I have had the pleasure of attending a few amazing events at the Princess Martha. The place is beautiful It is so rad I wish they would lower the age limits so I could move in. Beautiful historic St Pete building, awesome food, and even better is the Staff. Maggie Brazill hosts so many exciting events, and all the residents LOVE her which tells me everything I need to know. I’ve had to opportunity to visit the Princess Martha and meet some of the residents through community events! It is a beautiful building with such rich history. Maggie goes above and beyond for the residents there. She does an amazing job bringing creative, fun events for both the residents and involves the local community! I recently had the pleasure of attending one of the resident events at The Princess Martha, and I left incredibly impressed. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and ideally located in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, with easy access to parks, restaurants, and shops. The second-floor pool area is fantastic and thoughtfully designed for residents to enjoy. What truly sets The Princess Martha apart, though, are the people. Maggie Brazill is an absolute ray of sunshine. She lights up every room she walks into, and her passion for the residents is impossible to miss. Maggie & Wendy bring so much joy to their residents, and they can definitely throw a great party! I actually attended a happy hour at The Princess Martha years ago, and it was so much fun. Everyone was dancing and genuinely enjoying themselves. The history of The Princess Martha is really cool, too. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful, and if I lived there, I’d be out on the pool deck every day! Even though I didn’t get to see the recent jazz band performances in person, I saw videos on social media, and the Pride drag show looked amazing. I would absolutely recommend The Princess Martha to my loved ones and friends. The downtown St. Pete location is a huge perk, too!

Maggie Brazill is definitely a great part of the Princess Martha. It doesn’t take long seeing just how much the residents adore her. As I spoke to many of the residents following the Pride event, her name was always mentioned with positivity and love. She is truly a big asset to this great community.

The Princess Martha is an amazing part of St. Petersburg's history. It's sitting right in the middle of downtown, and most people don't even know it's there. This independent living retirement community, is nothing like anything you've ever seen. It's a beautiful historic hotel, where Babe allegedly Ruth signed one of his baseball contracts, walking distance to everything in downtown St. Pete, with a rooftop pool, and three meals a day served in the historic ballroom. Maggie Brazill has done an amazing job of opening this up to the community and hosting numerous community events so that we have a chance to mix, mingle, and learn from the residents who have varied and vast life experiences. This is a one of a kind experience and unlike any retirement home I've ever set foot in before. If you want a unique experience and want to live or have a loved one who wants to live in an independent and vibrant community, contact Maggie for a tour. There is a rumor that they also allow vacation stays for short periods of time, and you might be able to book it even if you're less than 55 years old, opening up extraordinary experience for friends and family who come visit St. Pete. If you haven't been to the Princess Martha, you need to find an event or book a tour with Maggie, if only check it out just for the history. Of course, you can also live in this St. Pete gem, too.

Maggie B makes the Princess Martha sparkle with her energy and caring for the residents. Their historic building has hosted hundreds of events over the years and every time I visit I feel the love and community that’s been created there. I am not quite ready for retirement living but whenever I visit I daydream about moving in and what fun it would be to have my Golden Years spent with new friends and exploring more of downtown St.Pete. I hope all your aging loved ones get the opportunity to reside at this amazing property. Just remember to leave one room for me.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph an event at Princess Martha, and I came away genuinely impressed. The first thing that stood out was how joyful and engaged the residents were. There was a real sense of community and support throughout the building. Just as impressive was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. That kind of positive culture says a lot about an organization and creates an environment where residents can truly thrive. Had the opportunity to attend an open house this year and was very impressed by the Princess Martha Assisted living facility. It is located ideally close to downtown St. Petersburg. Walkable to restaurants, some shops and the local parks. The in-ground pool on the second level was amazing and well equipped for the senior residents to enjoy. Also had an opportunity to attend one of many functions (Kentucky Derby Day) that Maggie and Wendy coordinated and managed. They are both so energetic and creative and caring for all the residents.Decorations, munchies and beverages are often provided for daily events. I spoke with many of the residents and they had such good things to say about their living experiences and they just love Maggie and Wendy’s enthusiasm to keep everyone active and happy.

