I have a love one living at the community. She loves her apartment and her new friends. Its bright and welcoming.

The community is welcoming and the staff is friendly. There are a lot of activities during the day. The cost isn't that bad, but the care cost is separate.

Recently toured the community and found it to be bright, clean and welcoming. The staff and residents said Hi as I walked the community. I would recommend families to put this community on their list of places to tour.

Had a love one that lived at the community. Her favorite thing to do is greet staff and residents in the hallway on the way to breakfast. After breakfast she would sit in the hallway continuing wishing everyone good morning. I would like to thank everyone at the community for making my loved one stay a wonderful experience.

The American house is one of the finest senior care facilities I have ever been in. My mother lived there prior to passing away and my sister is still there. A Testament of how great this place is, many of the staff have been there for well over 10 years. We drop in on my sister frequently and her treatment seen and unseen is is 5 star

The Customer Service team is great. We just felt like the Assisted Living Part is too high. Didn't appreciate Dawn attitude of chasing us around, knocking & just walking in without an invite. I don't like being tracked down.

I go to see my grandmother, who lives in one of the satellite cottages. Shes comfortable, and happy.

Elizabeth, the activities director goes over and above the call of duty. She does a fabulous job entertaining the seniors on site and with road trips (casinos, lunches, dinners, the cider mill, boat trips and for ice cream to name only a few). My mom is in the independent living section.

Great place. Yes, cannot say enough about this place. My father, Rudy age 95, is in a studio apartment. He lives here and feels it home even though he still has his own home of about 64 years. He loves being on his own but can ask for help at any time, and everyone comes running. Its a wonderful environment and everyone is so nice. Easy to come and see my Dad and also get enjoyment out of it while there. Everyday there is a new program to enjoy. My father loves the entertainment and loves to sing along. The Entertainment that comes in relates to people of all ages. Im only 68 and I love American House, Dearborn Heights!!
