I have been very happy at University Oaks. For some time, another resident and I were a couple. I do not regret this, although he needed a professional caregiver, and I am a friend but not a caregiver. Now that he has moved and is receiving the care he needs, I have resumed some of the activities I enjoy and am enjoying my life here. Of course, we are all self-isolated due to another outbreak of Covid.

My mom lives here. The place has a great staff and really makes the effort for activities and events on site. For an affordable rate she has her apartment, utilities covered, dining included with wait staff (not like a cafeteria), room cleaned weekly including her linens, plus more. Its a great retirement community at a great price.
