I would like to give a big thank you to the staff for the outstanding job they did after I was hospitalized. After I came home that night on March 1, 2024, Mary Jane the executive Director came into my room and ask if I wanted anything. I told her I would like to have a peanut butter jelly sandwich and she went and got me one. I thought I could eat it, but I did not. The next day the following staff helped me: Gwen and, David (The cooks) Made sure whatever I asked for they cooked for me for the next three days. When you are sick here, you get free room service. The servers also were very kind and serve me very quickly. Zach, the concierge of the Villla told me if there's anything I need he would get it! I have been here six years and love it! They give you three meals a day, and work with you in whatever you are in need of. Also, Anthony, the Director of foods also came up To me and asked me what I could eat since I was on a bland food diet for three days… I just can't thank Them enough for getting me well again. All the residents here that I have met through the years also came up and told me how Concerned they were. I got cards, and phone calls.

The Villas have been taking really great care of my loved one - making sure she is comfortable even being a bit reclusive. The staff there is top notch, and the administration makes all residents and their families feel like family. A gem of a facility.

The Villa at Riverwood has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, it's a pleasure just to walk in the door! I know several people living there and I see their joy and also, their health improvement as they socialize. They enjoy the activities and just plain friendliness from staff and other residents. I highly recommend checking them out and moving in!

I am a recent resident at the Villa. My first impression was of the friendliness, sincere attitude, and helpful information offered by the residents and staff. There are many services offered: three laundry areas, housekeeping services offered weekly if desired, three full meals (each offers good selections and good tasting items), TV movie (plus popcorn) each week, exercise class at 10am each week day, exercise equipment for individual use in the exercise room, pool table and Wii bowling facilities, transportation bus (for outside activities and special events), our own chime choir, our non-denominational church service, non-denominational bible study, and catholic church services on Tuesday mornings. On the second floor there are tables and puzzles to work, card games being played, dominos and other games available for your participation. Our library is also there, with scheduled visits from the bookmobile and much more. Personally, I think I've found my home; new friends, more activities than I can mention, and, most importantly, I've found friendly, outgoing, and caring people in the residents and staff. I would highly recommend the Villa to anyone looking for a new place to call home.

I was trying to secure admission for the 97yr. old Father of a former co-worker of mine. The family had visited the facility and the prospective client was thrilled at the thought of moving to this facility. Mr. Mogley also was instrumental in linking me to an agency that was helpful in acquiring benefits for Veterans. Once I was in contact with this agency, the staff person was extremely helpful in connecting me with the proper documentation that was needed. In addition to working with the family on my client's move in date, Mr. Mogley also was instrumental in locating furniture, household items of a previous resident for my client. Sadly, my client sustained a massive stroke and passed away. The family in spite of their grief at the loss of their Father, were equally upset that he would not be moving to the Villa.

Where do I begin? From the initial phone call to the tour to Moving Day Bob and his team at the Villa have been nothing short of professional. We were so impressed with the warmth and enthusiasm expressed through the phone, our initial thoughts were hopeful. The Villa at Riverwoods does not disappoint. Its exceptionally clean, smells nice and just a very modern yet warm place. Very welcoming and accommodating for all walks of life. The Villa is top tier! Amazing price and most reasonable I've found around that your loved one can call home. The lobby entrance gives you that TN cabin feel with the fireplace on the entrance, kind faces at the front desk and the bustle and chatter of the residents. The apartments are quaintly unique and the floors aren't slippery as some are at risk of falling. Most bathrooms are spacious and equipped for older ones to take a shower safely. What blew our minds are the three meals are included in the rent, as well as transportation and laundry. There are so many more hidden gems about the Villa you'd really have to just experience it for yourself. I truly believe it worth every penny! Definitely a place to call home. I tell everyone about it. 5 stars easy!

I have been here for almost five years and I love it! The staff is very helpful and really do try to take care of everything you need. If you are looking for a place that you don’t have to cook, clean your place you really need to check this villa out. I checked several places and you will not fine a better place. The food is exceptional with three meals a day. Outstanding menu. I have met some great people. They have activities everyday and even have outings to take you places. I know Bob Mogley would show you the different apartments they have available and you can even meet me(Tammy). Brandi the director stays on top of things making sure things are taking care of which I think is important.

