We recently moved our mother to the Blake from an assisted living facility that was rapidly moving downhill. We could not be more pleased and she could not be happier. At the Blake, the focus is all on the resident, not on the corporate bottom line. The apartments are bright and well-apportioned, with tall ceilings and big windows. The dining room looks like a nice restaurant and the food is tasty and well presented. She was greeted by a group of Blake staff (on a weekend!) and presented with welcome baskets. Within 24 hours, the head of maintenance, the nursing staff, and the housekeeping staff had all introduced themselves to her. The executive director and the marketing head were extremely helpful during the transition, making life much easier for all of us. I highly recommend the Blake at Hollingsworth Park.

To say I was reluctant to move my husband into a care facility would be an understatement. I think that might be the hardest decision one person can make for another, and if I was going to do it, I wanted to be sure I was making the right choice for him. In the end, with my family's support, we moved him into Assisted Living at The Blake. The AL side of the facility allows freedom to go in and out at will, and the exterior doors remain unlocked. The apartments are well-appointed and roomy, with large bathrooms and walk-in closets. Unfortunately, because he wandered in the evenings looking for a ride, it became necessary to move my husband to Memory Care, where the doors are secure. Above all else, The Blake’s priority is the safety of its residents, and the potential for him to leave made the move essential. His new room is the same “ large, roomy, and with a beautiful big window. The entire staff has been extremely supportive in making the transition as smooth as possible. They listened to my concerns and addressed them promptly, encouraging him to meet new friends and take part in activities. I visit often, and we sometimes have lunch or dinner together “ the food choices are excellent. The Executive Director, Darrian, along with Sara, Nadia, Vonnie, and Vanity from the leadership team, have all been responsive and professional throughout our experience. While I would rather have him home with me, I am happy we found The Blake when that became untenable.

The Blake at Hollingsworth has been wonderful! Our loved one moved into the Memory Care community approximately three weeks ago, and our family has experienced a smooth and welcoming transition. The apartment is wonderful, with beautiful natural light, high ceilings, a large walk-in closet, ample living and den space, a comfortable bedroom, and a very spacious bathroom. From the moment you walk into The Blake, you and your family become part of the community. Everyone makes you feel welcomed, supported, and loved. From the front-desk receptionist to the maintenance team, including Fred and Mark, our move-in experience was excellent. Everyone was helpful and responsive to our requests and needs. The staff members are consistently respectful, compassionate, and attentive to everyone in the community. They are always looking for ways to better know and understand our family member while making his individual needs a priority. We are incredibly thankful for every staff member, including those we have not yet had the opportunity to meet. A special thank-you to Lovetta, Lyndell, Grace, Jo, and Marquez. Not only have we noticed your care but our loved one mentions everyday how wonderful and hardworking you all are. You may never fully know how much it means to our family to see how genuinely you care for our loved one. When you care for him, that care reaches his entire family, and we appreciate each of you more than words can express. Of course, we may never have gotten through the front door without Sara Johnson and Darrian Pennant, along with the wonderful care and support of Nadia Wardlaw and so many others! The Blake at Hollingsworth is a beautiful place to see and to call home, but it is the loving and devoted staff members who make it a true community and create such a strong feeling of family. We are deeply grateful to all of you!

My grandparents recently toured The Blake at Hollingsworth Park, and they had a wonderful experience. They were so impressed with how beautiful and welcoming the community is. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and took the time to answer all of their questions, making them feel comfortable throughout the tour. You can really tell they care about their residents. Based on their experience, this seems like a fantastic place for senior living. Highly recommend checking it out!

The attention to detail has been greatly appreciated. The onboarding of my loved one was graciously and attentively orchestrated by the staff as well as the residents. The staff always shows respect and care, even when they are busy, they take the time to say hello. The activities are engaging and my loved one enjoys the social time during the activities. The Physical and Occupational Therapy (Karen and Olivia) has been extremely helpful and my loved one has greatly improved because of these servicess. Special thanks to Darrien, Kathy, Nicki, Stephanie, Laisha, Vanity and the many other care givers, housekeeping staff and the food and beverage staff.

Recently my sister moved Into The Blake. Her admission came after an injury which led our family to begin looking at assisted living facilities for her. We visited at least 8 to 10 facilities. The moment we walked into The Blake the atmosphere was so different and immediately our thought was this was a place where she could thrive. The facility is beautiful and her accommodations are lovely. Darrian gave us a tour and walked us through the process. It helped tremendously that Darrian was available to answer questions and help with all the details. We met with director Amy and she also has been so kind and helpful. My sister has now been at The Blake for several weeks. She is very happy. She enjoys the delicious meals and the dining experience. She has gone to many events and stays busy. She attends physical therapy onsite at The Blake. It’s wonderful that she doesn’t have to travel to go to PT and the therapists have been so supportive. Each staff member that we have come in contact with at The Blake has been outstanding. I would encourage anyone seeking an assisted living facility for a loved one to come and visit. I can tell you that our visit was an accurate representation of what life is like at The Blake and it’s wonderful.

