This is the third place I have lived, and it is far and away the best. The staff here is wonderful, and they all help each other to keep me happy. There is always something on the menu I like. There is a beauty and barber shop. Laundry facilities are free and well-maintained. Our activity director does a great job, including daily exercise classes. The building is impeccably maintained, and the management is always accessible and responsive.

The Holiday Springs has great amenities and activities to do throughout the day. It is pet friendly, and a good group of people! The staff is very Friendly and helpful in many ways! Lots of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants around the facility as well, which is awesome!

I have lived at several senior facilities in Escondido. Each of them has its "pluses and minuses." Likewise with the Springs. Overall, in my experience, the Springs rates higher than the rest. And the rent is very competitive. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the amenities are all that I need. For my needs the location is right. I don't drive. There are 2 North County Transit District bus stops within 1/2 block. With a bus pass I can go anywhere I need to go - even downtown San Diego, for CHEAP.

Mom is so happy with this place! The staff is friendly, helpful and always running around to help each other. Mom loves the daily exercise classes and other activities. They have three fresh meals a day in the dining room, weekly maid service and transportation available to appointments. The building and grounds are cheerful, clean and well maintained. We were pleasantly shocked at how affordable it is for a one bedroom, which is plenty of space for one person. I honestly can’t say enough about it.

My dad has lived at The Springs for over 8 years and really likes it. The staff are very helpful and kind. He likes the different activities they offer and the friends he has made. He also likes they offer a couple menu choices with each meal.

I thought I would share a quick review of my experience living here at the SPRINGS OF ESCONDIDOI have lived here the longest of any resident. Just over 10 years. I have gone through many health crisis and have always felt SAFE HERE. I have met and cherish great friends that I dine with and enjoy the activities, and I even lead an activity as well. I would never leave here. We have the best management team since I’ve lived here. Thank you , Kristy Myers

The food has evolved so much since chef Marina has arrived. The residents are very happy! Activities are doing well and they have an amazing resident ambassador program here! Kendall does a great job at being the engage life coordinator. Come see for yourself!

Wonderful facility, the food is outstanding. Very clean! Our friend lives here but unfortunately he needs more care and will be moving out. David Sharp and all the staff have been wonderful in trying to help our friend, which we very much appreciate. We've often said we would love to live here when we get a little older. They go above and beyond!

If you are comfortable in your own skin, you'll be comfortable at the Holiday in general. We are going thru growing pains, but there's always laughter at the end of the day. Music, movies, popcorn, card games, Wii bowling, walking club, book club, religious affiliations meetings of your choice, healing, prayer, getting your steps in for your health, outdoor fireplace and chilling by the light of the moon are all great fun times. And.... We all try to help one another. Laundry on each floor is clean and a delight to visit. The staff is pleasant and easy to approach.

This place and the staff are great. As a veteran I was visiting a WWII veteran and spending the day here and building a robot with him. The facilities were awesome, the prepared activities seemed to really make the residents happy. I would feel comfortable having my mother stay here.

Lovely staff. Christina is a doll and treats everyone so sweet and professional. Kathy and Russel are the best the dining room is so nicely decorated I want to live there! They had entertainment for the residents with a belly dancer was so much fun!

This is a senior living complex. After visiting friends for a few days I decided this is not someplace I would want to live. The food service staff is pleasant. Most of the staff I interacted seemed to be caring. The individual apartments are of decent size and comparable priced to simular facilities. Downside of things: There are many rules and regulations. Dining hours are very limited and there is no consideration for special dietary restrictions. (There are some snacks available 24 hours) Laundry hours are limited as staff also uses the same machines, only 2 of 3 washers & 2 of 3 dryers worked on the level we we're on. You pay for basic housekeeping as part of the contract but staff doesn't have time to provide the services they are contracted for. Basic maintenance needs may also go untended to for months. There is a weekly list of activities & outings, but no regularly available transportation for shopping and appointments.

They remodeled the place and it looks great!! The staff all seems very nice! I will get some more insight regarding the facility, employee's and food and I will post pics of the new remodel. So far it has been a great place that even got better with the recent remodel!

I visited this facility to Notarize a document for one of the residents. The halls and public areas are nice and clean. Though small, the apartment I visited is quite adequate especially if the resident is taking advantage of the dining service. When I was there (3pm) there were very few folks walking around or resting in the public areas. The resident I visited said that he was quite satisfied with the service and facility except that at 65, he thinks he is the youngest man here. Perhaps his stay is not so bad because it is temporary.
