I was nervous at first of leaving my mother in a facility where I will not be in state for several reasons and when the executive director I was working with said they were resigning I almost hesitated. But then I kept my appointment and met Dianne and she put every single worry I had out the window! I could tell by speaking to her that she really not only really cared about making sure my mom was okay but also she also cared about my peace of mind and my level of communication I expect and even more! I can truly say now seeing the new leadership that is moving in the right direction that this is the right place for me to select as my moms home away from home and I am not worried at night anymore! Had the pleasure of coming here for the first time during a network event and tour. This place already has a 90% occupancy rate to! Secure Wi-Fi and easy access to services and meals Rides to anywhere in Pflugerville, Round Rock, and north Austin Events of all kinds. Many seniors moving here over 55 Plenty of parking and spotless clean. Was very impressed with professionals and kindness of staff. 🙂 Will more than likely be invited back for their 2nd floor meeting room for future events for networking and services for seniors

My mom was at Double Creek for the last year and recently passed away at the facility. The staff was integral in making her comfortable and happy, ensuring a high degree of support and service that gave us all the confidence to know she was well taken care of as none of her children are local. The connections they made were so deep, several staff members came by when they heard the news to offer their condolences and many cried and spoke of how much they loved her. We can't say enough good things about the facility and their amazing staff and recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and capable assisted living care solution.

She was cared for so well by the staff and she loved the activities and amazing meals every day. They truly live their motto of compassionate care. From their Executive Director to the care team to the housekeeping department, they truly get to know their residents on a personal level in order to anticipate their needs and provide personalized service on a daily basis. You will find residents engaged in a variety of activities that include outings, exercise, games to sharpen the brain, parties, entertainment and more. We know that when a patient of ours becomes a resident of theirs, that they will be cared for like family.

My mother was at this facility for two years. The place is always clean and the food is delicious. There are numerous activities for residents to participate, and the nursing staff is caring. Nursing staff is really good at calling you if there is something you need to know right away. The staff was also good at helping my mother connect with the family when there were telephone issues (ex: mother not charging the phone, inadvertently turning phone off, etc.). I don't give 5 stars to certain type of places; that is why they get 4 stars.

The team at DC really made what could've been a very stressful transition, into a warm "welcome home" Angie and Rene were on top of every detail leading and guiding us through the processes of moving into Assisted Living. It can be very difficult for someone to give up living an independent lifestyle in their own home, then to transition into an assisted living lifestyle . The team at DC have truly created a culture within their community that is inviting and encouraging to keep the residents engaged and active . Just in the short amount of time that my friend has lived at DC she has done more social activities there, than she has in the past years of living independently. Double Creek is full of caring staff from Wanda at the front desk to the staff that took care of my Mother in her room, took her to the dining room (pre-covid) and did her laundry. The dining facility is excellent. They have activities for the residents and they have a nice courtyard where they placed yellow rose bushes and a plaque in honor of my Mother because she was awarded the Yellow Rose of Texas by Governor Bill Clements in 1982 for her 36 years of PTA service. When covid hit and we were not allowed in the facility for a long time, we were still sent updates and pictures by the staff and phone call updates from the Hospice Nurse in charge of my mothers care. When my Mother passed away there were several staff that told us how much they loved her and will miss her. We would recommend this facility to anyones loved one.

We had my mother at the Round Rock facility for a little over a year. The staff was always encouraging her to engage in activities and eating in the dining area. She had been under hospice care with very caring and dedicated nurses, aids and chaplain. They would call and give us regular updates. Being in an assisted living facility, hospice could not stay 24, 7 but they did check on her several times a week. When we were with her on that last day, the hospice nurse was always checking on her and giving us reports on her condition. The staff at Double Creek checked on her all thru the day and also took very good care of the family during this very difficult time. I would highly recommend Double Creek to anyone who needs skilled assisted care.

My Aunt has been very happy living at the Double Creek Assisted Living facility in Round Rock, Tx. The staff has consistently been professional and caring. They have also been very responsive to any special requests and needs. She especially enjoys the food and the reliable good humor of the caregivers! Shes not real big on group activities, but has really enjoyed the ones shes been convinced to try, like book club, bingo and interactive musical performances. She told me shed be very happy to recommend Double Creek to any senior in need of assisted living!