My mother was in another facility but I need to move her. I met with the staff at the Blake and toured the facility. I was very impressed with the people and building. Also, I was especially impressed with the time the staff took with me to answer all my questions and explain everything. Unfortunately it was determined my mother needed a Skilled Nursing facility which the Blake doesn't offer. However, I highly recommend the Blake based on what I saw and the quality of people that work there.

My mother lived at The Blake for a little over a year in assisted living before I moved her out of state to be closer to me - The Blake was wonderful for her and wonderful for me! Her room was super spacious, with excellent natural light, a real fridge, and great storage. The food was excellent - I heard about that a lot. The facilities and common spaces are gorgeous and great for hanging out. The place feels much more like a luxury apartment complex than a hospital - which is great for aging comfortably. All of the staff at The Blake are kind, friendly, and welcoming. I had lots of semi-strange requests trying to take care of my Mom from out of state and they were super accommodating and patient with me! We had one or two rare miscommunications (which is to be expected) but they were rectified quickly! It's super clear that The Blake strives to provide top tier care for their residents and to feel like home - I'd recommend it everyone!

The Blake has been a wonderful place for my mom! She has been there 1 1/2 years and has met so many great friends! The facility is so nice and clean and my mom's apartment is so pretty with lots of windows, natural light and high ceilings. She has a large closet and large bathroom and a very comfortable sized living room and bed room. Her kitchen meets all of her needs as well. The staff there is friendly and helpful and it gives the Blake a very personal and warm vibe! Amy Howard, Executive Director, has been incredible and is on top of communication with families and does a great job making The Blake special. The wait staff in the dining room is very accommodating and they offer lots of options. Stephanie Poole, Director of Activities, does an amazing job keeping everyone involved and there is always something fun going on! My mom loves the exercise classes! The front desk Welcome Staff makes everyone feel special and part of the family! The Blake gets 5 stars and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place for their loved one! The food at The Blake is always very good and has been exceptional lately! Chef Ranon and his team prepare amazing meals from real southern fried chicken and all the fixings to steak over risotto and asparagus. Top notch service with smiling faces too! A very nice dining experience!

I can not be more pleased with the leadership and staff. If you get involved and show them you care it is the best choice for the money by far for us in the Greenville area. Nancy long has be phenomenal from day one and continues to be involved with everyone that she can helping to make a difficult transition a pleasant situation. Amy is not only the executive director but a servant helping everyone that she can. Stephanie, director of activities, and her assistant are the most kind compassionate servants that I have every witness.. Day by day they make things better, always improving always engaging. Staff members like Lisa, Shameka, Lashand, Audrey, Hannah and Edie are just a few of the reasons. As as physician knowing the difficult and impossible job that they have they score a 96 out of 100.

We recently moved our parents to the Blake and are very pleased. They are treated with the upmost kindness, respect, and warmth from everyone there-dining staff, med techs, nursing, care techs, front lobby, housekeeping, therapy, activities, their nurse practitioner, and administration. It is evident that staff members have taken the time to really get to know my parents and strive to make them feel special. We thank you so much!!!

We moved out father there recently and he loves it. The people are so nice and helpful. You can customize the care needed which gives my father what he needs while still being independent. He loves the food and activities. It was a good move for us and we are lucky to have found The Blake.

My father is in Assisted Living and he loves it! It's a HUGE improvement from the more expensive "luxury" facility he was in and he is now thriving, making many wonderful friends and he loves the food and is finally gaining some weight. The residents are very social, happy and friendly and so is the staff. His quality of life and health have all improved immeasurably! His apartment is a very generous size with plenty of room for visitors. Large closet, clean and bright bathroom, small kitchenette and high ceilings. The staff has been so supportive and we enjoy visiting and being able to eat meals in the lovely dining room with him when we visit. The facility is light and bright and very conveniently located. We recently moved my mother in law into the Memory Care side and have been very pleased with that as well.

I have recently visited a resident here. The staff is beyond attentive and friendly. I was very impressed at the variety of activities available and enthusiasm given to not only the resident that I was visiting, but the others as well. The menu looked amazingas well. I would highly recommend The Blake to others!
