My sister and I faced the difficult decision of placing our mom in memory care, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she’s receiving at the Bridgewater Sunrise Memory Care Unit (3rd floor). Marline and her team are truly exceptional. They are warm, compassionate, and incredibly attentive to each resident’s needs. They take such wonderful care of my mom, always treating her with kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. It gives our family real peace of mind knowing she’s in such capable and caring hands every day. We are so thankful for the support, dedication, and heart they bring to what they do. They truly care for each patient as if they were part of their own family.

What a wonderful place.. I toured with my brother for my parents and this community had all the amenities we were looking for... We moved them in a few weeks later and the first few months have been wonderful for them. Thank you Sunrise of Bridgewater...

My mother has been in the facility for 3 years now. While the move was a difficult decision to make we have never regretted it. The care workers, reception staff and management have never wavered in their genuine demonstration of care for her well being. The facility is clean and full of life.

We are very pleased with the experience my sister has had in the Memory Care neighborhood at Sunrise of Bridgewater. Right from the start everyone we dealt with was wonderful. This was a complicated, multi state move and the staff was extremely helpful. The adjustment went very smoothly and the care my sister has received has been excellent. She is very happy and participates in all activities. The memory care staff know exactly what she needs and makes her feel respected, important and useful. This was definitely the right move! Definitely recommend Sunrise for anyone requiring memory care.

So, I want to tell you about the support my dad has been given as a resident of Sunrise of Bridgewater. He has been living at Sunrise for about 2 years now. Five weeks ago he went into the hospital. He spent two weeks there before being moved to a rehab facility. It was not far from Sunrise, so the staff went above and beyond to make his stay at the rehab facility more comfortable. They prepared his lunch and dinner for him every day, which I picked up and brought to him. Karen Spencer, the Dining Services Coordinator, did a wonderful job supplying me with menus and packing everything up for me to take to him; right down to the little handwritten 'Get Well' messages for him to see every day. Having that bit of home cooking kept his spirits up and made him feel he was still part of the community. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Sunrise!

Very caring and thoughtful Memory Care staff who go above and beyond! They know each resident's personality and preferences and try to make him or her feel at home and part of the community. They show patience and kindness if a resident is having difficulty and work as a team to help them. They keep the families in the loop and are very accommodating when you visit or take your loved one out for the day. They have an enthusiastic activities staff that provide live entertainment and activities right in the memory care unit. The decor is stunning and the food is delicious!

Mom received top notch care at Sunrise of Bridgewater during the last 2 1/2 years of her life. She loved the food, staff and attention given to the residents' needs. The precautions taken to protect residents during the Covid - 19 pandemic and lockdown were excellent. Our family would recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for a family-oriented assisted living environment for a loved one.

Late last year, I took my 93-year-old mother on a "farewell tour" and we visited all the top-rated assisted living facilities in the area/close to our homes in Branchburg, NJ we did 4 places in 5 days, and I let her make the final decision, and she chose Sunrise, hands down, which was fine with me Why? Well, the place at the time was only 6 months old, the sales and management team appeared to be classy and the price was one of the best of the 4 we visited, as they also had an end-of-year deal at the time We moved her in during December - thus she has been there almost a year, and they have asked me to provide a review here Overall, we are still very happy with the facilities, food and first line workers, middle management and the medical staff all of these attributes are wonderful However, we are not happy with upper management and what appears to be shady practices by them let me 'splain: 1) During the interview process, I specifically asked if their generator backs up the entire facility and I was told it did (even in writing) - not long after she moved in, there was an accident on 22 and the power to facility was affected, and her room was dark/no power at all this was after I set my mom up to be 'wired' to many daily items (bed, chair, Alexa/light controls) - upon bringing this up with the Sales Team/management, they explained it was a misunderstanding and they were sorry for the any confusion they had caused 2) The sales pitch/brochure at that time, strongly indicated to me that WIFI was included, since the entire facility is covered - thus I thought WIFI would be one less monthly cost, as at it was at one other highly rated assisted living facility that we visited however, to obtain cable/phone service at Sunrise, they contracted with Optimum and they only offer a triple play option, so you have to get WIFI too additionally, although this is not directly their problem, getting my mom's service setup literally took over a month with scores of calls/hours of my time it was one of the worst service interactions I have ever had even the tech who came out several times felt sorry for us, and finally was able to fixed her problem, agreed with me about their service, as he was even constrained by how much he could do on one any service call wow! 3) This month's bill contained a supplemental charge due to the crazy inflation we have all encountered I can accept that, however: A they back-billed us to the previous month, making this month's invoice very high B the supplemental charge for us, was 9.64%, which they supported in writing by saying they urrently are experiencing the highest inflation in decades (agree), over double digits . . . wait/hold on with that statement, that may be true for some items, but not for inflation as whole so I checked the Google, and at that time, the annual inflation rate was 'only' 8.3% . . . thus, they were billing us at an inflation + rate and I replied/informed them of this, i.e., of their misleading statements in their letter to inform/justify their supplemental increase Then in the same letter they informed us what next year's rate would be, in a dollar value - Low and behold, they had also increased my mom's daily rate by the exact same 9.64% - thus they effectively had started with next year's new rate, mid-September of this year, and were continuing with the supplemental charge through all of next year/2023 I asked them why didn't they just say this, rather than make it look like two separate transactions? I also asked if inflation should drop again to its more historical rate of 3.8%, would they decrease their rates? To all of these statements/questions, I have not received any reply I closed this reply by saying I thought they had more class than this, since their wording appeared to me to be shady, at best Thus, I will give them one star each for their facilities, food and first line workers/middle management/medical staff I hope this helps someone

I have the pleasure of working with this community professionally and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are warm, caring and very attentive to all of the residents needs. Joanna, Mary and the rest of the team are great to work with and go above and beyond for the residents. I would highly recommend this location for your loved one.
