My grandma recently moved into this independent living facility, and while the transition has had its own challenges, Vic and Zach made the process so much easier. They were incredibly helpful, always available to answer questions, guide my family through each step, and even helped arrange moving services. The facility is clean, well kept, and every staff member has been wonderful. Most importantly, my grandma is very happy there. She has been enjoying the meals, activities, and community. We're very grateful for the kindness and support shown to our family throughout this transition.

I’ve had the pleasure of occasionally volunteering in the craft room with Maggie Heeren. She is organized, enthusiastic and engaged with the residents and we have also enjoyed a rousing game of Bocce ball. Can’t wait to join in the spring and summer activities!

I came to Sugar Valley 6 weeks ago and it’s been one of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made! I’m a younger retiree and love the opportunities Sugar Valley provides for ALL the residents. My mom has been at Sugar Valley since April 2025. There have been ups and downs. Currently, Zack (the manager) is making great changes. He’s very receptive to feedback and is concerned about the quality of life for the residents. Thank you , Zack! Mom is also much happier with the food choices and quality. Yay to the kitchen staff! The front desk ladies are always very pleasant.

My mom has lived at Sugar Valley for over a year. Her billing had been messed up for quite sometime and I could not get answers as to why. Your business office lady Leann came in and within a couple of hours was able to figure out what the problem was and get it corrected. She has been a pleasant addition to the Sugar Valley family. Mom really enjoys living here and the staff is very pleasant. I highly recommend Sugar Valley to anyone who is looking for senior living.

My mother has lived at Sugar Valley for over 7 years. We are very happy and satisfied with the care and assistance she has received. The management and staff have always went the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable. We have enjoyed many meals with her and the food has always been very good. I would highly recommend Sugar Valley!

This place has become a total disappointment. My parent is not happy living here anymore mainly because of the food. They serve the worst meals you can imagine. A prisoner has a better selection than these poor people do. A new company has bought this place and totally screwed up the decor. The hallways look like a hospital. It's not a warm, welcoming facility anymore, like it used to be. We will be moving our parent out of this place as soon as we have the opportunity somewhere else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY.

Found the perfect place for my cousin. Very tasty and diverse food. Served by a great staff. Friendly residents much like a family and friends. Units are well manitained by regular housekeeping and prompt preventive mainance and service. It is impressive the positive life experince Silver Valley offers its residents. They encourage a well balanced opportunity to take part or lead in engaging community activies as well. I just hope when I need a place like this it will be there for me. Nothing but props to the staff at Sugar Valle Estates. Thank you!

I now have two relatives in Sugar Valley. My mother-in-law and a brother-in-law. They each have their own apartments, one for over three years and the other for almost 2 years. They are happy to be living at Sugar Valley. Before I moved them there, I researched, visited, inspected and talked to residents in 9 different facilities in Ft. Collins, Loveland, and Greeley and Sugar Valley came out on top and was one of the least expensive of all. It still is. However, Sugar Valley does not cheap out nor are they outrageously priced. Yes, ownership changed, not management. Construction takes time, especially remodels, I know because I’m a retired architect. The colors are not bland and barren, rather, they are calming and neutral. I was also a Senior Professional in Human Resource Management and I can tell you categorically, management “ Joice and John are very caring, positive individuals, who have been doing this kind of work for many years, and would not threaten residents who complain, in my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, good, bad or indifferent. Everyone is also entitled to ignore those same opinions.

The facility is beautiful. The rooms are nice. The staff is wonderful, BUT what happened to the food being served? I was shocked when I came for lunch with my mother and they served these very, very small portions of food. And many times they aren't allowed 2nds. So, I would take out the dining picture with the generous helping of food in it because that is simply not true. I know the facility was recently bought by a large corporation and that is when things began to change...not for the best interests of others.

My 80-something father-in-law (RIP) was invited here for a meeting with a fellow Korean War veteran; I was his escort. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, making sure we both felt at home. From the lobby to the Honor Wall to the library to the dining room -- lunch was great -- Sugar Valley is a wonderful place.

My mother lives here, the facility is very nice and well maintained. However, my mother has been very, very dissatisfied with the food, and she and many others have complained, and the food doesn't improve. For the price it cost to live here you really should receive much better.
