Our mother was a resident in respite care for a month, June to July, 2026. The staff were all wonderful to my mother and to all of her family. From our first visit to Canopy we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, and friendly residents. Armin was super helpful to us as we were exploring Canopy’s offerings, patiently answering all of our questions, and this was very helpful at a stressful time. Everyone welcomed her from day one and included her/family members in every activity that was planned. The ladies at the reception desk, activity staff, dining staff, medical aid staff, were all friendly, helpful and timely”my mother never had to wait long when she used her call button. She also loved how Asurin did her hair, from a shampoo/set to her perm! Mom was happy to move back to her independent residence but was sorry to leave her newly made friends at Canopy.

The Canopy is an incredible community! The team goes beyond meeting physical needs- they truly care for the whole person! There are always meaningful activities taking place, and it is obvious that the team works hard to create an environment where residents feel included, connected and engaged. Mayra, the new community outreach director at The Canopy, visited Alpine House yesterday and it reminded me what a lovely and unique senior living community The Canopy truly is. Tucked away on the outskirts of Beaverton, The Canopy has managed to create a very warm, urban, socially connected atmosphere yet in a quiet residential location. There is a clear sense of identity and community there that many residents genuinely enjoy, and it feels like a real destination for seniors looking for connection, engagement, and thoughtful care. After 7 years in business, it is clear that The Canopy is a good choice among many senior care facilities available. They deliever good care in a niche : urban feeling tucked away in Cedar Hills/West Slope.

I’ve been at this community for roughly 6 years in assisted living. Ian, our life enrichment director, is always hosting fun and engaging activities at the community. Ian is a loving and caring person. We have at our community! I appreciate all the staff who work here daily.

When we were looking for a place for my father and mother-in-law, the folks at Ciel really pitched in to make it happen. They have provided transportation for FIL when MIL went to the hospital, helped finding primary care, and generally speaking, the care there is good. It's a welcoming place and the in-laws have made fast friends with residents and staff alike. One of the complaints my FIL has is the food is often not as warm as he likes it.

Mom, her boyfriend and her sister have all been here about a year and a half and everyone is happy. Had to move mom into memory care about 6 months ago. The staff really cares and have bent over backwards to help whenever needed. The staff from the top down are amazing. Could not have wished for a better result for all concerned. THANK YOU!

If you are looking for a wonderful facility for your loved one needing memory care Ciel Memory Care is the right choice. From the time you walk in you are treated with warmth. The whole team is amazing! I might add they work as a team to ensure your loved one is taken care of. They treat my loved one with caring and warmth as well as all of the individuals calling them by name and knowing their personality. The facility is very clean, lots of open space for walking, very secure and the food is excellent!! The daily planned activities are great which are encouraged but not forced!! There is an open line of communication when I need it. I live in Texas but because of this it lessens the anxiety I feel from being so far away!! I am notified whenever anything even if it is minor occurs!! I looked at a lot of facilities and I am so happy I found Ciel. Thank you so much to the Ciel Team for caring for my loved one and for making his life more peaceful!! You are all amazing! Sharol

As a Senior Living professional and current Care Manager, I have visited Ciel, formerly Cornell Landing, several times over the past 2 years. The food has been excellent, with greater choices, quality and creativity than most competitors. The management staff, from ED Armin to Skyler/Marketing to Amy RN and Diana LPN/Health & Wellness, seem to be on top of their game in caring about each resident and empowering staff to do the same. Many staff have been here for over 5 years, a great credit to all. It is sad to see reviews here from those who encountered a problem but did not talk directly to management and give a chance for resolution before posting damaging remarks. The field of Senior Care is challenging, as those who have provided direct care for family can attest, and it requires on-going communication and participation to succeed.