I must say after months of searching for our 81 year old dad the right place to live, we have found the Villas at Riverwood's to be the best! Bob was so helpful and patient with us deciding and upon our dad’s arrival the community was very warm and friendly. Bob's compassion and concern for the elderly retirees goes beyond measure. Dad’s apartment was so nice and clean and just the right size to accommodate him. The facility has a beautiful dining area which he can sit and eat home cook meals 3 times a day. I love the recreation and physical therapy offered here. The staff is friendly and the people living here are so happy at this place, it’s amazing! This Villa offers so much more to name and it is in a great location where our dad can feel safe. Our family is pleased with this facility and we feel comfortable with our dad living here.

I was divinely led to The Villa on a walk and this place is phenomenal!!! One of the residents in the parking lot gave a glowing review about her experience and recommended I speak with Bob, who is very knowledgeable and patient (speak with him if you can he's great!). This place was unlike any other! Here are a few thing they offered that caught my attention: Firstly, there is NO odor or a smell when you walk in! That alone makes it feel like a true apartment complex for seniors instead of like a medical facility. Secondly, residents are allowed to keep their independence by choosing their meals off a menu so they still have a sense of autonomy! Also, there is a beautician onsite, they have physical therapy and can take residents to doctors appointments, which are all so convenient! In addition, they have program & outings for the residents AND they've done it all COVID FREE--AMAZING!!! This is just a small sampling of what The Villa offers and I hope this gives someone on the cusp of the decision some key benefits as to why and how The Villa is a great place to live! I'm excited to work with Bob because it seems like this will be a great fit for a family member of mine but if they don't end up there, I'm definitely reserving my spot for when I turn 55! —

A great place for your love ones to live. Location is nestled in a great Community with green spaces. Spacious apartments with many amenities and dining is like eating at a five star restaurant. Villa at Riverwood gave us a great tour and all of our questions were answered.

Well, where to begin. My sister in law just moved to the Villa at Riverwood and she is so pleased. What a relief to be free from the responsibility of home ownership and cooking! And she loves having so many lovely personalities to interact with. So far her experience has been simply wonderful! Thank you to Bob and Todd and all of the staff for all you have done for us. We are ever so grateful.

We moved my aunt to Riverwood about 7 years ago and I have been so pleased. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The living space is very nice, the food is great and the common areas are well-maintained. I also appreciate the communication that comes from the director about any health, security or procedural concerns. We have been so pleased that this year my dad moved in to his apartment. He and his sister (my aunt) can now keep an eye on each other!

You will wont find a better senior citizen retirement community in Florissant than the Villa at Riverwood. Bob Mosby and Todd Nault go out of their way to be of service and see to need and the comfort of the residents. It is a great place.

This year started off on a rough start My mom wasnt doing too good and I couldnt continue to work knowing that she didnt have someone to look after her or check on her while I was at work I started looking for a placement for her I received so many calls from assistant living and retirement homes I just gave up it was overwhelming until I came across The Villa At Riverwood I was hesitant at first because of all the options that were out there and I didnt want to jump in head first But when I decided to go do a tour and met Bob there was no doubt in my mind this was the place for my mom and I am very happy with the decision I made Bob is great its truly a blessing to come across good people

I found out on very short notice that I needed to find a place for my mom. I cannot express how lucky I feel to have been recommended to check out The Villa at Riverwood. From first contact with Bob Mogley, I felt we were in the right place and in very good hands. Bob went above and beyond to get us all information needed as well as set up a tour. He worked with me every day to get everything completed and my mom moved into her new place quickly. The staff is super friendly and has made my mom and me feel welcome and cared about. It is a very clean and homey place and strives for independent living for its residents. They also work very hard to keep their community Covid free. You wont regret your visit to Villa! The staff seem to be very helpful and friendly. Bob is great. They have been good to my Mom so far though she has just moved in. My Mom seems very happy there. The reason I dont give 5 stars is because the facility is run down and in need of a thorough professional cleaning. The carpeting specifically throughout should be replaced immediately.

