Skyline has been an ideal residential choice for my sister. The staff has been exceptional, kind, professional, understanding and caring. They have successfully fostered a strong community of friendly and welcoming individuals. Skyline’s amenities are excellent, and the facility is kept in top condition. Beyond that, their food service is outstanding, and the views of Birminghan from Skyline’s mountaintop location couldn’t be better. We have been very satisfied by a residential solution that has far exceeded our expectations.

The view from here is absolutely beautiful. My brother worked here and he only ever had amazing things to say about the staff and residents.

We recently were fortunate enough to find out about Skyline Village for my brother who was needing a nice place to live as he moved to Birmingham. Three good meals a day were included so there was no need for grocery shopping or preparation which was ideal for him . Unlike regular apartment living all utilities were included in the rent . I cannot say enough good things about the director Pam Hallmark and the staff at Skyline Village… and then Beverly Maples the Marketing Director appears to be the heart of the facility. Everyone loves her ! Marketing people are known for their outgoing personalities and their salesmanship ability to attract potential clients or residents and Beverly has that quality but what makes her unique is that she truly cares for the residents and always goes " the extra mile" to see that they are are not forgotten about AFTER they move in and that is not the typical job for a marketing person! I would highly recommend Skyline Village. .

I have a loved one at this facility and I must say that if I could give them more than 5 star review I would. This facility is VERY family oriented, rest assured that your loved ones will be treated respectfully and cared for properly. The staff alone deserves a 5 stars!! Always very welcoming, the establishment is clean and provides deliciously hot meals and snacks. This staff goes above and beyond for their residents. WAY TO GO GUYS!!

The building needs to be shut down, cleaned, fumigated and heat treated. It has major bedbugs and various other pests residing there. They lie to you. We gave them five months to make things better yet it got so much worse. We left all belongings there and removed our mother. She had over 30 bites on her body the day she left. Shameful. Nightmare. Lost savings. Lost treasured items.

This place is incredible! We couldn't ask for a better staff. Bev is marvelous & highly trained. The atmosphere is beyond compare. I am so grateful to have my Father in a lovely place like this where is completely thriving at this time in his life.

They won’t tell you about their ongoing bedbug infestation. Moving in new residents without warning. We even specifically asked about pest issues and we’re told it was much better than before. Lie! It got worse over time we had to remove our mother, like a thief in the night, wearing hazmat suits and left all her belongings behind. We had to buy all new furniture and clothes. They also have a mold issue and blamed my mother’s humidifier that she was using to help her itchy skin…because of bites. She had 30+ bedbug bites on her body the day she left. Shameful!

Our mom stayed there. We couldn't have asked for a more caring staff. Miss Beverly and Ms Pam are just top notch. Have never seen a leadership team so dedicated to the residents of their facility. They are just so great. The dining staff is wonderful as well. And you can't beat that spectacular view they have of birmingham!

My sister is a resident here and absolutely loves it! It’s a beautiful facility that overlooks the city of Birmingham. It is a close community where the residents are like family. The staff works tirelessly to make sure the facility is clean and to make sure the residents are happy and taken care of. Very reasonably priced with great amenities! Skyline Village was a God-send for us!

I walked in (unannounced) to tour this senior living community in Homewood and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was when I walked in! Great lighting, atmosphere, clean, and it was nice to see some of the people who lived there mingling and welcoming me in when I got there.

I just moved in February. To me its heaven compared to other places in Bham. Theyre so helpful and dont mind at all. Only thing I see wrong i think they need more maintenance help.Its more than 1 man can do. Otherwise its wonderful‼Bham,Al out of my window at night. Found my Happy place!!!

It is an independent retirement home.They serve 3 delicious meals a day, room service , take you on shopping trips once a week. They have a doctor Paul Roller that comes here once a month. Homewood pharmacy delivers prescriptions here if you want to use them. They also will take you to see your doctors on thursdays within a 10 mile radius. They also have scheduled activities in the evenings. Church services here on Sunday and Wednesday night. Just everything you could possibly ask for. The staff is excellent and very nice and helpful. Yards are beautifully kept. Fantastic view from top of Red Mountain. Very nice and wonderful place to live. Happiest time of my life.

Skyline Village is a wonder and beautiful place to live. It has the most caring and professional staff that are always attentive to the needs of their residents. The building and facilities are always clean and beautiful with the most gorgeous views! Skyline Village is located literally one block from where the new Homewood Police Department is being built. Skyline Village is safe and well protected! I highly recommend this facility and staff to everyone!

My friend moved to Skyline four days ago from another local retirement community. She is so happy about being here. The owner, management and staff are beyond caring and friendly. The residents are upbeat and diversified. Let me not forget the healthy food offerings. Having been a resident here for one month, I can affirm that living here is top notch. We have 3 nutritious meals prepared for us, served at our tables, and cleaned up following. The apartments are cleaned up weekly, laundry facilities are provided on each floor, and transportation is provided to medical appointments or shopping needs. The staff, from top down, are available and willing to assist with any needs. My wife and I spent time in a similar facility in Virginia, and Skyline Village provides a similar environment. By attending the frequent social events, including the dining, we have made friends with all of the residents. Kudos, Skyline Village, for making us feel right at home.
