We were greeted at the door and shown great compassion and thro us during our visit. The tour was very complete and throw and the extra available services are going to be a godsend to my family.

New ownership has not been a plus. Food quality has gone down and they no longer offer protein with breakfast. We would not recommend. There are better options for your money. The only reason we don't move my father is the other residents which are his friends.

It has been CONFIRMED!! Lakeview at Josey Ranch is the place for my Mom. Oftentimes, even after conducting diligent research, performing site visits and checking reviews, Senior Living Facilities are difficult to gauge as to being a suitable place for family members. However, after 5 months of seeing my 84 year old mother making new friends, appreciating the Chef prepared food, enjoying her space with her kitty and literally thriving with all of the activities provided, we are confident we picked the right place for her. This is not just a second hand observation either. My wife and I had the opportunity to take advantage of their hospitality (visitor) suite for several weeks. We were able to get to know the staff and see how well the facility is run on a personal level. From the maintenance an office personnel to the dining/kitchen staff, everyone is personable and above all, caring in their interaction with all of the residents. Again, Lakeview at Josey Ranch is CONFIRMED to be the place for my Mom

What an amazing place. We are becoming part of the Josey Ranch experience on June 30th. Britton was such a welcoming force and so was Becky. I immediately felt at home. Their gracious welcoming spirit put me immediately at ease. The lunch we shared was fine dining at its best. Chef Leroy sincerely cares about his plating, presentation, and his culinary expertise. My husband and I are excited to call this our new home.

I am the owner of a caregiver agency.my caregivers and I are in this establishment on a regular basis. Being in tge industry we are in many places and I am honestly impressed. Not only is tge building and decor appealing, there is honestly an overall feeling of "community " with the residents as well as the staff members. I have witnessed staff members drop what they are doing to take time to listen to the residents. This may be the most supportive and encouraging community I have had the privilege to be a part of. Not only would I recommend this location to my clients and loved ones but I would live here !!

I just moved my dad in, and every bit of this difficult time has been made easier by this wonderful facility. My father was not excited to move to an apartment after losing his home to a fire, but once he saw this amazing facility, he changed his mind. The property is gorgeous from the elegant and inviting decor to the gorgeous landscaping. His apartment is warm, honey, with gorgeous touches, like marble counters, dark wood cabinets, beautiful laminate flooring and EASILY the best kitchens I've ever seen in senior living, with beautiful woodwork, custom backsplash and my favorite ” a kitchen window! Oh, and did I mention that about 20 feet from his patio is a lovely Lake with a fountain? Or that the lake is just part of a surrounding system of parks and recreation areas, and just on the other side is a senior center and library? But the staff there is truly amazing ” especially executive director Janelle who patiently answered every question and listened to dads stories (with genuine interest, I might add), and had a beautiful new tacklebox waiting on the counter when he moved in. I feel lucky to have here and the rest of the staff there to get my dad back into the swing of life!

From the first time I entered Lakeview to the end of my visit I was blown away by the view, the food (95% is prepared by scratch), the resident focused staff and, the most important item was a culinary treat when I left the building. The Executive Director, Jeanell Fitzpatrick, had remembered that I cannot eat chocolate and sent me home with my favorite dessert - a small Lemon Merigue pie!! This was definitely a lasting impression.

I love this property! Me and my mom did a tour, and I absolutely LOVE this place for her. The staff was friendly and Jeanell, I believe the executive director did our tour. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! So friendly, definitely the epitome of southern charm and professionalism! She showed us the entire property and I wish I could have moved here myself. My mom moved in and I feel good knowing that she will be safe, and loves her new place! She’s been here for a few months now and she still loves it, and has even made friends in the community. The staff have been helpful to her while I live out of state. I can rest at night knowing she is safe and enjoying her retirement. I highly recommend this community, it’s so hard to find a great place in DFW but we found this place and we are truly happy with it. Thank you to Jeanell and the entire staff, from Vanessa and mom..xoxoxo 🙂

I have helped many people move into Lakeview at Josey Ranch and everyone has loved the community. Some of the things I have heard is how beautiful the view is, how wonderful the food is and how friendly the staff and residents are. I can say with firsthand experience that all of that is true. The apartments are beautifully decorated, and the view is amazing. If you get the opportunity to have lunch, I recommend the salmon. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

My two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law are moving into Lakeview, and I toured the property with them. It's an outstanding facility with a beautiful west facing view of a lake and the Carrollton Library. Lakeview also has It's own in-house large library. I was impressed.

Lakeview at Josey Ranch will be my parents’ third senior community and I really feel like the third time is the charm. All of the staff, especially Stephanie Duke and the executive director Robbie, have made us feel so welcome and at home. I’ve eaten two meals with my parents here and to see the looks on their faces when they actually like what they are eating plus have the ability for more flexible dining hours is just amazing. The staff has been incredibly responsive to inquiries, the lease was easy to read and the speed at which they have helped my parents be ready for their move in is amazing. I would strongly recommend anyone searching for senior independent living to take a tour at Lakeview!!!

My mother moved into Lakeview in the fall of 2009 and moved out September of 2020. This facility is lovely and they work hard to provide activities and meal experiences even during the pandemic. My mother was in at least 3 different floor plan apartments and all of them definitely suited her needs. The staff is professional, courteous and friendly. The residents are happy and safe. I would recommend this facility if you are looking for an independent living community.

My grandfather, mom, dad and I toured this facility last week, and we really loved it. It was a great property, it’s nice being by the water and the walking trail. We had dinner, and the food was one of the best of all the places we have toured. When my grandfather came home he said This place is too good to be true In a nice way, I could tell he was relieved that there were good places out there. Gerry was great and answered all of our questions. Of the places Josey stood out and Gerry was able to offer a great rate of just $2300 a month *with a $10,000 community fee option you save $500 on rent, so you earn back the deposit through the discounted monthly rent price. My grandfather plans to stay for as many years possible so we are happy with the deal. He is still deciding on which independent living community to join, but the family is really hoping he chooses Lakeview. Will post an update if he does end up choosing it.

Lovely senior living. The staff is always friendly and works hard to keep my relative happy. They have daily activities and exercises, and even a theater for movies. The walking area around the ponds is nice too.

My Mom is a charter resident at Lakeview and was very happy there the first year. Unfortunately, the management (which seems to keep changing) continues to put more restrictions on the residents. 30 meals a month are included in the rent and my Mom rarely uses them all. We used to be able to eat there with her and it counted towards her 30 meals. Now, they decided to start charging $12/meal per guest even though she loses 10-15 meals a month. Also, they started charging $50/month for parking. I'm very disappointed in this place and would not recommend it.
