The Landing is now under new management Mr. Bill. Even though we are in a crisis with COVID 19, things are better than they have been for quite some time. We are a family here and we try to help each other. Not everyone is suited to this style of living. I have been here for 5 years, with the ups and downs of daily living I still find myself enjoying my independent living. The Sun is shining once again!Minta Bush

In response to Kenya B.s review: I have lived at the Landing at Behrman Place for over two years. The majority of my time here was under the previous executive director. She was totally unresponsive to any and all complaints. She NEVER told the residents or the family members of changes to policy or procedures. You would wake up and find common areas rearranged without warning and your mobility restricted without warning. She didnt give any concern to safety and security. This all changed since the new executive director took charge. Where by the atmosphere was dark and gloomy, it is now bright and sunny. We now get weekly news letters of changes to policy and procedures. I have been here under two COVID-19 lockdowns and by far the last one, under the new executive director, was run much better. By no means do I imply that there isnt room for improvement. I believe there is a possibility of achieving reasonable improvements. The current executive director does a great job of balancing the needs of those who are fully independent and those that require assistance, under CDC COVID-19 rules and guidelines. Community living is not for every senior. Family members must take that into consideration when their senior needs to moved to one.

My mother in law was there for a year and it was so peaceful for her. Her food was delivered with a smile daily. I would certainly consider staying there when I get to that point in my life!!

Moved my dad in a month ago. This place is absolutely perfect. The entire staff is extremely friendly, efficient courteous and welcoming. The food is amazing and very nice accommodations.

Beautiful place, good food, and daily activities make Behrman place so special. My mother in law has been treated so well and loves her room. If you look in the lamp posts in front of the place, there are spiky little brown widow spider eggs in there. I told staff at least ten times over the years.
