Loved the tour of the community, Dakota the Sales Director was great and so was Jason the ED. The community was very clean, the apartments are very modern, and they have full sized kitchens. I enjoy the new courtyards they added with lots of seating. We stayed for lunch and met some amazing residents, and the food was amazing, so many choices. Cannot wait to move my mom in when her house sells, highly recommend!

Kim gave us a tour and was SO nice. She answered all of our questions with patience and kindness. The residents and other staff we encountered were equally kind, and friendly. The facility was clean and had lots of activities and areas for Seniors to enjoy themselves.

We had a wonderful time at Chandler place today. My husband, pastor Jason Anderson of Hopewell PCA here in Rock Hill preaches there once a month. We just love the residents and love being part of their lives. I'm attaching a photo back from December when my daughter was home from college. She got to play a special song for them at Christmas time.

Just stopped by with my boyfriend to say hi to Grammy today (she wasn't there unfortunately). Just like every time I visit, the staff is wonderful. I can tell they really care for everyone there. Grammy loves it, and I couldn't be happier for her.

As a family member, I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and attention that I see between the staff and residents. My father has lived at Chandler for 6 months now, and he is finding more friends and activities weekly. I truly appreciate the physical therapy room and staff there who have helped him too. I'm so happy Dad is settled in and content with his new home.

Looked here for place (for the futurw) for 80 year old sister in law. It was very nice. The staff gave us a tour of both the independent living and assisted living facility and answered all of our questions. It will be one of the places tops on our lists for the future.

Chandler Place is amazing! We've recently moved my grandmother into Chandler Place after she was hospitalized for over a month. Chandler Place isn't only affordable, but the management and staff welcomed my grandmother with open arms, friendly faces, and a truly embrasive philosophy on elder care. When she first arrived, they had a sign in front of the registration desk all made up, welcoming my grandma. Additionally, they had an amazing little gift basket all ready for her. On top of all of that, each staff member individually introduced themselves to my grandmother, explained their duties, and reinforced that if she needed anything to not hesitate in letting them know. Her small one bedroom apartment is absolutely perfect! Although she feels that it's a little small, it affords her enough space for all of her truly memorable furnishings and items. The big windows offer amazing natural light, and allow for nice fresh air. As far as privacy goes, I've never heard a peep through the walls from the other apartments. The facility itself has an amazing restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner as well as an abundance of menu options each day. A library w/ an amazing fireplace, that I, as an avid reader, am quite jealous of. A home movie theater that's quite impressive. An amazing gym with updated fitness machines. All of which are in great shape. Again, I know I said this before about the library, but I'm uber jealous of this gym as well.Beautiful, and a plenty, common areas. At least three gorgeous outdoor courtyards with manicured fauna and flora. Then, last but not least, a wonderful cafe where the residents can always enjoy a snicky snack, company, and relaxation. Aside from the amenities, there are tons of activities, clubs, and outings, each and every day. It really is the equivalent of being on a cruise ship each and every day. Now that my grandmother is embarking on her third week, she's adjusting really well! I believe that the staff, with their knowledgeable, comforting, open arms, as well as the rest of the truly happy residents, have been the key to acclimating my skeptical and a bit paranoid, grandmother. As far as senior care goes, Senior Helpers have their own offices in the facility. They offer an abundance of affordable, à la carte care items that the family can choose from to meet the needs of their loved one. For example, I have them check on my grandmother three times a day to make sure that she's taking her medicine. If you've been searching for a place, like I was for weeks on end, stop and plan a tour here. You won't regret it!

We visited several independent and assisted living facilites in Charlotte, NC and also SC. We fell in love with the Chandler Place! Why? It is a clean, family-oriented and welcoming environment with very friendly staff and residents, and not to mention the activities they have for their residents! Their is a feeling of home and friendliness that really make this place special. We enjoyed meeting Kim Stephenson who gave us a great tour and during the time we were there, we spoke to many friendly people that just wanted to say hello and expressed how much they enjoy living there! We never felt rushed and Kim answered all our questions with patience and interest. This is definitely our first choice for our loving parent.

Have a realtive at Chandler Place and she is very unhappy with them. She stayed in her room for 10 days and no one on staff ever checked in on her. She receives no help from the staff except to deliver her meals when she orders them ahead. No one ever came to show her how to use her stove. She was not given the room she was shown to begine with. These people are predators who prey on the elderly for money. Do not place anyone here!! They should be closed down for malpractice.

It seems a pretty nice place, but beware even though every document brags about wi-fi/highspeed internet in the rooms, there is none. Seems like false advertising to me. Edit: After calling and in person several times and not getting anyone live, a mesh network was installed. As of July 2022, there is now WiFi at least in the first floor rooms.

Since my parents moved to Chandler Place in August 2021, I have been a regular visitor to their new home. I continue to be deeply inspired by the passion, commitment and genuine care of the entire Chandler Staff team. From the kitchen, maintenance and housekeeping staff to the transportation and activities teams (I'm certain there are more teams to mention here!), there is a common value of kindness and integrity at work to make the residents feel at home and to be comfortable in their independent living spaces. In addition, the Management team's care is exceptional. They are deeply involved to understand what the needs of the residents are and they work continuously to improve an already outstanding service. The recent remodel of the common areas was well designed and the finished spaces are beautiful and comfortable. The management team's professionalism really shone during Covid with frequent and transparent communications to the residents and their families, for which I am very grateful. My parents are so happy in their home. They love the environment, love the staff and love the food. I get so much joy when I visit, knowing they are in a caring, clean, hospitable and safe living environment which is also fun with plenty of activities to keep them busy. I can understand why they are so happy. There is always a welcoming smile and a conversation whenever they run into staff or management at Chandler Place. They feel the love they are receiving. I highly recommend Chandler Place.

My sister had a VERY positive experience at Chandler Place Independent Living, where our cousin still lives. Eula was typically there to greet us at the front desk as we came and left. Kermit is a great chef and there was a generous choice of foods. Josh Bigby (left to go to another facility), but he was the heartbeat of CPIL and was available 24, 7. Heather plans lots and lots of activities throughout the day and off-campus excursions, so that there is no fear of boredom. Kim may be in finance, but she is all heart and was the tipping point for my sister choosing CPIL. She is the real deal and you can trust whatever she tells you. At one point, I wound up needing to stay in my sisters 2nd bedroom for a few weeks, and the entire staff was SO kind and accommodating! CPIL is a nice balance of freedom and yet feeling protected. And who wouldnt want their weekly (light) room-cleaning service that is included with the base price??? If my sister and, or I ever need an independent living facility again, Chandler Place will be our choice!

The people at Brookdale Chandler are what makes this place! I am moving my mother across country and Joshua has made the experience less stressful for all of us. He made sure we got what we needed that fit within our budget. I am comforted to know my Mom will be surrounded by caring people and a great community!

The whole experience was extremely positive from beginning to end. Josh Bigby made us feel like close friends off the bat and never made us feel inferior for being new to the senior care life and answered our questions with knowledge and grace. He remained objective and even came in on a Saturday to talk things through with us. They go above and beyond to make sure the transition for the person in question (in this case my father) is as seamless as possible. They even set him up with a tenured resident to show him around the place and help get him acquainted. I am so thankful for Brookdale, Josh, and the whole crew that has been with us since the beginning!

Chandler Place is a special place with a special culture that is warm, friendly and welcoming.
