My loved one is living with others that do not have her memory issues and it lights her up. Others care for her and called her friend. This is so important. We are able to provide her assistance regularly so that she can live with others.

I was looking for place for my dad, who’s relocating from Az. And I visited Bear Canyon Estates, Anna was very helpful and kind, she explained everything and gave me a tour. Anna stayed in contact with me, I brought my dad to take a look and get a feel for the place. He was very impressed and said everyone is so nice and helpful so he will make it his new home. I got a good feeling from the first day I talked with Anna, now I know why. Thank you Anna for making transition go smoothly!!

We went for a tour at Bear Canyon Estate and we were impressed with how friendly we found everyone. The facility had everything I was looking for. The atmosphere of the residents made me feel like I was at home. I want to thank Anna and Patrick for a wonderful tour. I hope to see them soon!

My Mom recently moved to Bear Canyon Estates. We have been very pleased with our experience so far. From the initial meeting with Anna who showed us apartments, to the business manager Trish, the activities coordinator Tammy to her housekeeper Amanda and the General Manager Patrick-the entire staff has been exceptional. They have attended to all her needs, made her feel welcome and safe. One of my primary reasons for choosing Bear Canyon for my Mom was the seriousness with which they approached Covid. Patrick facilitated the vaccinations of all the residents and staff. When I went to another popular Independent Living location, I learned that the residents were trying to secure vaccinations on their own, their dining room was closed and the activities were very limited.During her quarantine period, my Mom has been served all her meals in her room. The food is very good and they have accommodated her dietary restrictions. Now that she is free to enjoy dining with the other residents and participating in the various activities, I think she will enjoy living here even more.

I was going with a new resident to pick up his keys and check out his place. He got one of the cottages and it is so cute. It even has covered parking he really like too. I am sure I will have the opportunity to eat in the dining room with my friend which he says is pretty good as they treated him to a lunch when he was looking around. He said the food was pretty good.

I have known 4 different households that have retired to live at Bear Canyon Estates over the last 6 years. They have all enjoyed living there and renewed their apartment lease agreements month after month. The variety of food service is excellent. The staff is attentive and well organized. The place is clean, safe and lots of social activities are offerred for residents to have fun.

This is a nice facility. Kitchen does not seem to be efficiently ran and it is SLOW to put it mildly. Even when there are few residents you are looking at an hour and a half to get a meal and eat it. Ran out of canned pears. Cant open another one? Ran out of french toast so had to cook more to fill orders. I have experienced this with every meal. Short handed but apparently not replacing anyone. Otherwise nice place.

We looked at a lot of places for my father. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean and they have activities going all the time. They have shuttle's to take the residents where they need to go. The food is excellent and they take into consideration health issues ( Diabetes) and will service dishes that are sugar free. They are also pet friendly. I would recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one that is independent but can use some help and wants some socialization.
