The physical facility is exceptional compared to most in the area. Most staff are great and the building contains caring and helpful support such as beauty shop and physical therapy. The business office is unprofessional and poorly run. It took months to begin using the ACH information we provided before we moved in and I was getting non payment notices on his door. A "manager" had me sign a transfer form to memory care and told me there would not be an upcharge because we had given notice to leave but I did not get it in writing so of course they billed after we left. When I asked them to review the process and find the "manager" who told me we were paid and owed nothing more I got the feeling this was not an uncommon scam to get a signature. Someone from "corporate" called me and offered a discount if I just paid but that was apparently never notated either. Takeaway is to get EVERYTHING in writing and be prepared to argue your case. My 4 rating is for the staff who tried to make this a good experience for someone who had a hard time adjusting. The business office overall would rate a 2.

My Mom is so happy! We are all very excited about Heritage Place. Every person we met were heart warming, inviting and attentive to the residence. We also shared a meal with Mom in the dining room. Excellent food presentation, taste and amazing customer service by the male server. I look forward to visiting again and investigation for an apartment for myself.

My mother has thrived in the community. I am slightly concerned to learn that they fired my favorite employee there. She was the go to person that I always used and she knew every resident by name, making sure she took good care and looked over all of them. Time will tell if I need to relocate my mother or not. The place could use some updates and more parking. The food is just okay and most of the staff has been very friendly. Again just bummed out that my favorite staff member is gone.

Having previously lived in a senior living facility, from the day of move-in it was quickly apparent the positive difference to be experienced at Heritage Place Senior Independent Living in Burleson. The high level of resident-focused attention begins at top management and extends to everyone on staff. Wow! What a great place. They exceed your expectations. Everyone who works here seems to have a true desire to make life better for you. I did not believe it was possible after experiencing some place wher they were awful, expensive and had no desire to do anything but put in their shifts The people feels the vibes and are happier and better adjusted to living a senior life. My parents are in their mid 80s. We knew the time had come to make a change from their big house to somewhere more convenient. I toured several places. One stood out. Heritage place, not because it was shiny and new, but because of the people. If there was such a thing as 20 stars I would give it to Nikki Bolden. The caring, and the openness with how she treated us was amazing in comparison to what I have seen out there. It’s obvious, that this isn’t just a job to her. She is passionate about her residents. It’s obvious that she cares about them as much as they do her. The facilities are immaculately clean, the food in their dining room smells amazing. I can attest to their baked goods. So good!! They have a wall to honor their veterans, a library, happy hour, gatherings, crafts, and so much more. I feel so comfortable with my parents going there and making this their new home. Thank you Nikki, you are a blessing to our family.

I have lived here going on 2 years, and I'm proud to call this home. The residents are like family and the staff is the best. It's kinda funny how things can change, 2 months ago this was a very nice place to call home, but not anymore. We have a new Executive Director and he does not care about the residents, he only cares about getting as much money from the residents as he can. So many residents are thinking about moving away as other options are more affordable. I have tried to call corporate to talk about the problems here but they do not return my phone calls. The current Executive Director tried to stop a marriage of 2 residents because he did not approve of the marriage. I could go on but this is enough for now.

My Mother has lived at Heritage Independent Living for 2-1/2 years, and it has been a blessing. Their Director, Madison, is a real gem. She focuses on the needs of the residents and making sure they are safe, comfortable, healthy, and have plenty of activities. The Regional Director, Jessie, is also very responsive and helpful. Ashley does a fabulous job of organizing a variety of activities. Becky, the Concierge, is an absolute joy at the Front Desk. She, along with Betty and Sherry, are the backbone of Heritage and genuinely care about the residents. They provide prompt and professional assistance. The cleaning staff, Dora and Carrissa, are the best, too, making sure the rooms and facilities are kept clean and the environment healthy. The maintenance crew, Johnny and Mark, have improved the facilities since working for Heritage. Mom has 3 good meals a day, with coffee, water, cookies/muffins available throughout the day. The Chef and dining room staff and kitchen staff work hard to offer good meals and even deliver meals to residents when needed due to illnesses. The location is excellent being next door to a hospital and doctors’ offices. The chapel on-site is a real plus! If you are looking to find a good place for your parents, I highly recommend Heritage Independent Living in Burleson, Texas.

We moved my mother in 3 months ago and have nothing but positives to say. The facility is being updated, dining services wonderful, programs and activities are well thought out and inclusive to everyone. Great Place ran by a great group of folks who know how to take care our elderly loved ones. Like most places, they could probably use an air freshener dropped into the AC system every once in a while 😉 but seriously though, the 'routine' and activities are loved by the residents.
