The management is not responsive nor communicative. They charge for items that are outside the contract that is signed. They say on their website that services are available through a third party; however, if your loved one needs any additional services, you would be better off keeping them in a private apartment. If your loved one is not lucky enough to be on the first floor, they may not be able to be evacuated during an emergency. Per the management of the facility - all residents should shelter in place in any emergency, including a fire. When I was told this, I asked if they had any plans with the fire department. The response I received was they did not have too because it was an independent living facility and not their job to get residents out in case of an emergency. If you love your family member, DO NOT let them live here.

At Hunters Pointe, my sister was met by a warm and friendly community and a caring, hard working staff. She appreciated that someone prepared her meals (breakfasts were the best!) and did the housekeeping, and was happy to have transportation available to take her to her appointments and for shopping. She enjoyed her use of the lovely common spaces. Due to health problems, she was unable to stay as long as she had hoped. Her family and I are grateful for the time she spent here.

I really enjoy living here!! Someone buys my food, prepares it and delivers it to my table. And where else can you get live entertainment where you live!! Lots of activities to keep busy. Come join me!!

My experience here with Managers and office staff and food serving staff/cleaning ladies has been wonderful they are so nice and polite and helpful. My complaint is in the food itself most always served barley warm and some of it isn't even worth eating. Maintence is so so. But all in all everyone is very friendly. So I gave 4 stars because of the food

My aunt has been residing at this establishment for several months now, and aside from the sales department, I have never met a member of management. The apartment itself is beautiful, and the staff is great. We absolutely love Home Instead,that has an office in the building would highly recommend them. With the amount of money we are spending each month, one would think that the management team would be rather antsy to be meeting as many family members as possible. I did phone down to the assistant general manager when my aunt first arrived and he was so unwilling to assist us in any manner that we opted to wait for the sales manager to return to work to ask for help. That one had to do with the heater in her room smelling like it was leaking gas. The next day, when I called, the sales manager was all over it and had it shut down within a couple of hours and the other heater up and running. Come to find out, this had been an ongoing issue with that heater. To this day, the heater has never been fixed. Just shut off.

Hunter's Pointe is a wonderful retirement community. My mom moved her recently and the staff are all incredibly friendly and they put the residents first, providing wonderful and genuine care. Businesses can build in a lot of things, but customer service and compassion are rare and shows the value of the team. Thank you for the wonderful support you are providing for my mom!

There were many great happenings at Hunters Pointe, given by Michelle Scott. She took her time and asked our feelings and we discussed backgrounds and she was glad we were considering Hunters Pointe. She showed us two different apartments and discussed the dining. My husbands eyes just lit up when he heard that. He said he doesnt want to move, but I think Michelle has him thinking. He did say there was not a bathtub in the apartments and that is what he lives for every day.
