Assisted living side was great for my Grandma until her dementia worsened and needed more care. She moved to memory care side...rent went up and care went down. With the exception of a few caring souls who have been great, there are many staff members who are cold and have an attitude that they are being inconvenienced when asking for their help. There's not a nurse on duty at night so beware! My Grandma was on hospice and her hospice nurse couldn't access the locked med box and Villas didn't have a nurse on staff that night to unlock it. Hospice nurse had to leave my Grandma to go to Walgreens herself to get meds. UNACCEPTABLE! In my observation and my opinion, Villas of Hollybrook/Reflections Memory are not equipped to handle the needs of their dementia residents!! My Grandma was on her deathbed that night and passed.

Villas of Hollybrook, Pekin is not only beautiful inside with the building structure and decor but beautifully managed and cared for by caring devoted beautifully hearted people. Working in marketing for a local hospice organization I get the honor to support the building in various ways and I’ve witnessed first hand the amazing love they show towards their residents and families. The food, the activities, the livelihood they provide is second to none. I’m honored to be asked to be a small part of this community.

I work for EmpowerMe Wellness here at the Villas. We provide therapy and lab services for the residents. I have been here in this community for 6 years and I love all the residents and staff. I see many programs here that ensure the residents are safe in their homes and cared for. I enjoy working with this compassionate, caring group of people. Very proud to be part of this team, taking care of this extraordinary community. Thank you for making my job seem less like a job and more like a lifestyle.

My family landed in such a rough place with my grandma. Over one weekend, I witnessed this staff advocate for my grandma as if she was their own. This is a place you want your loved one. The activity director Bobbie is one of a kind, Emiley projects a voice for the elderly when they need it most, and the whole staff is just so sweet. I will give this place five stars all day every day, because I know my Grandma is in good hands.

I always enjoy seeing my Aunt in the pictures they share. All the activities that they offer her. She enjoys the crafts so much. They truly care. Also on the other side I have a family member who works for them, an amazing family of co-workers. They truly care for their workers as well!

A facility with a heart for their family. They went above and beyond their duty to care for our whole family during my fathers Hospice care and eventual death.We were treated with such kindness and compassion. We will never forget how all the staff helped us through such a difficult time.My mother lives there too and is well looked after. She has made wonderful friends that have brought joy back into her life.The smell of fresh baked cookies certainly improves her quality of life!Crafts, BINGO, music, Church services and special outings enrich her days. I have two sister-in-laws there, one on the Reflections side, and one on the Villas side, and both get the best of care. It is clean all the time, and the people that work there are awesome.

It is very nice and clean place. Staff is very nice and the ones staying there where we were with Joyce were very nice and cutting up laughing!! Building is out of this world for this type of place. Real nice!!