Moving my mom to The Villa at Riverwood was a good experience. The staff, especially Bob Mogley, and Todd Nault, were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment has everything my mom needs. She is enjoying the amenity of 3 meals prepared everyday. My mom can plan to call The Villa home even if she will need some assistance in the future because The Villa provides the service of Full Circle on site. Full Circle allows residents to add assisting services such as medicine disbursement, help with laundry, help with showering, etc. as a resident may need them.

THANK YOU, Riverwood Staff, for making my Moms transition into a new living situation smooth and comfortable. She, we have felt welcome and heard-- her many needs have been met, thoroughly and in a timely way. She has appreciated how responsive and kind everyone has been. I love that she is able to maintain a level of independence that suits her needs right now. I can tell she feels good about being able to continue to do so many things on her own yet can take the time to rest when needed and still have some support, as needed. Having in-house therapies to help her acclimate to her new setting is a tremendous benefit, and she no longer relies on family to take her to these appointments. A great fit at the right time!

The Villa at Riverwood Senior Independent Living has been one of the nicest facilities that our 94 year old Aunt has had the pleasure of living there. The staff from the Todd the Director of the facility, Kelly the activities Director and Bob the Leasing Manager made her stay very pleasurable. The food is outstanding and you have many choices each day. She looks forward to the outings and the weekly coffee get together. We would highly recommend the Villa at Riverwood if you are looking for well kept and reasonable priced facility for your senior family member.

My Mom just moved into The Villa at Riverwood and we couldnt be more pleased. Its a beautiful independent living senior apartment complex in North County; however, they have so many amenities that make it possible for seniors who may need some help to live there as well. Mom is adapting to her new home very nicely and is really enjoying her new life. Im so glad that she was able to make this move while she can appreciate all they have to offer! If youre looking for a senior living option in North County, I highly recommend you contact The Villa at Riverwood for a tour!

Last year I needed to find a new living arrangement for my friend with Down Syndrome and his mom who was showing signs of dementia. I had just a week to find a home that was affordable, safe, had many in house activities, provided housekeeping and food services. Well.. we found The Villa at Riverwood and were able to move in -in just a week! Thanks Bob! Best thing we ever did! The staff is amazing from the Director Todd who is understanding and always accessible—to those providing food service and concierge services. There are plenty of fun activities including on site Silver Sneakers, choir, church services, bus services to stores and fun activities, and many more. The cost is affordable and every time I visit I notice a new upgrade. My friend and his mom just celebrated one year at the Villa with his birthday party in the beautiful multi purpose room (at no additional charge). The Villa has a partnership with Full Circle LLC for personal care and, medication services if needed. Dont even get me started on how amazing Shanell and her staff are. They take such a personal interest in the well being of each client. Do not hesitate! Take a tour and sign up today. I speak from the heart. This has been life changing for myself and my friends.

My mother Nancy Davis moved into the Villa at Riverwood on Monday. I looked at a lot of different retirement homes and we definitely made the right choice! My husband and I met with Bob and he was extremely professional and answered all of our questions. We also met the administrator Todd which was very professional, as well. Even though my dad decided not to move here, I would HIGHLY recommend the facility. All of the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They take there time and work with your loved ones. I would say a 5 + for excellence in every area.

I wanted to say that Bob, the Marketing Manager, is awesome! He stayed late to accommodate our families schedule so we could tour the facility. He knew all the residents names and introduced us to residents and employees alike. He did not talk AT my mother-in-law, but TO her. While waiting for my sister-in-law, he sat my MIL down and then got down on his knee so he was at her level. He then found a topic that interested her, asked her opinions on it, and conversed with her until we could begin the tour. He made her feel special. The facility itself is very nice and had the most square footage per room of any place we looked. We ended up not choosing The Villa, but only because the location of the place we did choose was more centrally located for all family members and because in case of an emergency, the ambulance coming to the Villa would have taken her to a hospital were none of her doctors were located.

My mother has been a resident at the Villa for the past three years. On numerous occasions the Villas staff has stepped up and gone above and beyond what was expected. They make every effort to accommodate any request you may make dealing with the room or a specific service. Todd, the director, always has the best interest of the residents in mind when dealing with any situation that may arise. We have been very happy with our overall experience with the Villa at Riverwood.

