My b ame is Kathleen Sarpy and I live at Hanover Place. I moved in January 2, 2025. I chose Hanover place because they accepted my daughter who was 42..no other sr place would take her even tho I was well over 55. We have a lovely 2 b bedroom apt. It is on first floor and is beautiful. Since moving in I was c chosen to be on resident council.i love serving at affairs, I just love to help others. Im sad that Melissa no longer works here. Her arts and crafts were fantastic .we were to make tye dyed shirts and something occurred and she was no longer working here...still waiting for a good replacement for her. She was a gem. We have so many activities..I'm in book club, trivia group, family feud team, we go to restaurants and stores each week..tailgate party..Superbowl party and new years eve was phenomenal...it's so much to do that I have a hard time finishing my book of the month with all going on. If you are looking for a wonderful 55 and over home...look no further..this is it.

I love Hanover Place...! The apartments are spacious. The complex is clean. Theres so many things to do here and plenty of events. And holiday events. Calendar is full of fun things to do here. Something for everyone no matter what your interest are. I can't say enough about how nice, friendly, respectful the staff is here including Maintenace. Jasmine is the property manager and is always very friendly, kind, courteous, respectful, funny, and always willing to help you out. She's just an all-around kind person. Any issues you may have, and she will listen to you and get them resolved. I love her trivia nights they are a blast. Jenna is the assistant property mgr. Jenna also is very friendly, kind, courteous, respectful, funny and always willing to help you out if you have any issues that need to be resolved. Jenna helps with our happy hours and they're always a fun time. Melissa is our property liaison. She also is very kind, friendly, respectful, funny and will help you out with anything. Melissa is very crafty, and she is very good at it. She has a craft event twice a month and every time it something different and easy to do. The Maintenace crew Lee and John are the best. Very prompt on getting things fixed. And both are very kind. I honestly cannot say enough about the whole staff here. I love joking around with them and seeing them every day. It's a pleasure to know them all and to talk to them. They all make Hanover Place a fantastic place to live. I enjoy every day here and honestly; I have no complaints. I've been here close to a yr now. To me the whole staff is a blessing. They make my day every day. Nowadays it's hard-to-find people with their qualities in this world. Can't find a more compassionate crew. They have it all in my book.

My mother in law just signed her lease to move in and so far we’ve all been impressed with how available Jenna has been in making us feel welcome and she’s been so patient with all of the questions we’ve had. Can’t wait to get settled in!

Updated, this place has gotten worse by the year. Charge 2300 a month for pretty dated and junky apartments and don't offer anything anymore. All services and entertainment have been taken away or cut back. Including the on-site nurse.

My honest review of Hanover Place Apartments a Daughter's opinion. First, it's a very warm and inviting Community. I was pleased the first time walking in. That was three years ago. Second, Hanover is not just another Senior community. They strive to make residents and their stay here exceptional. Third, My Parents love it here. The daily activities keep them busy. The apartments and grounds are kept clean daily. Lastly, The staff is very friendly; and attentive to the residents. My parents are safe I'm pleased with that. Thank you Avia McGraw-Clinkscales

My grandmother has had such a wonderful experience living at Hanover Place Apartments in Tinley Park! The staff is great, but I have to give a special shout-out to Melissa, who is truly amazing. She is so kind, helpful, and always goes out of her way to make the residents feel cared for. My grandmother especially loves doing crafts and activities with Melissa ” she brings so much joy and creativity to the community. It's comforting to know that my grandmother is in such a vibrant and supportive place. We’re so grateful for all Melissa does!

