Atria Oakridge's best asset is its people. We have staff across departments who truly care about our residents. It is a common sight to see staff laughing, joking with and hugging residents. This is clearly sincere behavior on the part of our staff. Additionally, our residents care about one another. I have lived here for the last three years. After being here for only 5 and one half months, my husband passed away unexpectedly. Had I not had the support of staff and fellow residents, I am certain that I would not be here today. I will never forget how everyone rallied behind me and I am eternally grateful. Atria Oakridge, I love you!!!!

Atria Oakridge is by far the best of the best when looking for a senior living facility. Just walking through the door, you already feel at home. You can tell the staff cares as they are always willing to help. The residents are active in their community and have created a family-like environment. There are various activities for the residents to engage in, wonderful meals, a person staffed at the desk 24/7, and an amazing housekeeping/maintenance team. Atria Oakridge is the place to be!

I am an entertainer who performs at several senior communities in the area, and find Atria Oakridge to have the best staff and programs I have experienced! The residents all appear to be happy and engaged in all of their activities. As a retired woman , if I had to choose a community to live in, this would be it!!!

When looking for a senior facility for my mother who had lived with me for several years, I found Atria Oakridge and never looked back! Everyone that works there - from front desk to maintenance to food services to the executive director - is warm, friendly and welcoming. Everyone takes the time to get to know not only the residents but their families as well. After touring many places in the Raleigh area, I found that you really get a feel for a place as soon as you walk through the doors and Atria felt like home! All of the residents and staff were happy to be there and that says a lot for a place that you are entrusting with your loved ones. I recommend Atria Oakridge wholeheartedly!

My dad moved to Atria Oakridge a month ago. We chose Atria because of the warm, caring, family atmosphere. The residents & staff are some of the kindest, most welcoming people and the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that my dad is all settled in and getting to know his way around. He has commented often on how much he enjoys the food, says that if you are bored is your own fault because there is always something to do, and has really gotten used to having someone else there to help with the cleaning and maintenance of his apartment. We are so grateful to have him closer to us, and in a place where we know he is safe and thriving!

This is better than living in a a small town. Everyone knows your name and there are always new people to meet and share stories of life with. I personally don't sit with the same people every meal but some people have their own discussion groups. There are activities galore from educational, to exercise, to just plain fun (Wii bowling. Bingo, Card games). From the living room to the library you can always find a comfortable place to chat or just relax.

Atria at Oakridge has been the most wonderful place for my mom. The staff is the best! They know all their residents by name. They make you feel welcome the minute you walk in. I’ve never met a more friendly group of residents. Everyone looks out for each other. They are truly a community. Seeing my mom so happy and loving where she lives is just what I was looking for. If you are looking for adult senior living for your loved ones this is the place! 5 stars!!!

My father-in-law lived at Atria Oakridge for the last nine months of his life. He was very happy there - I wish he had moved in sooner! He made friends, participated in activities that interested him, and had a social life. His apartment was spacious and comfortable, the facilities were clean and well-cared for, and I felt good knowing there were people around him that could look in on him when he was under the weather. The staff was so accommodating and kind - they genuinely cared about him and made us all feel like family. I highly recommend this for any seniors who are looking to improve their quality of life.

I'm a resident of Atria Oakridge for a year and a half. It was not the best of times but that period is passed history. It's a great community with the best residents and staff who care about out needs and wants. You can look at the rest, but you will find the best here at Atria Oakridge. Don't pass up the one that is the best for you.

It's a senior living facility. The staff is helpful and friendly. Low point is the food. Many times the food is not hot and alot of packaged food is used instead of fresh ingredients .

Moved my widowed mother from Seattle, WA. in 2018 to Atria after having her live with me for two years. She was not happy and needed to be with her peers. So after looking at all of the options in the Raleigh/Durham area went with Atria. The best decision she and I made. She made friends and started going to the social events and activities including field trips. Instead of relying on me for everything she regained her independence. The food has been wonderful with the new chef and the new management is exceptional. You can tell that they have the residents best interests at heart. The Department Directors are visible and accessible and the focus is the residents. There is a wonderful sense of community with the new staff.

My parents were at Atria Oakridge for over 5 years. It is a great place! They have activities for the residents and theres always something to do if the resident chooses. My parents chose to do less, but they still enjoyed it there. There are doctors offices and shopping nearby so you dont have to worry about them having to drive far ... plus Atria Oakridge offers bus trips to the stores. The food was excellent and going to dinner was a social event for them. They really enjoyed it. The best part of Atria Oakridge, however, is the caring staff. My dad struggled with illness toward the end of his stay at Atria Oakridge, and the staff not only helped with anything needed, but they also checked in on my Mom during my Dads hospital stay. We had a great experience there....5 stars!

I just recently helped my grandmother move to Atria. Shes been there for about 3 weeks! She absolutely loves it! She loves the activities, entertainment, the food, and the amazing staff! We have had a very seamless transition. All of our needs have been met, our questions answered, and we feel like this is a great fit for my family! Thank you all for helping Greatma get settled.

Best years of my mothers life.We had moved my mom here from FL last year to live a long and happy life. Sadly she died suddenly but not before spending at least 15 of the happiest years of her life at Atria. She had made a lot of friends not only with the residents but also the staff, who were always wonderful to us and to her. They always did what they said they would, kept a watchful eye on her, and helped whenever needed. The living accommodations are top notch, the food is amazing, and the staff is great. What more could you want?

My father has been living there since June. Prior to moving him there, my siblings and I investigated 30 different places, visited 6 and chose Atria Oakridge. We are glad we did. Dad, who never thought he could be happy anywhere but in his own home, enjoys his lovely apartment, the compassionate and responsive staff, and the good food.

Our experience with my father in law - for the past 4 + years has truly been exceptional. The staff is so helpful. He is so busy with outings, pool, bible study, and even has his own garden space. It is so easy to like this place when so many of the residents have made friends for life, and enjoy their new friendships and the many events their Recreation Director Amy has for them. There is no way to be bored unless you never come out of your room. We are so pleased with Atria and what the new director is doing to have a counsel of residents meet regularly and give ideas and suggestions. It really makes visiting your family member and enjoying all the socials or just dropping in to find so many of the residents doing things together and having a blast. You can walk in the lobby at about anytime of day and find people sitting together and just listening to a resident play the piano, or playing pool or cards, or just putting together a puzzle. At Oakridge, I volunteer as a computer helper. Once a week, I help the residents with any computer-related problems. This being said, I am not a resident but from what I have seen I am very impressed with Oakridge. The entire facility is beautiful and filled with many things to do. Apart from the Bingo, a Pool Table, Etc. Ive seen all of the different events such as movies and shopping on the calendar which provide the residents a way to go out and have fun. With the facility and services aside there is still one thing that I like about Oakridge: it really is a community. Every time that I am there I see the residents talking, laughing, and having a good time with each other and with the staff. In the few short visits that I have had, Ive had a great experience with Oakridge and I look forward to continuing my visits. Overall, the facility, services, and community are all amazing and even as a non-resident, its a great place to be.
