Beautiful facility, wonderful staff and really friendly residents. The dining room is lovely with flowers on each table and folded cloth napkins. The food is served by a wait staff just like a restaurant and you have multiple choices, plus a salad/soup bar. Every person I talked to said they were very happy and all of their needs are being met.

Very accommodatingmy mom’s apartment was spotless, except for the windowswe cleaned them and they replaced the screens the same day. They were prepared to greet my mom and showered her with attention! It was a difficult decision to have her leave her home but Legacy made it as smooth as a transition as possible. many thanks ‘

Every accomodation was enabled to help me move including the opportunity to move boxes and non essential items a day early . The apartment was spotless . Maintenance director appeared , pretty sure, before the ink was dry on a work order! The staff ALL seem to go the second mile from housekeeping to accessibility to directors and transparency in all paperwork provided . . The staff seems to listen care-fully to requests and provides great service : when washing some mats and a rug for me, upon returning the items , the garbage was taken out. Legacy is a wonderful place to live! My grandma enjoyed it so much that we got my father-in-law to make this his new home also. He loves the activities and the wonderful residents that live there. We feel that everyone who works at Legacy has the residents best interests in mind and truly cares about them. It truly feels like home.

We were trying to see the possibilities at Legacy. We were given an excellent tour and discussion of the particulars available, costs, etc. It is an excellent facility. We now have to determine whether it can work for us.

I am grateful for what Legacy has provided for my mom. She feels safe , less alone and has everything she needs from her meals to her religious services programs and activities. She has made many new close friends. It’s been a great experience working with the staff there. Leilani and Jennifer are so kind and helpful. My mom asked if I could include her review here. Her words : I chose to make Legacy my home a year ago. Legacy is pretty close to what I imagine my heavenly home to be like. From the time I entered legacy’s front doors I felt the beautiful comforting peaceful. helpful. & friendly spirit that radiated from everyone. There is so much to enjoy here at legacy. I just couldn’t imagine feeling bored or unloved here. A good thing is that we are able to choose we want and can do. Legacy retirement South Jordan is one of the most friendly facilities which I have visited. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the facility and the concerns of the residents. They are always having events for the residents. Both fun and educational. The transportion for the residents is fantastic and very dependable.

We stopped to visit my aunt, who is a resident here. The employees are always very helpful for us. My aunt enjoys all the activities; however, said the food is not good. The place is decorated very nicely. I love how each resident has a good size shelf and welcoming front door area to decorate how they would like.

I visit my parents here every week and get to see the day-to-day operations. They have the nicest residents who are so sweet to look out for each other. The facility is updated, looks nice, and feels homey. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are numerous activities for the residents to enjoy and transportation available for outside appointments. The Jordan River Temple is practically next door. So many positives to this building. Go for a visit and you'll see for yourself.

My parents are residents there. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. There are constant activities in the building and field trips. The common spaces are spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The food is great and the location is conveniently located. If you’re in the market, definitely a good place to consider.

Wonderful place for elderly. Great location with a beautiful view of the temple when driving in. Place has amazing daily activities and a salon. Place is kept up and spacious. Highly recommend for those who are able to afford it.

I am a current resident of Legacy. I have a one bedroom apartment that is very comfortable. The housekeeping is excellent, the meals are wonderful with several options if you want something different from the main menu. The staff and servers are friendly and very accommodating. The maintenance staff is excellent.

I recently moved my 85 year old mom from St. George to Salt Lake to be closer to me. After touring several independent living communities, both my mom and I chose Legacy in South Jordan. We worked with Leilani during the process. It was such a smooth transition for her (which I wasn't expecting). The entire staff at Legacy has been welcoming and very accommodating of all my mom's quirks. The other residents have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome. It's only been 4 weeks, but my mom has been thrilled with the food and all other services. It's like she's been here for years!! I highly recommend the Legacy and Leilani will go out of her way to assist you and your family with the whole process!!!

This is a beautiful facility! My dancers were able to come and perform for the residents. The residents were so receptive and happy and positive! The staff was nice and courteous! Everything was so clean and well taken care of!

My parents have lived at Legacy for 2 years and we have been so impressed by the caliber of the staff and the amenities provided. Everyone we have worked with, from the wait staff and cooks in the dining room, to the housekeeping staff, to the activities director and the administration, have been personable, kind, competent and have helped create a real community. The residents care about each other, socialize and enjoy engaging and interesting activities. We have especially enjoyed the remodeled family group space in the basement where you can have parties, the guests suite where those visiting from out of town can stay, and I've eaten many good meals in the dining room. I feel good knowing my parents are not anonymous or ever disrespected. I've seen great examples of kindness and service.

I have enjoyed living at Legacy Retirement. The center is immaculate and well maintained, and the staff members are very accommodating and warm to the residents. Legacy offers daily activities, wonderful entertainment, weekly field trips, and transportation to appointments if needed. It is located within walking distance of many community amenities, and the view of the mountains and LDS temple are breath taking! I am pleased to call Legacy Retirement Residence "home".

Grandma's moving in so we came to tour the place. Staff was very nice and helpful. The place is currently being remodeled, the finished spaces look great. Grandma likes how close it is to the Temple and that she doesn't have to cook anymore.

Legacy Retirement is a warm, and friendly community. I have observed many happy faces, and have watched experienced staff that provide excellent services. There's a great feeling when you enter the building. Seniors living there are content and feel secure. During the Covid-19 this year, it has been a place of safety and security and also where residents have been able to stay connected with their families. I would highly recommend Legacy for someone looking for their parents.

I went to the Legacy Anniversary celebration last week. It was a beautiful event in a beautiful building. Our Youth Choir sang for the happy residents, they had a great time and so did all of us in the Choir. Legacy is such a Friendly place.

I have lived here at Legacy Retirement for over 11 years. I have a large family that comes to visit me often. They love having me live here as they don't have to worry about me. I have weekly housekeeping and i don't have to worry about preparing my own meals. I feel safe and well cared for.

Good points: This is a very clean facility. It has a lot of activities for the residents. We like the transportation in that my father can get a ride whenever he needs one if he requests it 24 hours in advance. Cons: The food is not good. Service is extremely slow and they are perpetually understaffed. There has been a smell of gas in the hall by the kitchen. One of the servers said it is from the stove. Some of the residents have bedbugs and they are trying to get rid of the problem. The showers and kitchens have ridges that make it difficult for walkers and wheelchairs to glide easily. Overall it is a not a newer building so it is having aging issues like the rest of us.

The staff is generally attentive and friendly and the facilities are clean but dated. The activities are great. The food however, leqvea alot to be desired. Worse yet, they won't solve it. It used to a strong selling point, but no longer. Before choosing to have your loved one there, I'd suggest you try the food.