My grandmother has been living at Hanover Place Active Adult Living for almost 10 years, and she absolutely loves it! She often talks about Melissa and how hard she works to keep everything running smoothly. One of her favorite activities is grabbing a vanilla latte from the coffee machine and sitting in the lobby by the fireplace to listen to a resident who plays the piano. She also enjoys the regular shuttle bus trips to the store, which makes life so much easier! The live entertainment is another favorite as well as the happy hour events! I highly recommend Hanover Place if you’re looking for active adult living for your parents or grandparents. Be sure to ask for Melissa”she’s kind, caring, and we’re so grateful for her presence!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hanover Place Senior Living in Tinley Park! The entire team is great”always helpful, caring, and attentive to the needs of the residents. However, Melissa truly stands out and has quickly become my favorite. She goes above and beyond what’s expected, showing a level of dedication that is remarkable. One of the highlights is the fantastic events Melissa coordinates for the seniors. My parents always have such a great time participating in the activities she plans, from fun social gatherings to engaging entertainment. Melissa's attention to detail and enthusiasm really shine through, making every event enjoyable for everyone. While the whole team is great, Melissa's personal touch and commitment make her an invaluable asset to Hanover Place. Highly recommend!

My grandmother recently moved into Hanover Place and really enjoys doing crafts with Melissa. She is always cheerful and kind to my grandma and all the staff is so helpful here. I am glad she settled in so quickly in such a nice place.

My Mom moved to Hanover Place 3 years ago after my father passed away. It was an incredibly difficult time for my Mom. She had never lived alone and the transition to apartment living was very overwhelming for her. The staff at Hanover Place made my Mom feel comfortable and safe. She quickly befriended everyone on the staff. They would help her with her deliveries, maintenance and check on her when they knew she wasn't feeling well. The staff at Hanover Place made this very difficult time for my Mom more enjoyable than I could have ever hoped for. The property is well maintained, safe and clean. They provide activities and entertainment for the tenants. My Mom especially loved the live entertainment. Unfortunately, my Mom passed away this past week. The staff has been caring and supportive. I knew my Mom made friends with the staff, but it became clear that they considered her to be family. I wanted to take the time to write this review to express my gratitude and let prospective tenants know how great this place is. Thank you Hanover Place for taking such great care of my Mom!

I loved my recent tour of Hanover Place. The young lady who booked the tour for me was very kind and was ready to help me find the perfect place for my parents, which gave me a great impression before I even stepped in the door. Even though I am at the beginning of my search and had several questions, the property manager was very helpful and able to answer just about all of them. They have many activities, a 24 hour fitness center, a theater room with weekly showings and fresh popcorn, and even a salon where my mom can get her hair done. The entrance is very welcoming, and the common spaces were full of people actively engaging and enjoying themselves. I can't wait to tour again and bring my parents with me this time! I know they will love it!

Hanover Place has a great group of residents that feels more like family. Great activities program, 24hr gym, full media room, bistro and much much more! Definitely one of a kind community for those +55 looking to be more socialization with luxury upgrade apartments! A "must see" for all those in and around Tinsley Park!

Hanover Place is very Affordable, clean and the PERFECT PLACE , when you are ready to downsize & remain an Independent Active Adult and want to Age in Place !! Friendly staff, BIG rooms , compared t0 what is out there . Id recommend to anyone !!

This active adult community is awesome. The first level is where all the action and socializing takes place. They have many choices of where to hang out and what to do. In March they are starting with live yoga classes! Staff is responsive and friendly. Other residents (and their furry friends) are welcoming! Hanover Place Senior Living is the spot to call home if you are 55+ and looking for more then apartment livening.

My parents are retired and getting ready to sell their home and move in to an active adult community. I was in the area and stopped in Hanover Place to see the property. I was blown away by how clean and warm this place was. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I saw their Worthington unit and I was very impressed by the finishes. I will be pushing my parents to Hanover Place once their house sells!

I've found Hanover Place to be a beautiful community that offers many excellent amenities, classes, and events. The apartments were recently taken over by an amazing new management team and I'm excited to see how they will make the Hanover lifestyle even better.

Forget the food in this place. They charge you $10-$11 for a dinner that is worth about $3. There are seldom nutritious meals with vegetables or fruit and most of the time the meal is inedible. They should be ashamed of marketing dinner three times a week....it is terrible.
