We just moved my father to the memory care unit at the Grandview. He is so happy to be there. We are also very pleased with this move. Everyone has been so kind, friendly, and helpful. Dad raves about how sweet the staff is to him. He also mentions how much he loves the food. I sat with him tonight at dinner to visit and the food did look delicious! He loves his room. The place is pretty, clean, and has a thoughtful design. I especially love the outdoor setting where seniors in memory care can get some natural sunlight or enjoy the shaded deep porch while they watch the birds. They have many fun activities for the residents to enjoy.

We recently moved my mom from an independent living facility in Florida to the Grandview of Chisholm Trail and we could not be happier with this residence. Lou gave us a thorough tour, answered all of our questions and helped with many aspects to facilitate my mom's transition. My mom was welcomed with open arms and the staff went out of their way to help her meet other residents during her first days there. The residence is beautiful, clean and well run. The levels of care make sense and there are many services, including medication management, that are included in the monthly base rate. So far the staff members, from Rachel the executive director to Georgianna the wellness director to the support staff members have been friendly and welcoming. We are thrilled to have the Grandview as a residence for my mom.

The facility is clean and tastefully done. However, my friend is here and I worry about the care actually received...they charge extra for food delivery when a person can't get to the dining room and I was told they were frequently out of condiments (some bring their own to meals!), salt & pepper, even hamburger buns or butter! There does not seem to be meal consideration for diabetics, etc. They are slow to get medications set-up in a timely manner, which is dangerous. There does not seem to be enough staff and requests to them are slow in getting to the resident but they are pleasant. Transport help to wheel someone to the dining room or activities is slow. I'm concerned about my friend since they are paying dearly to live here and their needs are not being met as advertised.

The Grandview is a lovely community located just off Chisholm Trail. The common areas are beautiful and the apartments are quite large. All of the apartments offer a full sized refrigerator and a sink in the kitchenette and there is plenty of room in their bathroom. Residents enjoy a wonderful menu daily with many options. The Grandview has a tenured staff and I would be happy to recommend this community to any family I serve.

My mother has lived at The Grandview of Chisholm Trail for 2 years. She has received excellent care from all of the staff. Rachel has done an incredible job as Wellness Director and now as Manager of the Grandview. Her compassion, work ethic, and communication with staff and family members is outstanding. Stacie does an amazing job keeping all of the residents engaged in fun activities that are appropriate for their stage in life. She also has events that families and friends can come to. My mom was recently crowned queen of their Senior Senior Prom. Great fun was had by all! Jo Ann and Morgan do a terrific job communicating with families and guests visiting. Maria has the heart of an angel as she makes everyone feel loved and cared for in the Cottage memory care. The caregivers, nursing staff, maintenance department, cooking staff, and cleaning staff all do all that they can to make sure that the residents feel safe and cared for. I know that my mom is happy and content living at The Grandview, and I am pleased that my family made this choice.

The Grandview took such good care of my mom while she was there! We had to move her in a little bit of an emergency situation, with very little notice. The staff was so helpful during that stressful time, going above and beyond to get her moved in. (A BIG shout out to Levi and Rachel!) Every person that my mom encountered was kind and caring. Her room was spotless on move in and the whole facility is kept wonderfully clean. The attention to details throughout is very well done. When my mom had healed enough to go home, the staff was so excited for her but yet disappointed too; they really grew to love her and knew they would miss her. The atmosphere in the Grandview is so welcoming and the residents are so well cared for. I would move any family member in to live there!

My grandmother fell and broke her hip and was subsequently diagnosed with vascular dementia. The decision to place her in memory care was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever made. I toured what felt like every single facility and I was getting discouraged when a friend mentioned The Grandview. I knew almost instantly that this was the place for Grandma. While the facility is certainly beautiful, it was the attention to detail in memory care is what sold me. They have a station set up with different purses, scarves, hats etc. It seems like such a small thing, but it is just an example of the thought and care that went into designing an engaging environment for memory care. The staff genuinely care about my Grandma. The adjustment period was very difficult for all of us, but the caregivers and other staff made everything so much easier! They actually listen to her (and me!), provide comfort, goof off with her, sing with her, and you can tell that they have a real love and passion for taking care of people. There are good and bad things about any facility. Same with caregivers. But I am so happy to say that there is so much more good at The Grandview. I was an anxious mess when Grandma first moved in, and Nichol, the administrator, let me rant and rave and cry. She listened and never judged. She helped me find solutions and compromises. I couldn't have made it through all of this without her. So many of the caregivers are amazing, but the stand outs to me are, Trina, Honey, Maria, and Courtney. They have been on this journey with my Grandma and me since day one, and my Grandma calls them "My Girls". If you are looking for a new home for your loved one, I highly recommend The Grandview!