My Mom and my Uncle just re-located here from Dallas. They live in the independent living cottages next door. James and Barbara are the nicest most caring individuals and treat my mom so well. Just like family. Lots of individual attention, which was helpful as my mom got adjusted to a new place. Both facilities are beautiful. Moms 2-bedroom, 2 bath cottage is so spacious and modern, full kitchen, stainless steel appliances. Cool activities and outings! And after touring several places in Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Georgetown, you wont find a better deal.

I moved my mom from another facility, to Double Creek Senior Living about 2.5 months ago. It was hard transition for my mom, but everyone has gone out of there way to make sure my mom feels truly at home. Nikki is amazing and went above and beyond helping us make the transition. Nikki is still very involved with my mom and cares about her well being. Typically at facilities once you have rented the room you move on. Not Nikki she checks on her clients, and the familys. She truly cares and wants to make sure your doing okay. Shilpa is amazing she is the director of the facility and it doesnt matter whats going on she will stop and address any needs for the residents. She is attentive and compassionate when it comes to your loved one. Shilpa has an open door policy and she is building a great community. She has personally helped me with different situations we were faced with when settling in. Its hard having to make the move to a Senior Living Community (AL) when it involves your parents. Trust me this isnt our first place but Im hoping its the last. I will tell you without hesitance. This place is amazing. Are they perfect? No, there is not a place thats perfect when your residents are elderly. However, they will address anything you throw their way. I would highly recommend Double Creek Senior Living to anyone. When you walk into this place, you might think youre entering a hotel!! Its very beautiful and clean. Theres no weird, funky smell or anything like that. Theres a piano that you or your loved ones can play. The facility plays music throughout the building that the residents enjoy hearing. This place has nice spacious rooms and you can ask for different room options for whatever you or your loved ones want. Additionally, the way the building and the rooms are set up provides privacy. The staff is very friendly and they work as a team. I noticed that they use walkie-talkies to communicate so that if one of the caregivers need assistance they can call for help instantly. You can contact the management at any time for questions or concerns regarding you or your loved ones stay because they will be more than happy to help you. The food they serve is delicious and its fresh and hot out of the kitchen. Honestly, the service equates to a five star hotel! They have different activities each day for you or your loved ones. For example, they have a huge art room, game room where you can paint or play different games. This facility also has a movie room! Its as if youre going to the movies because of their reclining seats and the screen is huge!! I think its a good atmosphere to be in. If youre looking for a place for yourself or your loved ones I urge to you give this place a chance.

My wife and I recently placed a family member, Linda, in Double Creek shortly after they opened. We were Lindas primary care givers and it finally got to the point that we were unable to meet her declining health and medical needs in our home. We visited another facility owned by Double Creeks ownership on the west side of Round Rock and were very impressed. Then we discovered the company was about to open a new facility very near our house. Double Creek has been a godsend for us and for Linda. The facility looks more like a luxury hotel or resort than a health care facility. I worked as a manager in the state agency that regulates health care facilities in Texas for almost 4 decades and can say unequivocally that Double Creek is among the best, if not the best, Ive ever seen. And the staff, from the executive director to the direct care staff, are all exceptional. The companys commitment to quality compassionate care is obvious. If you have a loved one that needs assisted living services or memory care services, you should give Double Creek serious consideration. We did and were glad that we did.

Double Creek has been a huge hit with my dad! My dad was in a small facility (residential home) for a year. Although he enjoyed the personal attention that comes with a small facility, the shared bathrooms and closeness of residents were somewhat difficult at times. Anyone can get tired of their own family if theyre around them 24, 7, 365 🙂 At first, I thought Id be dealing with the red tape of a large facility (as compared to his previous facility). I was completely wrong – it has been an absolute pleasure to work with Shilpa and Nikki. They have gone above and beyond, to make sure my dads care needs are not just met – but exceeded. From day one, my dad has thrived at Double Creek and it completely attributed to Shilpas and Nikkis leadership. They are building a solid team of caregivers who are very dedicated to serving the residents. Icing on the cake – we just celebrated my dads 80th birthday last week with a lot of family and new found friends. I have no doubt that we will be celebrating many more birthdays at Double Creek!