I don't know where all these five-star reviews are coming from but my mother is in this facility and every visit there's some kind of drama including finding my mother rolling in her own feces feces smeared on the floor in a room and her personal bathroom finding her half naked in another client's room and now on my last visit she has a welt on the side of her head with a bruise damn near the size of my fist these people do not care about your loved ones nor do they care to check on anyone or take care of anything except what is expected of them such as serving food at dinner lunch and breakfast do not put your loved ones here.

What I love most about Cornell Landing are the team members and how much you can tell they love the people they serve. No where will ever be perfect but they show a great amount of love and affection to the residents. The food is also terrific. Cassandra and her dietary team make sure all needs are met for breakfast, lunch and dinner...snacks too!!

My husband and I moved my mom into Fieldstone Cornell Landing and are extremely happy! My mother loves the friendly staff, the care is impeccable and the food is amazing. Activities are carefully planned and residents are invited to participate so everyone feels included. They host movie nights, scenic drives, crafts and Bingo in addition to celebrating holidays and special occasions. The nurses and care staff are readily available, attentive and professional. I feel completely confident my mother has the best care available to her while she’s home. The restaurant ( YES, there is an actual restaurant!) staff are wonderful as well. Their light hearted interactions with residents is sweet to watch. Everyone, (yes everyone) seems to be looking out for my mom. Is she eating? How is she feeling? Does she feel included and participating within the community? We are so pleased, that we moved my mother in law from Las Vegas to Cornell Landing. Obviously, my husband and I are very happy we made the decision to move our mothers to Fieldstone Cornell Landing. Its worth your time to check them out before you make the decision to move your loved one anywhere!

Fieldstone Cornell Landing has been the perfect place for my Mom. The quality of care and the food are amazing. Mom has really felt at home here. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for quality assisted living!

My mother moved into memory care at Fieldstone just over a month ago and it has been amazing to see how much better she is doing physically, mentally, and emotionally. Prior to moving to Fieldstone she was in and out of the hospital just about every other week. She hasn't had a single fall, stroke, or breathing issue since she moved here. The staff is amazing at keeping families connected to our loved ones during COVID and building community with other families through support groups. After a FaceTime call with my mom today I just had to come on here and rave about how engaged she was and how great she looked. The last time I tried to have a video call with her she thought she was watching me on video and didn't understand that we were supposed to be communicating. Between the exercise and the life enrichment activities I can see that Mom is thriving and is at the best place for her. I am so thankful to the amazing staff that has been giving her such wonderful care. Thank you!

This is a beautiful building with excellent care. I personally have not lived here but the interactions I have had with the community relations director has given me an inside glimpse into the family like feel here and the devotion to the residence. I would consider having my loved one live here!

Fieldstone Cornell Landing continues to exceed my expectations!!! My 85 year old mother has finally found her forever home in memory care.This location embraces all issues with regard to our aging loved ones(including COVID19) and has the knowledge to help the family seek gold star outside services that are performed at the facility/no reason to transport them~Win Win in my opinion. Their Mantra of making Fieldstone Communities the workplace of choice for professionals who demonstrate exceptional skill, work ethic and compassion is RIGHT ON! No wonder they possess the Best Workplaces for Aging Services. Every single employee from the top down Walks the Talk. In conclusion, I can rest knowing that my mother is getting the BEST care possible(and food) in the Beaverton/Portland area. Thank You Fieldstone.

We attended the grand opening and found everything about Cornell Landing to be first rate. The facility is beautifully designed, the staff are helpful and always there was someone at hand asking if they could help. We had an elderly parent in 3 different facilities before she passed away at 89 and would have been delighted to have her living in this facility.

We toured this facility during their open house last week with my parents who will someday be moving into an Assisted Living home. We were all very impressed with the caring and attentive staff. They have been working hard to make this a fun and safe community for their tenants and it shows. Their facility boasts many amenities for the residents to enjoy: several dining areas, a hair and nail salon, fully equipped gym and a sky lounge to name a few. I would recommend Fieldstone Cornell Lansing to anyone looking for a wonderfully managed and caring Memory Care or Assisted Living home for themselves or a loved one.