The Grandview at Chisolm Trail is a beautiful, clean, and conveniently located assisted living/memory care facility in southwest Fort Worth. Their team members - which include both an LVN and an RN, appear both knowledgeable and professional. And, they seem to genuinely care about their residents. As a bonus, the facility and its residents actively work to give back to the community. While I ultimately had to choose a skilled nursing facility for my loved one, I would recommend that families in need of this level of care take a close look at the Grandview!

Worst assisted (or lack thereof) living facility ever !! Avoid at all costs. My father was in this facility, and we had to move him to another place for his safety. Overnight staff were all asleep on the job (have pictures of them on couches) and my father kept falling out of bed trying to get up and use toliet. Place is pretty but don't be fooled. Management is the WORST.

My father was there, and he had the best care, he was treated like royalty the entire time he was there. It started with Kelly, she stayed late to help us get all the paperwork completed so we could get him admitted in the short time we presented her with. Staci treated my father like a king anytime she would transport him to one of his appointments. Stevenie was always helping us along the way, even the maintenance man, Manny was kind to us, they were always quick to respond with the best solution and doing whatever was necessary to make Grandview the best place to be. Everyone there, residents included loved the food, appreciated the staff, it was always a pleasant treat to stay and eat with him as we spoke with other residence that really loved this place. There were so many other employees that were there that always went above and beyond it was a blessing that we found this place.

Facility is beautiful, but care for loved ones in memory care is lacking. Tammy the activities director is wonderful, but management has no clue what is going on and how to resolve any issues that might arise. Upper management is not truthful and I feel its all about the mighty dollar and not about the care of the residents. I have so much to say, but the most important thing is not be deceived by the outward appearance. The meals did not see chef prepared and were served on styrofoam. There were many "chefs" that quit while our LO was a resident. Not to mention the staff walking out. No communication between management or staff. The right had did not know what the left hand was doing. So glad to be out of that place.

The staff at Grandview of Chisolm Trail were incredible at guiding my family through the process of moving our loved one to memory care. What could have been a completely overwhelming process was made easier with virtual tours, availability for our endless questions, and overall thoughtful guidance. I so appreciate that the medical and activities staff has spent quality time helping her through the adjustment of being in a new place, doing many activities such as art, making flower arrangements, dancing. I also love that they use the Sagely app for family members to check in and see what activities are available, as well as occasionally post photos of your loved one. Thank you Grandview for helping with the process and for our loved ones exceptional care.

I am a nurse that sees patients in many facilities and this facility has a staff that TRULY cares about its residents! Its hard to find facilities that take such pride and care in their residents, but this one really does!

This is a beautiful community and the staff members are wonderful! It was a very difficult decision to move my mom into memory care, especially during the current times. However, everyone at the Grandview has made this as easy as possible for us. Jeannine, the Community Relations Director, is so friendly and addressed all of the questions I had (and there were a lot!). She took the time to give me a virtual tour and then also an in person tour a few weeks later (before they started moving residents in). Christina the Director was also very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Pam who is the Wellness Director has been great too. She truly cares about the residents and wants to see them thrive by making sure they engage in activities and that they have good medical care. All of the aides have been wonderful to my mom and make sure she is well taken care of and entertained. Im sorry but I dont remember all of their names but Jasmine is one that Ive talked to recently. Kelly, the Activity Director is amazing. She has taken a real interest in learning about my mothers interest in art and decorating. During art club recently, she had my mom teaching her some things. I know this made my mom happy! Theyve also gotten my mom dancing and having fun again. Flower arrangements and exercise classes are other things she has participated in. There is a neat app that shows the calendar of activities. You can also see what your loved one has been participating in and sometimes they post pictures of them doing the activities. Also, she says the food is wonderful! My mom was very hesitant about moving here and was afraid she would not know anyone. I assured her that she would make lots of new friends and she has. It makes me so happy hearing that she is thriving here! Thank you to the staff at The Grandview for making this a smooth process and for loving on my mom!!
