Most of the staff are very polite and professional. Food on the otherhand served to residents is atrocious. 2 years running of complaints but nothing has gotten resolved. If the culinary experience could be brought to a higher level this would make for some top notch living for seniors.

Being apart of this community as a home care provider to a large percentage of their residents has been a rewarding experience! The staff is very welcoming and eager to make the place feel like home. uMatter Care Services, LLC has been apart of the Solstice Columbia Family for three years now! I love being at this community with these residents, families and the TEAM! The refresh that they have done in the community is so beautiful and there's such a cozy warm feeling here. What a lovely and caring facility. The people bent over backwards to help my aunt during her stay. It is a true independent living facility in beautiful, convenient location. They are renovating the building but are very considerate of the residents and visitors during the construction. The food was good, too.

I came from Michigan to visit my folks and check out Solstice Senior Center for the first time. The cleanliness and overall condition of the facility really impressed me. I especially enjoyed the tasty meals prepared by Frank the cook and they are mostly home made. Everyone was friendly and made me feel at home. Now that I know my folks live in a safe and comfortable environment I am a lot happier. I would recommend this senior community to anyone interested. Tena

I've been working here as the Vibrant Life Director for a little over a year now and have gotten myself a new family and made lots of friends. We love to have fun and come up with new things to do daily. Our team works good together and strives daily to make this a better home for our residents. Every community has its issues, but we work diligently to improve ours. I have the best job with the greatest group of residents. They constantly help me to improve our Vibrant Life program and myself as a person. I look forward to many years here and making this the best Vibrant Life Program a community like ours can have.

I have entertained at Solstice for years! While the facility was really nice and I am sure the residents were cared for, the management in charge, was always in a state of controlled chaos! So, you are probably wondering "so why a 5 star rating"? That's because this new regime of management have things he headed in the right direction! I NEVER saw management mingling with te residents with the old regime! With this new regime, the attitude totally different! When I entertain there now, it is common place, to see members of staff and management interacting with residents all during my performance! My business dealings with the old regime, was always just a mess! The new group has that smoothed out now! When I watch as I perform, I see. management and frontlne staff, genuinely "caring" about the residents as individuals! I believe with all my heart, that things will only get better! B.J. I am investigating for independent living and met Wendy at Solstice. She was very helpful and gave me an excellent tour of the facility. I must say I was impressed at her service and the condition of the place. I am seriously considering it for my wife and I.

I work for Solstice Senior Living and I have never heard of such things going on in one of our facilities. If this is true the directors would surely take care of it and it would be stopped immediately. But I can assure you that we have never had anything going on like you said in your statement. Solstice is a great place to work and we hold all our residents in high regard and take the best care of them.5 stars

I was trained at Solstice Senior Living at Columbia and was treated so kindly by all the employees and staff members that I can hardly believe this is true. The residents were so happy and well taken care of and I never heard not one complaint

Weve been here a year. It recently changed management from Boone Living to Solstice. Food has been upgraded and there are more changes to improve planned for the near future. We liked it when we moved in and it just keeps getting better. There is a residents committee that is a liaison between residents and management for both praise and concerns. There are wonderful management, residents, and activities in which you may elect to participate. Its in a very accessible location for shopping and medical services. My only concern is that there are only 3 handicap parking places. I need to see the residents committee...
