Man don't let the idea of age fool u…. This facility works hard to accommodate their tenants and if u wanna have real fun, older ppl know how to let loose and live!!!! My advice is go see how facilities like this honor and accommodate our elders and then join in the fun,…. Because honey,…… They simply live-live in the moments!

The staff is attentive to their Residents' needs. They provide residents with daily activities. Movies two times per week. Transportation four days a week. Residents are able to keep their mascots. Besides other services, there are monthly birthday ‚ celebrations with entertainment. Furthermore, there is a special Residents' appreciation dinner monthly

My mother has lived here for quite awhile, over 5 years I suspect. We gather here for holiday's for a meal, and the choices and speed of service, has steadily declined. I've seen people have to wait over an hour to be served the main course. I can remember mashed potatoes not even being a choice for Thanksgiving. Dessert being decided for you, no choice. They've made her clear the hallway outside her place of any decor, originality. Total decline, yet it becomes more and more expensive to live there every year. She's 89, deserves better.

I have lived at The Palms for over 9 years. It has been a home-away-from home for me. It will never be my beautiful house on Bora Drive here in La Mirada. But as a widow, I feel well taken care off. Did you know that for eight years I had my own garden in front of my apartment, where the residents could admire and "talk to the flowers". It has gotten too difficult for me to water and feed them anymore, but I still have a few plants surrounding my place. And it still is attracting a few people making the rounds at The Palms.

I have been working here for 28 years and i love it! Everytime I come in, i look forward to talking with the resisdents and their guests. Im happy with the managers and how they care and work. Especially Francsico, the community dog.

The facility needs an over haul. The cost of meals too expensive for something that shouldn't be served to well deserving adults in their later years. Or anyone for that matter. Some of the staff is delightful. Others could care less about doing their job well. Holiday needs to come in to make The Palms more inviting and welcoming of their residences and families and friends.

The Palms is a very nice Senior living apartments. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its nice and clean and smells clean. Free parking and handicapped access and parking and public restrooms. Everyone is friendly and polite.
