Thanks chef for resident feedback meetings but please incorporate feedback. Breakfast and lunch are great but dinner needs work, like macaroni and cheese is like glue or pizza is very hard and dry (onion rings are good). Also salad and/or vegetable with all dinners would be great. Please also consider putting a microwave in dining room so residents can warm up lukewarm soup. Soup tastes pretty good. Please company care and help make some good changes. But mom is grateful for all the chefs and staff do! She also made many nice mew friends there. Overall its a nice and relatively safe place, residents there seem happy, so many extra services are included and Dan is a nice manager. There is also a nice shuttle bus that runs weekday morning to early afternoons, which take the residents to various places in something like an eight mile zone. The driver Bill is very kind. They are doing a lot of construction right now so she said its noisy but after it's done so it looks like it will become even more beautiful with more amenities. But the rent hike is like $200 a year so some people are moving out. Also there is only one elevator and it broke down and it got fixed after a few days, its hard for residents in wheelchairs, they had to get simple meals delivered. Hopefully they will add a second elevator. Many residents don't lock their apartment doors when they go to meals, so I wish the Atrium install security cameras for residents safety, so we can see who goes in and out of rooms. I recommend the Atrium overall.

We recently toured the Holiday at the Atria and plan on moving our father in soon. Lynne was absolutely amazing in showing us around, answering our questions and making us confident in choosing the Holiday Glenville for our loved one. Lynne is so kind and such a great asset to the staff… we cant thank her enough!

We moved my mom into Holiday at the Atrium several months ago and she was very resistant to leave her home where she had lived for 50 years. All the staff at the atrium was so kind and helpful to her during this time, they truly care about the residents. It was such a good move for her, she is now so happy there. The socialization has done wonders for her mind and spirit. The apartments are spacious and bright, and she was able to bring her 2 cats with her. There are activities every day that the residents can participate in if they choose. The atrium is bright and cheerful and very welcoming. My mom says all the time how happy she is there and how much she enjoys it. I would recommend the Holiday at the Atrium to anyone.

Biggest dissapointment. i went before Thanksgiving to visit a relative. the place is filthy. the carpets in the hallways are stained and a trip Hazzard. My relative shared her lunch with me. it was barely edible. my relative and her friends are bored. There are no suitable activities. Not everyone plays bingo. There is only one elevator for both the second and third floors. so many people use mobility scooters and wheelchairs we had to wait in line for a long time. What if there was ever a fire..... Some lady at the desk named [name removed] was rude to us. g time

My brother moved into The Holiday at the Atrium in May 2023. I was impressed by the living and social areas, amenities and the helpfulness of the staff members and friendliness of the community members. I knew from my very first visit it would be a great fit for my brother. He was apprehensive about moving at first since change, even good change, can be difficult. I am delighted that he adjusted very quickly and has been enjoying many of the activities, socializing with other community members and the three meals offered each day. My sister and I keep saying it's like being on a cruise there are always so many fun things to do,... and you don't have to cook or clean! The first thing I noticed was how welcoming and spacious it is when you walk in. The atrium area is huge, and I know it's going to be especially great in the winter since it almost feels like you are outside. There are a variety of community rooms for games, crafts, library/TV room and even a chapel. These provide a great place to socialize with other community members or just a place to go for a change of scenery. The Holiday at the Atrium was just what we were looking for and it fit my brother's budget since the monthly fee includes the utilities, cable, weekly light housekeeping and meals. If you are looking for a place where you or your loved one can thrive, I encourage you to visit The Holiday at the Atrium!

Let me start by saying that I cannot express enough positive feedback for the staff and residents of Holiday Glenville - and my parents aren't even there yet! My first touchpoint was with Lynne whose warmth and professionalism is ever present. She has been so kind and informative not to mention patient and supportive of our efforts to help my aging parents move to a facility where community matters. The same goes with every member of the staff - from the management team to the housekeeping and servers. My family has been greeted with smiles and requests of any kind of assistance we might need. The facility itself is great! You are immediately immersed in an atrium flooded with natural light, where meals are professionally served. The apartments are ample and comfortable - and I especially love that so many residents keep their doors open, punctuating the inclusive community throughout. Finally, I can't imagine another facility that packs as much value as the Holiday Glenville does - it's worth every penny. If you have aging relatives or maybe even find yourself in need of a caring, safe and nurturing place to spend your golden years - you can't do much better than the Holiday Glenville!

Brightly lit, lots of laughter and plenty of activities for residents. Each apartment has its own balcony for chairs, a table, and plants where you can sit and engage with everyone who passes by. I am so happy that I chose Holiday at the Atrium for my Mom!

I was there helping my grandmother move in. She seems happy there, she kept her autonomy, improved her social connections, and unburndoned her life. Everyone seemed very nice.

I have only been at Holiday at the Atrium for a couple of months, but I have been very happy with the facility, the staff and the residents. Whenever I have a question, one or another of the staff is quick to respond. Entertainment of one sort or another is provided on a regular basis. Many of the residents set up games that they enjoy and suggest others join them. The meals are most enjoyable - the only problem is I think I'm gaining weight that I don't need. That's my fault, not theirs. I have seen a few emergency situations while here. The emergency fire company is very close and takes charge more quickly than I could believe. I feel that's very important when housing senior residents. Holiday also uses local school programs for entertainment. That provides a public venue in which the students can perform for others than fellow students or parents. At that age, it is important. I am looking forward to Spring and Summer when I can walk along the river walk. Who could ask for anything more?

My brothers and I can’t say enough about the Holiday at the Atrium! We moved our mom there this past winter after having a terrible experience elsewhere. From the moment we visited, we knew this was the place for our mom. The apartments are spacious and beautiful, the Atrium itself is beautiful, bright, and welcoming. Mom quickly made friends and participates in so many of the activities, from bingo, ice cream socials, outings to lunch or shopping, Sunday worship, to the musicians who sing and play all the oldies on the weekends. She enjoys herself so much. The staff is phenomenal, always quick to help us with anything we need. The apartment is cleaned weekly, fresh linens on the bed and clean towels as well. There are times we can’t get there to visit and the staff checks in with mom to say hi and makes sure she is okay. Even the other residences check in on her. We’ve arranged for someone to do moms laundry, and to help her with some daily tasks. Honestly, the Atrium has been so wonderful. My brothers and I can finally relax knowing mom is happy, safe, and loves her ‘home’. (See picture: BINGO! She won!)
