I visited a family friend during their Luau event last week and had such a wonderful time that I came back again to visit today. Both visits were great. The director of activities is young and energetic and it’s clear how much the residents love her. What stood out to me most was how she had the entire room laughing and engaged. It was truly special to see someone so young bring so much happiness and love to the folk that live there

I stop by weekly to visit 2 residents. I stop at the sign in counter usually greeted by the ladies up front; always with a smile & a bottle of hand sanitizer. I walk through the clean hallways to the rooms I wish to visit. I see the cleaning ladies with their carts going from room to room & it always smells clean, not like bleach but not dirty. Wish I could sit for dessert, It always looks good.

Charter has been absolutely wonderful. It is always clean and the staff (and even the residents) are very friendly. My mom is in their memory care unit and April and her team have done an amazing job with her. It was a rough transition for her moving in but within a week or so she was thriving and has been doing great ever since. No regrets at all about choosing Charter! I’d definitely recommend it for anyone else who needs a place for a loved one!

I have been to many events at this community and always love visiting. The staff, the residents, and the community is top notch. Everyone always welcomes me with a smile when I walk in, the events are always so organized, and the residents are kind and inviting. It's such a great place!

What an amazing ALF. The sales director goes above and beyond. She is amazing and all the residents love her!! This is not a facility it is a home and everyone is family! The staff goes overboard to make you feel welcome.

Our life would be so much different and much more complicated without the services provided by Charter Senior Living of Jefferson City. Taylor, April, Emily, and ALL of the wonderful staff ladies are supportive and caring, and go the distance to ensure that professional and excellent care is being provided (sorry I can't name them all!). And the maintenance manager is always most helpful, doing whatever is required to provide comfort and security. Today we had to arrange a room move for my relative and the ladies made it nearly effortless with their assistance. I am thankful that we have them!

The staff at Charter, especially in Memory Care, was extraordinary with our 96-year-old mother. The manager of that area, April, treated our mother like her own mother with great care and love. Mom’s room was spacious, and her window looked out on the woods and her beloved bird feeders and cardinals. Very highly recommended.

I always enjoy my visits at Charter Senior Living. I dropped in to confirm a bible lesson on Sunday morning, and took the time me to visit with the staff and residents. I stayed and had lunch with some old and new friends. The facility is bright, clean, and inviting.

They do not care it’s just an act. My grandmother is here and i thought she would be well taken care of. The first week she had a black eye. Has fallen more times here then she ever has in her life. They don’t dress her. I see other ppl that are staying there wearing my grandmothers clothing. They send her to the hospital weekly because of these falls. I’m just extremely disappointed. It looks nice and clean. It is. But the nurses or caregivers are not watching her.

When my dad came to Charter he was lonely, depressed, barely mobile and losing weight. He's a different person today because of their loving approach to care. He has gained weight, flies on his new walker, laughs all the time and loves life again. I would give Charter 100 stars if I could. I can't imagine a better place for a loved one. Every single caretaker (and I mean every one of them) makes a positive difference in dad's life and lifts the burden and worry from our family. Phenomenal facility and a real blessing.

My Dad has been at Chandler house for over 4 years. The nursing staff has helped out so much to improve the quality of life for my father. The facility is very nice with a fantastic view of the area for the residences to set out on the porches and socialize in good weather. The staff encourages family visits by hosting events that includes family participation.

The staff could not have been more accommodating from our initial interview to the very end. Wendy, Ann and Vickie made a very difficult time so much easier for our entire family. Chandler House accepted my mom and she has thrived and is so happy. We haven't witnessed this much in years. The staff is kind and helpful. The apartment and surroundings are first class. Thanks Chandler House for taking our mom in and giving her a great life. This was definitely guidance from God!
