Our mother stayed there for years. The employees were nice. the food was poor. When our mother moved out we found mouse droppings everywhere! It was so sad to think that our mom's apartment was infested with mice! I wish I could recommend this place but I can't because of the mice situation.

I have been a resident of the Retreat for more than four years. I love it here. It feels home. The staff are friendly and caring for the individual. The residents are kind and make me feel as if I am in a family. I like that every part of the facility is kept very clean. For example, the dining room floor is washed more than once a day. The apartments are large and roomy. The grounds are beautiful where I can walk and enjoy nature. I just love it here.

I appreciate the time Annette spent with me touring the facility and addressing my questions and concerns. The building was beautiful, the staff were helpful and the residents seemed happy and engaged.

You can really tell they care about the residents that live here. The staff is responsive, experienced and they go above and beyond what is required every day.

Recently I had a situation with my mother here and I cant say enough good things about how they handled it. I have to give a special thanks to Dustin and all the CNA staff. It has been extremely hard not being able to see my mother over this past year and the staff at Sunbrook have had to truly step up to take care of everything since this started. Hopefully we will be able to see our family again soon.

My next door neighbor had to put her mother into assisted living due to her advanced stage Alzheimers. It broke her heart but when she found this place it has made it a lot easier for her. This is a posh place and every time she goes to visit her mom is very involved in activities and seems very happy so if you need to do that with one of your family members I highly suggest you check this place out

My grandma lived here the last couple years of her life. Its a very nice venue with a good community. The locals often come in to visit the members here, which I thought was very sweet. The rooms are very nice and spacious. If you are LDS, they hold services here every Sunday. The only complaint I have is with the food. Completely atrocious. Often served cold and reheated and was not impressed. Not only does my opinion come from what my grandma and relatives have told me, but Ive also eaten lunch with her quite a few times and was very disappointed in the quality.
