My parents made the stressful move from Maryland to be in Harleysville near my husband and me. After 55 years of being in their home it was a complete adjustment. Happy to report that they are doing well. Everyone is so friendly to them, staff & residents. They love their place, pt department, gym, activities, food. It has relieved a huge burden on me as the daughter. I am grateful for Arbour Square!

My mom has been living at Arbor Square a little over a year and it has been a great experience for her. The building is very new, and always clean. The food has been very good and there are always activities that my mom has been able to enjoy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, including hanging things for mom when she moved in. Great location with shops and a grocery store near by. I would recommend to anyone who’s looking for an independent living facility.

I went to visit my mom and dad and ate in the dining room numerous times. Kelly, Alison, Sam, Meghan, Leonard, Emma Cook and Emma Felegie were all very helpful and attentive to my parents and myself and my sisters. They made our experience very enjoyable.

My dad loves it here. There are lots of great activities. He likes to play pool, and listen to historians and music. The food is decent- we go over and eat with him sometimes. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean.

I can’t express how much I enjoyed my stay at Arbour Square. The staff at Arbour Square were great ‘, they would try to make your stay at Arbour Square so comfortable. The B&B room where I stayed was so clean and comfortable, completely supplied with all the Necessities. I found my place to stay, every time I come up to Pa. to visit my friends. ( the kitchen staff and the food were great also)

Arbour Square is not just a nice apartment with access to amenities that enhance quality of life for older people. It is also a vibrant community carefully designed to allow older people feel that they are still living a normal life. All of the basic needs are covered - delicious food, hair salon, medical facility, snack bar, etc. I like that most of the amenities are in an area that looks like a quaint main street. It gives the residents a sense that they have gone somewhere other than just their hallway. There are numerous sitting areas with lots of natural light and even a computer center with special reading magnifiers for vision impaired residents. There is shopping within easy walking distance allowing for a sense of independence and also transportation available for doctor visits, shopping, entertainment, etc. Cost is reasonable and a good value.

The staff there are AWESOME!!! They communicate with me to make sure that I know that my mother is being well cared for. They are always very prompt in replying to my e-mails, calls, and text messages! They even send monthly newsletters with important information! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone seeking a retirement home/community!!!

During our initial visit to Arbor Square when we were evaluating several facilities as options for my father, I was impressed with the facility but also with the people. We were looking for a facility that would facilitate an easier transition from complete independence to a retirement community. What we found was a team that worked to integrate my father into the community by getting to know him and introduce him to others in the community to make him feel more at home. This attention to the residents starts at the top with the Administrator (Mimi Kehan) and flows down to all of the staff. Their efforts are directed to making the residents comfortable and happy, and this is done in a proactive manner. This cannot be done unless they know their residents. During this pandemic period there was tremendous effort to keep everyone safe - and the response from facility management was timely, transparent, and caring. This made a difference... I highly recommend Arbor Square to everyone looking for a retirement facility.

My parents just moved a few months ago. I love that while things like this can be a hard transition from a house to an apartment, the process was made to ease any anxiety. They are now enjoying the apartment and the community. They have shared, their apartment is cozy, the food is good and plenty of it, there are consistent activities if they want to join in, and the other residence are very friendly. The staff has also been easy to work with and very friendly. Another thing my sister and I appreciated is that we were allowed to be part of the process and they included us in the communication early on. I could not be happier with their choice.

My father lived here for close to three years. He loved it! Everyone who worked there truly cared about the residents. Arbour Square was always clean! My father loved to paint and the staff went out of their way to offer spaces for him to set up his art supplies. The food was good. The apartments beautiful. I am happy and relieved to know my Father was able to truly enjoy himself here for three years. He's up there in age and due to illness he's no longer there living independently but while he was at Arbour Square Mainstreet he had a wonderful time!!!

Mom & dad have been living at Arbour Square @ Harleysville, for about a year and a half now. The genuine care and concern shown to my parents, by the staff, continues to amaze me. They all know every resident by name. Even during this very difficult time of COVID-19, the staff continue to find innovative ways to care for and entertain the residents, while maintaining a safe environment for all. Often visit my great aunt here, she always remarks about how pleasant and enriching living at Arbour Square is! The buildings and grounds are very tastefully kept and it's always beautiful no matter what season! They do a wonderful job there and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it for themselves or a loved one as a place to settle down without the excess distractions of living outside of a community as such.

Dad had been there for 3 years and has loved it. As a nurse myself I have very high standards. The staff are energetic, kind and supper supportive. My dad has mild dementia and they are supper supportive offering cues and repeatedly answering the same questions over and over with respect and kindness. They have made it possible for my dad to maintain his dignity and socialize with others while he ages. We could not be happier with all the staff and services at Arbour Square Harleysville. They have also done a great job keeping the residents very safe during the Covid pandemic.

My parents have been at Arbour Square of Harleysville for a little over a year and are very happy there. Some of the items they have been consistently pleased with are: the food, activities available, the staff, environment inside and outside, shopping very close, and the friendliness of other residents. The director there is amazing. She is very accommodating to the residents and families. The age and heath range of the people there is a bit diversified which in my opinion is good. My mother is 79 but in very good health and very active. My father is a bit slower paced. They have both been able to make friends that match their pace. When we were looking for a place for my parents this place stood out because of: how nice the inside common areas were, we talked to other residents and all were very happy, the place was very clean, the mood was upbeat, and when we called and e-mailed with follow-up questions we always got prompt responses. My parents recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. The staff there went out of their way to help us celebrate it. I can’t emphasize enough that the management and staff there put a lot of effort to provide a very nice and safe place for their residents.

Many, many wonderful friends to spend my days with, fun protects dot my week and a ticket to ride to stores, medical locations for Dr. Apps, and SOUDERTON HIGH SCHOOL WINTER CONCERT which lit up my holiday spirit!
