This is such a wonderful retirement community. They have 1 and 2 bedrooms apartments and everything look amazing. They many amenities available for their residents and lots of activities planned all the time.

I received an invite to their grand opening and I must say that it's location leaves much to be desired. Huge building construction was a distraction to the entrance. I have seen better in apartments. Not much thought was given to the "active adult"..

An absolutely beautiful facility! During my visit here the staff were very cordial and happy to answer every one of my questions. Probably the cleanest most discreet facility in the area! I would recommend The Aspens to anyone looking for senior living options in the Wakefield area. Also the receptionist was amazing and very helpful (although I cannot remember her name)
