I called and spoke with Carrieanne about a loved one with a very particular non-negotiable issue. Carrieanne was wonderful. She was transparent with expectations and willing to ask the questions. She looked at every possibility and asked questions all the way to the top decision maker. Even better than her willingness to ask the questions was her phone calls touching base with me as she navigated through the conversations. I have worked in this industry for years, and rarely do you find a Sales Director that actually follows through. That alone was refreshing. Additionally, The Blake is currently at 100%, and she STILL made the calls to ask the questions. She could have just blown me off, but I could tell she cared and wanted to help, if they could. I am so impressed with Carrieanne's time, willingness to ask, care, and professionalism. We all know the Sales Director, Community Relations Director, etc. is the reason people move in their loved ones. It's about the connection, the genuine care, and the trust between that sales person and the family that is looking. The Blake has that person. Thank you, Carrieanne.

I have been living at the Blake for two years this March. My wife and I are very happy living here. Staff is good and helpful. I'm the council president and I enjoy working with staff to improve conditions and make a much better experience here at the Blake. The best senior living community in New Braunfels! Can't thank everyone enough, I don't know how you do it. The only community we found to have nurses 24 hours a day. Emily, the memory care director, is amazing, so on top of everything and such a caring and compassionate manager.

As a healthcare provider working with older adults and in partnership with the Blake in New Braunfels I can say that the team at the Blake provides top quality care. They take a true interest in each resident and work to meet their needs. The residents have formed a community that is vibrant and supportive of one another. I would not hesitate to recommend this community to a patient, a friend, or a loved one.

The staff and caregivers are wonderful and caring. I am very pleased with the care my husband receives. The meals are another matter. On holidays the residents receive cold, dry sandwiches or other cold entrees. For Christmas Eve they received a very small scoop of egg salad, 4 crackers, and 2 Tablespoons of fruit. My husband cannot leave and this is so sad. For Christmas day we are scheduled to have ham sandwiches. So sad for those who have to be here.

I spoke to Ashton when I called today. She was so courteous, patient, friendly and her customer service is top notch. She was very helpful and answered my question thoroughly. Everyone should take classes from her on how to answer a phone and how to treat a customer.

My mother, GG, was a resident of memory care for 14 months. The staff from Megan all the way to the med aides and the caregivers were very caring and supportive. GG wasn't always the easiest to deal with but never did the staff give up. There were times Chandlar would lay along side of her to calm her. Times when Christina would lay and rub her hair. Courtney would sit in her room till she fell asleep. Caregivers would assist her in eating and bring special stuff for her to eat. If I ever had an issue I would go straight to the source and it was handled. When GG was in her last days the nurses and staff were very caring and made sure GG was taken care of and her family. When the Blake says we treat you like family they are standing by the statement. GG passed away there on February 17th and everyone shed as many tears as her family did. They truly care about their residents. We miss seeing them and being around our second family.

My husband has been a resident for a year and I am giving it a 5 star! My husband has seizures as well as needing memor care. The staff does an excellent job. It's very clean, the food is wonderful, and the nurses and support staff are outstanding. I am very happy with our decision to let them care for my husband. I encourage anyone interested to call or visit for you family member. The staff does 796-4386

The team at The Blake is awesome! In particular, Kelli Roberts, Director of Activities. My mother is a resident there. She can only eat pureed foods. On a recent restaurant outing, Kelli took time to order food for mom, take it back to The Blake to get Pureed, and then returned to the restaurant so mom could eat with the other's on the field trip. Now that's customer service!

After an extensive research into assisted living facilities in the New Braunfels area, the Blake stood out hands down as the type of facility we felt would be best for our mother. The staff is amazing and took great pride in helping us throughout the process. The most impressive part of the Blake's staff is they really take time in knowing the resident and the family members. Megan Perez, Director of Wellness is the most dedicated and caring person. When we had to move mother into the memory care section, Megan was there every step of the way and made it her mission to check mother constantly to ensure mother was made comfortable. Most of all Megan knew the right time when a well placed hug was the best medicine. What we are most impressed with is the activities. Kelli Roberts makes sure the fun never stops. From dancing to music from county to the 60s. The best way to sum up the activities was when i made a comment to mother that we laugh that it is hard to get in contact with her over the phone - Mother's comments. I am busy and have things to do. She loves it there. If you are looking for an assisted living and memory care facility that is new, refreshing, full of activities and events but caring - look to the Blake New Braunfels. You will rest well at night knowing your loved one is Still Living life to its fullest.

I am so happy that my family and I found The Blake at New Braunfels. We are moving from out of state and Vanessa was so wonderful on helping us find the right option for my mother.
