Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. My uncle has been here for two years. I come almost daily to check on him. The staff is super friendly and genuine. They really look out and go above and beyond for the residents. The place is clean. It’s updated. The company that owns it is spending a lot of money on the building, which is a good sign. It’s reasonably priced. The food is good. I wish I could move in, but I’m not quite old enough..

One word to describe Asher Point of Mobile...WOW! We had an incredible experience at this independent living community. From the tour to the incredible lunch experience (chicken and waffles with a combination of spice and sweet and an incredible dessert assortment) it was a 5 star performance all around. The residents in the dining room and staff were very welcoming, even with a first time guest. Had an opportunity to talk to residents who lived there 12 weeks and those up to 6 years. All had positive comments about living at Asher Point.

This is the BEST community for active retirees who want to live independently with occasional help when needed. My sister is living her "BEST LIFE" since we moved her from Dallas, Texas!! She has her own apartment with a cute patio area!! She is constantly participating in the on-site activities: BINGO, Bocche Ball, auctions, trips to the store, etc. Even though she often visits with family, she will let you know that she wants to get back home. I’ve been to University Osks Retirement Home for 4 month, I’m very happy I made this choice, the Staff and Residents are very friendly they are Like family. We have lots of activities, including on special occasions they provide us with known musicians to entertain us. They provide the Residents with transportations to shopping and Drs appointments. We have a great chef that makes delicious food. Overall I’m very happy here.

University Oaks is a clean friendly community you can call home. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable in each department. The food is amazing and each chef is personable, after every meal service the chefs greet each resident and asks them how they like their meal. I would highly recommend this community to your loved ones and friends!

Hello. It's Mae Watson here. My girls located Holiday University Oaks Senior Living for me after an extensive illness. It has coach shuttle to medical appointments, shopping and other events, all week and all the meals, and utilities are included in the monthly rent along with many other services and amenities. I have adjusted well and enjoy my life here.

I have been very happy at University Oaks. For some time, another resident and I were a couple. I do not regret this, although he needed a professional caregiver, and I am a friend but not a caregiver. Now that he has moved and is receiving the care he needs, I have resumed some of the activities I enjoy and am enjoying my life here. Of course, we are all self-isolated due to another outbreak of Covid.

When my mother in law first went to University Oaks we were so pleased with the food service. In the two years that she has been there the food has changed for the worse. Food that is supposed to be prepared from scratch tastes more like leftovers. She is so disappointed with the food that she takes every opportunity not to eat there.....which is sad because she pays for three meals a day and usually eats just one....the soup in the evening is so watery that you don't know what is in it except water. The managers are VERY nice to her and she enjoys the folks who reside there. Her apartment is nice and they are quick to repair everything. The service to doctor appointments is great ! Rumor is.... the cook can't be fired .......guess there is nothing to do about the bad food service !