Wow! My mother and I recently visited The Princess Martha after she mentioned that a friend of hers had moved there. I had noticed during my last visit that she wasn’t quite as active or social as she had been a few months earlier, so we had started discussing independent living communities. I called to schedule a tour, and Wendy was kind enough to invite us for lunch as well. Mom and I toured the community with Wendy and Maggie, and we had the opportunity to share lunch with several residents. Everyone was smiling, active, engaged, and clearly enjoying themselves. Maggie shared so many wonderful photos of the outings and activities happening at The Princess Martha, and it was obvious how much care and effort goes into creating such a vibrant community. By the end of our visit, my mother was genuinely excited. She’s now ready to put her house on the market and move in as soon as it sells! Thank you, Wendy and Maggie, for spending so much time with us, answering all of our questions, and helping my mother feel completely comfortable and welcomed. The Princess Martha is a truly iconic place in downtown St. Petersburg ” a beautifully preserved historic building that’s been part of our city for over a century, originally opening as a grand hotel in 1924 and now offering elegant 55+ independent living with all-inclusive lifestyle options. The timeless charm of its architecture, gracious common spaces, and rich history make it special to see around town. I absolutely love spotting the van out and about ” it always reminds me of the vibrant community and active lifestyle here. A wonderful and beloved local treasure!

I have been at the princess martha for over 5yrs and still love it as much today as when I first moved in. The staff are very nice and helpful and the food is delicious! I eat much better than I would be eating on my own. The residents all get along and enjoy the many scheduled activities. My apartment gets cleaned and we have happy hour every Friday with live entertainment - what's not to LOVE!!

what an amazing place the Princess Martha, fit for Kings and Queens, the staff is wonderful and the food is out of this world! The dining room is just absolutely magnificant!!! What a wonderful place to visit and check things out, you"ll definately want to live there! The residents are all so wonderful they are always happy and smiling and make you feel at home too! The Administrater Brook Lootens is an awesome administrater and makes sure that everything is done to perfection as well and has been with the company for a great many years and she runs the Princess like a true champion, just a wonderful woman! We visited a family member while vacationing in Florida. The building was beautiful. I was pleased to see the calendar full of activities 7 days a week. The Princess Martha is a beautifully renovated 1924 historic hotel, now converted into an elegant independent senior living community in the heart of sunny downtown St. Petersburg, Fl. The Princess Martha offers a wide array of amenities, activities, events and services to promote a comfortable, healthy, active lifestyle. Our staff and residents are kind, friendly, helpful and engaged. With about 100 residents we are large enough to maintain individual autonomy and small enough to be a close knit group. Just 4 short blocks east takes you to lovely Tampa Bay and our magnificent new pier. Just to our northwest is scenic Mirror Lake. We are surrounded by a plethora of quiant shops and restaurants as well as two major chain grocery stores and a pharmacy. We have two close by hospitals. A library, senior center, colleges, museums, an opera house, a symphony hall, numerous live theather venues and a movie house, plus the Tampa Bay Rays Tropicana Field are all nearby with free public transit trolley service to take you where you want to go downtown. The Princess Martha, also has it's own bus for shopping, excursions and doctor appointment. Low fee PSTA, public transit, is, also nearby to get you just about anywhere in Pinellas County. They also, offer car and wheelchair van service for those that are elderly or disabled. Come and stay for a complimentary guest visit and soon you will want to return as a permanent resident. The Princess Martha really is the place you want to be.

My mom had been there for several years, unfortunately her health deteriorated and is now in an alf. The Princess Martha was recently taken over by another company. The previous ownership group was fine and provided a great experience for the people living there. It is an independent living facility and have some medical resources available if needed. It is a wonderful old building with furniture that dates back many years. The apartments are fairly large and the location is great for those who like to live in a downtown location.

The Princess Martha is one of the most beautiful communities I have seen. Impressed with each staff member from Maintenance, Housekeeping, Transportation, the three meals a day by the Chef and his team.... the list goes on. This is a very active community! One 83 year old runs around the lake 3 times, each day. It's amazing to see. There are so many activities from in-house to the bus taking everyone to museums, the beach, etc. This is a very intellectual group of retirees. Not sure where the person before saw, but far from "lots of wheelchairs and walkers." They are a mixed group, but all independent and fun! What a beautifully kept building!
