Oak Pointe Monett has some wonderful, compassionate, and hard-working staff members that truly care for our loved ones. The facility is very nice and they work hard to maintain the beauty of the building and grounds. When my parents sold their home and moved to Oak Pointe, I was concerned about the transition but the staff and other residents were warm and welcoming . The staff and residents were compassionate and kind when my dad passed away and continue to be so with my mom. The leadership at Oak Pointe is receptive to family questions/concerns for their family members and work hard to put our minds at ease.

My Sister in law needed memory care. We tried to care for her at home but it became difficult for all of us. I was referred to Oak Pointe Monett assisted living facility by two reliable senior sources. When I contacted them they took us on a virtual tour because of covid 19. They became our saving grace, they made every effort, due to some special circumstances, to be able to place her. We are exceedingly happy with everything. Our Sister in law always has a smile on her face again. She has made friends, stays busy with activities. They have parties for all the holidays. She goes to the beauty parlor regularly. The food is amazing. Most importantly the staff treats her like family. I cannot say enough, to show my appreciation for Oak Pointe senior living. They are GREAT!

Oak Pointe of Monett is a very friendly and caring place. The facility is always clean and taken care of for the residence. I would refer this facility to anyone needing a place for a loved one to be treated with honor and respect.

My mom stays at Oak Pointe and for the most part, she is very happy there. The staff is very accommodating and do whatever they can most of the time to help. They need more CNAs, like most care facilities. They have beautiful rooms and community areas and manage to find exciting activities for the residents. My only complaint is the food. Elderly people should not have so much processed food and cheese should be on the side, not smothering most dishes. A lot of the residents are diabetic, and I don't see a whole lot of effort being made to cater (perhaps I mean force) these people to adhere to healthier diets; fewer carbs, less fat, less sodium and more fresh fruits and veggies, both uncooked and cooked. Mom tells me about what she eats and I'm like, OMG they're trying to kill you with food. For the money they charge, they should have a chef on staff preparing good food, not some local cook who only knows how to fry things and add cheese sauce.

Both my Mom and Dad have been Oak Pointe-Monett residents for over two years. During this time each of us six adult children, our own children and grandchildren and close family friends have visited them regularly at all times of day and days of the week and different seasons of the year. None of us has ever been disappointed in the compassion and care shown for our folks and every other resident that we have observed. The Oak Pointe-Monett staff is very responsive to resident needs and ensures that our primary family contacts are immediately kept informed of any unusual events related to our folks and the actions that have been taken to assist and care for them. The Staff is very competent in all areas of care and actively engaged with the residents as both caregivers and friends. Since we kids live in locations from Pennsylvania to Missouri to Texas to California with only one of us still in the immediate Monett area full-time, we are so grateful that a beautiful facility with kind staff and great meals and activities is available in the heart of America, our home area, for our parents.

My parents have been at Oak Pointe for over two years and I’ve visited with them several times there. The staff are concerned and caring for their well being consistently. Always having fun activities to keep them involved. The facility very well maintained. So thankful for Oak Pointe and all the staff!

My brother and sister suggested my parents move from their home in Monett to Oak Pointe. I was against it...because I thought of nursing homes and hated to think of my parents being old and needing care. I was totally wrong and freely admit it. Oak Pointe is independent living, but with help with medications and a community dining room. I am now very thankful my parents are at Oak Pointe. The staff is very caring. The meals are well prepared and nutritious. I am thankful my parents can live in such a kind and caring community.

The facility is clean, safe and new but it is the staff who turn it into a home. Lovely people who care and work as a team. They are gentle with the residents and incredibly helpful to the family. We are very grateful to Oak Pointe Monett.

This place is gorgeous. This Valentine’s Day was so decorated with hearts and balloons. They had Maddie the pup wearing a Valentine’s Day dress. All the residents love her it appeared. Staff was cheerful and helping residents with meal service. The DON there must have the patience of St. Mary. Very knowledgeable on all the residents that came by and spoke with her. Can’t wait for an opening.

Our parents moved to Oak Pointe of Monett about 2.5 years ago. At first we had some concern about how Mom and Dad would adjust to moving from their 4-bedroom/4-bathroom house to a 2-bedroom apartment. But, the adjustment was smooth. I think Mom has especially thrived at Oak Pointe. Oak Pointe has many common areas and we view all of Oak Pointe as their home, not just the apartment. The staff does an excellent job of caring-for/watching-after our parents. The staff is kind, attentive and helpful. The facility is well-maintained and gives you the feel of clean, well-cared-for environment. The meals are varied, well-prepared and presented in an appetizing manner. And, if Mom wants pancakes for dinner, she can have 'em--you don't have to take the featured entree at any meal. There are always activities for Mom and Dad to be involved with. I feel that Oak Pointe is a well-run organization--that begins at the top with the Executive Director and filters through the department heads and staff. Without fail, the Executive Director has always had a working knowledge of any issues facing our parents. I find the Oak Pointe staff is always willing to listen, they focus on solving problems, and are action-oriented. It has been a real blessing to all of us to have Mom and Dad at such a fine establishment--it gives us all Peace of Mind. In case you can't tell, I like Oak Pointe and it's staff..... a lot!

This is a lovely Assisted Living facility in the heart of the 4 corners area of SW Missouri. There are frequent activities, and the residents are typically wreathed in smiles and seem really happy.
