The new ED Tracy is very new, she's been there about a month now,shes not warm or inviting,you wont catch her interacting w residents in activities or motivating her staff,however shes good at what she does & is generally a good person. Although I wish her the best ,I cannot give her credit for the work that is seen there today because Legacy was turned around by The previous executive Director,KRISTEN CRUZ.she,along w myself ,AED toni,shift lead Crystal,Kevin in maintenance,&martina in Housekeeping got the building & kitchen state compliant.we did as much as MICHAEL the owner allowed budget wise,which had always been super tight. We were like family & we busted our BEHINDS TO GET Our Building in great Condition with the limited resources we were given.Theres high turnover for care staff which is normal for most cbrfs & long term care facilities.over all its reasonably priced & a decent place for mom & dad.

When I first met the staff, I immediately felt like I gained a new family. I was pleasantly surprised to find the caregivers, maintenance, and kitchen staff so welcoming. The activities director is very knowledgeable, and not a day is boring. (Last week there were fuzzy baby chicks and baby goats visiting!) The Executive Director Tracy, and been overly accommodating and incredibly helpful. I would feel completely confident about leaving a family or loved one in the hands of The Legacy staff.

This place had slid downhill over the last couple of years. In November 2023 they got a new director and some new staff and the turn around has been amazing! They are back to why we put Mom there in the first place, and then some. Every time I show up the residents are involved in some activity, the director calls me every time there is a change with Mom, (the food has always been good - thank you kitchen staff) the place and the residents are clean…I'm so thankful for all the hard work the staff is putting in!

Kristen, the ED, is kind and shows genuine concern for her residents. The facility is clean and caregiver, Crystal, is always willing to help. I have had a positive experience working closely with Legacy!

Recently had the pleasure of hosting a Root Beer Float event at Legacy. A few things really stood out to me. All of the employees really care about their residents. They made sure everyone was accounted for and felt like they were involved. Second how much of a family-type environment is maintained at their facility. The residents were sitting and talking and laughing with each other. Also, residents families were also sitting and talking with other residents. Lastly staff (including Admin)was out participating in the event making sure each and every resident is happy and taken care of. I really have enjoyed meeting staff and residents at Legacy and would recommend to anybody seeking long term placement for a loved one.

Caregivers Tanayshia and TK were extremely helpful during my visit there and were there in my team member's and my time of need. Kristen was nothing but sweet and caring. I can tell that Kristen is making some big changes at Legacy and turning things around.

The director and staff at Legacy Assisted Living provide the care that I could no longer give to my loved one in a professional, capable, yet very caring manner. When navigating what is required to address my loved one's changing needs, they clearly support and advocate for him and also for me. They problem solve in order to best provide for his comfort and well being as his condition changes. His comfort and care are truly their priority. This has especially been the case with the current director at Legacy who is very involved with the residents on a daily basis and knows each resident well. The building is welcoming and clean. Their meals are tasty and attractively prepared. The activities director provides great activities to involve the residents including games, music, and art. The nurse on staff works very closely with my loved one and me and the staff to be sure his medical needs are being met. The caregivers treat my loved one with respect and caring and work to make Legacy feel like home for him.

From housekeeping to kitchen staff. From the caregivers to management Legacy is top notch. Everyone is so caring and nice. Small homelike environment for our grandfather. He always has a smile and very well taken care of. All the new wonderful activities going on now we can't wait to see what spring and summer brings.

We were fortunate to have Legacy Pewaukee care for a family member who required assisted living care during the pandemic. While huge portions of Waukesha Co/Lake Country were disregarding Covid-19 precautions, Legacy took the utmost care & precautions and should be applauded for their concerted actions. A professional (and fun & accommodating) staff & administration helped turn a time of anxiety into a time of positivity.

From the very first day that I talked to Ashley,I thought this would be a good place for my Mom. Went on the tour with Ashley O and she made me very comfortable, told me about all the wonderful things that they have and offer there at Legacy Assisted Living. The staff is very nice. It is very clean, open concept, and even if you have to share a room it very private compared to most other places. The roommates arent on top of each other in this tiny space. Bathrooms are very roomy. Food is cooked everyday and is hot. Mom likes all the staff and they are very helpful,no matter who it is. I couldnt ask for a better place for my Mom.

I couldnt be happier with the kind and caring staff who treat my dad as family. I know my dad is well cared for. The facility is always neat and clean. I would highly recommend Legacy to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one!

I cant say enough about the superb care my brother received at Legacy. They have many scheduled activities throughout the day that they may attend if they want to, and the food was good. He was well taken care of and they went above and beyond to see to his needs. They were always in contact with me concerning his changes due to his dementia. Like I said, I cant say enough about the place. Its a definite 10 star organization.