This place is amazing. Bob and Todd are so friendly and accommodating. I recently moved my parents from out of state to here and the whole process couldnt have gone smoother. From Skype interviews to lots of email communication , everyone was so helpful. The apartments are lovely and literally EVERYONE is a gem. I am a nurse, so I looked at this place quite critically-it passed with flying colors. My parents have moved in now and they love it. They are participating in activities and enjoying themselves. There are a wide range of ages and abilities in the residents- so everyone can feel comfortable no matter what level they are at. Honestly, this is the best kept secret of the STL area. Very affordable, especially compared to similar places around the area. HIGHLY recommend. The peace of mind I have with my parents there is wonderful- I can travel freely and know that all their needs are being met, as well as having assistance immediately available should they need it.

The Villa at Riverwood truly is the Hidden Gem of North County. This place is like living in a Resort. The meals are fantastic, you have their version of room service, with light house keeping. And they will keep you busy with activities!! Bob and Todd are the BEST two guys to deal with. They will make sure your Every Wish comes true!! Give them a try, you wont be disappointed. My grandmother was in her home for nearly 51 years when we decided that it was time to transition her to assisted living because of some falls and other difficulties she was experiencing while living alone. She was in rehab when we took her for a tour of The Villa. At that time, she was very impressed. Bob and The Villa made us fee very welcome and impressed us with the number of events and activities they have on average each month, the amenities and the beautiful facility. My grandmother was yet still resistant to letting go of the comfort of her home setting. So she went back home once she had completed rehab. However, Bob kept in touch with her regularly, by calling to check on her, talk with her over the phone and give her updates on the fun activities and events that were occurring at The Villa. She liked that very much and that warmed her up to him. My grandmother is a tough old gal who doesnt warm up to everyone right away. A couple of months later, my grandmother experienced a few additional falls and wound up back in rehab. Bob and Todd came to visit her while she was there. This impressed her and our family a great deal as well. At the end of her rehab stay this time around (5-6 weeks), she was more than ready to go to her new home as she called it, at The Villa. Now that she is there, she is busy every single day, getting involved with the outings, events and activities, mingling with her neighbors and living her life in fullness....with a little bit of help from the staff at the Villa! Thank you so much Bob and Todd! You really gave my granny a second chance at a full and productive life in her golden years.... and our family the peace of mind knowing that she is in a safe, beautiful environment with people who also care for her well-being. I have lived at the Villa for three years. It has been a wonderful experience. There are so many activities, outings, entertainment and meetings to keep us as busy as we wish to be. It is a personal choice to take advantage of these opportunities, or just stay to ourselves in our lovely apartments. Three meals a day are included in our monthly rent. We do not have plan our meals, shop, cook or clean up after these meals, which are served in an attractive restaurant style dining room. We are asked for input of our likes and dislikes of the food at a monthly dietary meeting. We are encouraged to report any problems that might arise to the chef and to Todd the executive director, so that they may be taken care of in a timely manner. The staff is open to any suggestions or complaints that occur as long as they serve all residents equally. They are always alert to our safety, comfort and well-being. I can not imagine a better place to spend my retiring years.

My sisters wanted to find a place that my mother would feel welcomed and we found Villa at Riverwood. Bob was my first contact and he couldnt have been friendlier. He spent almost an hour with me and answered all of my questions with a smile. I knew we found the right place for our mother. I told my 4 sisters about it and we all sat down with Bob and they agreed that Villa at Riverwood was the perfect place. He was so patient listening to all of our concerns. I cant say enough about our first time experience. When Bob met with our mother she was hesitant to move in and Bob calmly talked with her about the benefits of her own space. It worked and we will be moving her in later this week. I do have to mention that the lobby has a pleasant smell, not of food or dirt like some of the places we visited. We are all looking forward to our mother settling in and becoming part of the Riverwood family. Thank you

1st class facility and staff. Bob and Todd helped take care of all of the details and made the decision making and move-in process a breeze. Thrilled to have a loved one at the Villa at Riverwood. Our family was able to quickly come to a decision that this was the right community. It had it all, flexibility, safety, lots of activities and great food. The cost was very competitive and affordable. Check out the Villa at Riverwood if you have an aging loved one who needs a change of pace. Only regret is that we didnt find them 5 years ago!
