My mother and I came to he Reaerve at Greenbrier and we saw Joan and she was wonderful. She welcomed us in and did a tour of the facility. She explained everything well and how they have a huge community and connection to the residents. My mother was nervous and now she is ready to move. The facility is very cleaned and well managed.

Our meeting with Joan was exceptional. From start to finish, she was extremely professional and personal. Throughout our tour she explained everything the community had to offer. She left no stone unturned. She spoke on every physical feature of each building in the facility and on the community as a whole. 1st visit -settling an estate and planning a move. Impressed at my walk through, options offered etc. nice location , central courtyard etc. i can see myself moving in here. Full occupancy so there is a waiting list, refundable reservation fee if you change your mind or it used for one-time community fee and apartment rent. Flexible and welcoming on site activities, transportation etc

I only toured the facility while looking for an apartment for my father. The place is immaculate! It, in no way, feels like a senior living building. I visited a 1 bedroom apartment with the sunroom and was amazed by the spaciousness. Amenities, so many! If all works out, my father will be a resident.

I’ve been a CURRENT resident of The Reserve at Greenbrier for 6 years and I have immensely Enjoyed the responsive, helpful , respectful, and service accommodations , This is an independent living community but they do their very best to accommodate all . We are even served a full breakfast each week, free of charge directed by our affable and friendly Mrs Joan Motley, Director of Sales The services here are top notch and very positive . My friend is looking to move in and we met with Joan for a tour. She was so lovely and thorough with her tour that my friend put down her deposit that day! The apartments are luxury apartments and very spacious with a lot of storage and the grounds are gorgeous. It’s a gated community with very little traffic so it’s very quiet and safe. There are also many weekly and monthly activities that allow residents to be as social and active as they want! Joan has been a pleasure to work with and I definitely appreciated her knowledge of case management and community resources. I know my friend will be very comfortable and well-taken care of!

I love everything about this community. I did a tour with my mom, and the community was very welcoming. We are hoping to move in at the end of the year. Cannot say enough about The Reserve at Greenbrier and their Director, Joan Motley. The facility and landscaped grounds are truly inviting. There is an undeniable sense of fellowship, you can feel it as soon as you enter the premises. Joan and the staff are professional and friendly, and the wellbeing of the residents, and future residents is clear from the first visit. My Mother, 82, was naturally upset about the stress involved in relocating, and I was worried about finding a suitable place for her. Not after our first visit to The Reserve. Joan was patient, understanding and compassionate. She took my Mums hand and welcomed her, immediately putting her at ease. She helped us with the application process, and was always available when we had questions or concerns. My Mum will be moving in to The Reserve in 6 weeks, and I know we have found safe and caring environment for her, that she will call home. The Reserve at Greenbrier was suggested by Lynn Moore, who works with A place for Mom, who also worked with Joan to take care of my Mum. I cannot thank both of these ladies enough, they have absolutely improved my Mothers quality of life, and I am very grateful.

My partner Andr© and I just toured this amazing and beautiful place!! This is such a great place! So much to do, so many events, and just overall outstanding. Ms. Joan, the sales director, walked around and explained everything from top to bottom! She is a gem!! I am excited for my partner to move here! It will be perfect for him! Mr. Gene, was so accommodating, allowing us to tour his home, which by the way, was extremely nice! We were both elated with everything! In May of 2024, I brought my grandmother to The Reserve for a viewing of the complex. My grandmother was more than pleased and has been talking about our visit ever since. We were taken on the tour by Joan who has been super helpful during the process of getting my grandparents to move from from NC to VA. She has stayed in contact with me for almost a year while my grandmother thought about her decision to finally move. I really appreciate Joan and the way she reached out to me often which made me more active in influencing my grandmother to really consider moving to Virginia and to The Reserve. We recent started the process/paperwork and again, I can't say thank you enough to Joan who is making this transition as easy as possible.
