The staff are friendly and professional. We love Wanda (Activities Director), she's a joy and keep us laughing. Wanda is always helping and loving on the residents. I love that they have so many outings for the residents inside and outside of the facility.

Wanda has been the best Activities Director. She always goes out of her way to make sure everyone is having a good time. She squeezed me in at the last minute for a wonderful rib dinner. In which I otherwise would have missed.

I've been here for 8+ years and consider it my forever home. Both the Baldwin House staff and the Advisacare staff (a third-party company that provides nursing aide services billed on an ala carte basis) are friendly and competent. Wanda (our community's Life Enrichment Director) does an exceptional job of keeping residents socially engaged. Since none of the activities are mandatory, I feel free to retire to my apartment when I crave time alone.

I am a resident at the BALDWIN house, James Glister, this place is great. I’ve been very pleased. I’ve lived here for six months. The management staff is excellent top-notch especially The Executive Leasing Christine Henzel, As well as the management Staff. Reggie, Katrenia And Wanda. The place is Kept up very well it’s very clean And maintain the highest level. I truly appreciate all the attention they put on their resident for the resident all that Care that they put into their residence. They even have a nursing staff 24 seven available through a service called ad adviscare. It helps you to maintain your independence and have enjoyable life!! My name is Sandra. I currently live at BALDWIN HOUSE. I moved into BALDWIN HOUSE when it was still American house. BALDWIN HOUSE has really been good to me the 24 hour nursing staff people when you ring for them will come if you need to talk to them they’ll talk if you need them to walk with you they’ll walk. They have been really good for me, the staff has been excellent. I haven’t had any problems with anyone when there is a maintenance issue. It is resolved the same day if possible, which is usually the case or safer instance if it’s the furnace or AC then it’s understandable that I might have to wait a day. I’ve never waited longer than a day And I’ve never been without heat. I’ve only had issues with my air conditioning. I don’t have any complaints about House? It’s clean. The people are friendly. We are pretty much know each other. We congregate together with each other. It’s really a good place to be in the days and times of Independence becoming a memory ball House makes up for that I am 72 years old one of the hardest things for me. It’s not being able to do some of the things I once love to do. I hope this helps someone this is just a real situation for some of us aging people, however if you are one who continues to do your traveling your dancing you’re dating or what have you? This is still a good place to be. There’s many of us in still in that situation and loving it every minute and we can live our lives our best lives at BALDWIN HOUSE so if you’re thinking about down sizing think about BALDWIN HOUSE . Daiy activities like exercises movies outing in. the various communities. We have a VAN that take us shopping,banking and sometimes to the Casino. We have games and Spritual medatation. We. Christine was wonderful She was knowledgeable, friendly, and sincerely compassionate; from the initial phone call throughout the tour and office visit. The support staff & even the residents were open & friendly. If you're exploring senior living options, I recommend checking out Baldwin House.

The Bldg is what draws you in but the svcs are what drive u away! My mom moved in there in 2021 while it was still American House & the svcs were still being offered for a fee. A lil while later the name changed to Baldwin House and a lil while after that it turned into Independent Living. All the svcs that I specifically moved my mom in for were no longer available! So she rec’vs frozen dinners instead of hot meals from the cafeteria, she has housekeeping svcs by another homecare svc that only comes twice a week and sometimes not even that because they can’t come for whatever reason and in-house homecare that needs to be upgraded for residents who need extra care & more trainingexcluding the med tech/aides that do their jobs with compassion, patience & empathy for those in their care! As long as people go in knowing all the facts and don’t require a lot of help this could probably be a good place to live! IJS™

The beautiful landscape when you enter the complex. Walking in the place is simply beautiful. Friendly staff. Great dining area the food is good. The apartments are gorgeous.

Visited my 98 year young cousin. When visiting senior facilities you use your nose. The lobby did smell like pee however the floor my cousin stays on was fresh and clean smelling. Her apartment also smelled fresh.
