I have been a resident at Brookdale - Tamarac Square for the past 18 months. My needs for independent living have been full-filled very well. This is the result of the Executive Director "Ms. Virginia Trujillo's" hands-on approach, professionalism and confidentiality in management style as well as having a dedicated staff. I have been in corporate management during my entire working years, but I have never had to handle so many different functions as Ms. Trujillo. These include Sales & Rentals; Maintenance; House Keeping; Transportation; Reception; and Security of facility and residents (Approximately 180 elderly and ill people that are very set in their ways). The only way to keep all loose ends under control is by "LOVE for the JOB", and this Ms. Trujillo HAS !

Brookdale Tamarac has been Amazing !! The Director Virginia has been so Wonderful!! My mother loved Brookdale and was so happy to be there. My mother loved the great meals that were provided and enjoyed eating with the Beautiful Ladies she met there. Unfortunately she was only there a short time before she passed away. I can't describe the Love and Kindness that was shown to me by Virginia. I would receive text 's from her checking on my mother and me. She was so supportive and understanding!! I don't know how I would have gotten through this difficult time without her. If you're looking for a great place to retire or looking for a family member this is the place. They don't just talk the talk they walk the talk! These days it is so hard to find a place for our elderly where they are SAFE, and have a place where they are respected and loved!! We moved my 80 year old dad to Brookdale Tamarac a month ago. We have been so impressed with the staff. Everyone is so helpful, cheerful and welcoming. My Dad felt very welcome with the residents too. They immediately took him under their wing to show him around. People are always asking him to join them for meals. Which has been great since he didn't know anyone at Brookdale. There are lots of events my dad has been invited to. We love all the perks living here too. The Shuttle services to appointments or to grocery shopping has been wonderful. So happy he's making friends there. He REALLY loved the food with the old chef. The NEW CHEF stinks!!!! We are truly blessed to have found such a wonderful facility. They just need to IMPROVE on the food!!!! But We love seeing my Dad so happy and adjusting so well.

I have lived at Brookdale Tamarac for 12 years. I came to Denver from Florida due to some health issues and this is where my family lives and I wanted to be closer to them. Brookdale was warm and welcoming from the very beginning of my journey. My apartment is lovely and comfortable. When I needed some help, they were right there. Until very recently I continued to drive. Now I can't. The staff was right there to provide transportation. Brookdale has always been there to help me get what I need. I have tried to live independently here, but when I need help, they are here for me. Debby

Once my wife and I retired, we discussed Independent Living as a place to live. In particular the all-inclusive aspects. Our primary focus was on the feel of each place we toured I.e. did the facility have a family feeling or did you feel like a number. Other Independent living facilities were nice, but Brookdale Tamarac Square stood out. The building is not too small or too big. Most residents know each other’s name, and the apartments tend to have larger square footage with large closets. I urge everyone who is considering independent living, to look closely to Brookdale Tamarac Square. Finally, my wife and I have been living at Brookdale Tamarac Square for the last 6 months and are very happy. We are fulfilling all those things we wanted to do in retirement.

Our company Moves With a Heart has helped numerous happy clients move into Brookdale Tamarac Square. I'm impressed with the caring staff and welcoming environment! On move in day, representatives from different departments (dining, activities, etc.) make it a point to visit and welcome thier new resident. My parents 89 and 90 have been at Brookdale Tamarac for quite a while now. The staff is amazing, from the Director Virginia, front desk, all the managers all the way to the kitchen and cleaning staff all efficient kind and always there when you need them. I can’t say enough for every aspect of living at Brookdale. My 90 yr old Dad fell and was taken by ambulance where he spent 12 days in the hospital then to rehab for another 3 weeks. This staff surrounded my Mom with compassion and support making sure she was good, after 69 years of marriage she really needed this and she sure got it at Brookdale. Can’t recommend Brookdale Tamarac enough if you need a great place to live.

My dad had a fall a couple of weeks ago, and the staff at Brookdale Tamarac were AMAZING!! They coordinated the ambulance and helped my mother adjust to life without him while he was in the hospital. I was especially impressed with Tori, who managed to get a landline hooked up in the room that my mother could use, and with Ebony, the front desk person who managed the emergency care. Whenever I've had a question or needed to arrange a new service, Virginia (the manager) has been super helpful and friendly. They really treat the residents here like family. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Virginia and all her staff are beyond caring!! They great and treat everyone, including family members, like family. Dad is in the best place possible. They really make him feel cared and loved. Did I mention the food? Chef experience eating is beyond the best. Housekeeping crew is over the top...cleaning and changing sheets once a week. Response to any maintenance items are fast!! John and I love coming to visit Dad multiple times a week. Always bustling and feels like a super wonderful hotel. Check us in please!!! (Not old enough yet, darn it!) Staff is professional & caring. They are all upbeat & ready to help wherever it's needed. Brookdale has a busy activity calendar, movies & outings. If you can sing there is a wonderful choir. Apartments are adequate size with plenty of storage. A variety of balanced meals are provided. They also offer a side menu for those not wanting a full meal.We love it here!

My wife and I moved to Brookdale Tamarack two years ago at the urging of our daughter. We had lived in two independent living establishments in Greeley, CO and one in Loveland, CO and were running out of options as to availability of services. We visited Brookdale Tamarak and were pleased with the services and accommodations so we moved here. It has fully lived up to its promises.

I love, love, love Brookdale Tamarac Square! It's a beautiful facility. The staff is very welcoming and caring and each staff member I've dealt with has offered great customer/resident service. The residents appear happy. There's a nice sense of community inside. I love the restaurant style dining and the food was excellent! While the building itself may be old, it is very clean. I love the small store inside as well as the nail and hair salon inside. Brookdale offers alot of activities for their residents. There is a staff member at the front desk 24/7 (yes, overnight too!) which I really appreciate. I toured 3 facilities total and this one very much surpassed the other two. My dad is moving here and I couldn't be happier as I think he will very much enjoy living here!
