Both of my 89 yr old parents were in hospice and needed to be relocated to a memory care facility in the area of NPR/ Trinity. My sister and I hit the pavement and searched for a good fit. I had remembered that Cody reached out to me consistently about my inquiries about assisted living in the past, so I asked him for a tour. There was alot going on at once so I was a mess! I had been caretaker to both my parents for 2 years and reached my limit. Caregiver burnout. Cody assured me that I was in the right place. He took his time to review everything with both my sister and I and was extremely thorough. It's rare these days to see a young guy like him work so hard, and sincerely care about what he does. He was very transparent about everything! He's the real deal. Lucy, the move-in coordinator is also exceptional. She made this transition seemless and assured us that we were in good hands! She is still very helpful and friendly, making sure our needs are always addressed! She Rocks! The in house Nurse, LeAnne, is also a tremendous asset to this facility. She actually went to Gulfside Hospice to evaluate both my parents to make sure they were placed in the correct section. We weren't sure if they would be ok in assisted living together so she was a huge help and instrumental in making sure they would be safe in memory care. The memory care team have been very loving and caring to both my parents. They give me honest updates and always have a smile on their face! I know how hard their job is caring for so many seniors because I did it myself! Dana and Janet both are amazing caregivers. They are upbeat and always positive! Love you guys! I had the pleasure of participating in an activity at Sunflower Springs this past weekend. The activities team hosted a "Dance Party" for their memory care residents and it was a big hit! The residents were engaged, happy and dancing to the oldies! It was so wonderful to see their faces light up! Marilyn Kraemer, Joe and the team really did a wonderful job. Their Director of Nursing/Resident Services, Leanne Christensen even came in on her day off to share in the celebration. Thank you all for including me in this joyous event! You all truly care about your residents and love what you do.

Do not move your loved one into the memory care unit. It is filthy, depressing and most importantly the residents are neglected. Assisted living is fine if you do not need assistance of any kind. We complained constantly with false promises and management doesn’t want to deal with any complaints. The memory care coordinator should not be in that position. The two star rating is for a few wonderful caregivers and the outstanding activities department. They do a fantastic job. We ended up moving our loved one to a much better facility that is not corporate owned!

Great place to live especially if you can no longer take care of everything that you would need to! The staff (employees) are always there to help! All of the employees are people that belong at Sunflower to do a job that can be very difficult! The employees CARE!! I was very reluctant to live in a ALF, but quite to the contrary it has been HOME!! I couldn’t have made a better choice as to where to live!! Not only are the employees caring but I have found that most all of the residents are also very special people!! In my opinion, Sunflower Springs Trinity is a home for all!! They do their utmost to make everyone feel as they belong!!!

Mom has called this home for three years, being one of the original residents to move in within 30 days of opening - in the midst of COVID! The facility is beautiful, the staff attentative, caring and kind. There are many activities to choose from, and if you suggest it, they will pull it together and make it happen. My overall experience with the day staff at Sunflower Springs is something I could not be more grateful for. Samantha R. Who is a Resident Care Associate, is the most passionate, caring and thoughtful aide I have met. She always is going above and beyond and genuinely cares for your family member as if they are one of her own. Sunflower Springs is a wonderful facility. The facility is well maintained, clean, and impressively decorated. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The director or nursing, Leanne goes above and beyond for the residents. You can tell she is truly passionate about her job and genuinely cares for the residents and their families. Residents are continuously engaged with an array of daily activities that are tailored to their interests. The facility also has an ice cream parlor and a movie theater! I have toured several facilities in the area and Sunflower Springs is hands down the best!

I have to say, my entire experience with Sunflower Springs has been stress free and positive after what was an unexpected situation with my parents. I dealt mainly with Cody and Lucy who were there for me every step of the process but had the pleasure to meet Chris as well. This team worked to see that all my questions were answered, the process was smooth/stress free and that all comforts/accommodations/expectations were met and exceeding expectations.

Poor staffing. Went to visit my family for the second time in two weeks to find a staff member Maria forcing a patient to wheel himself from lunch area to his room after the sweet resident explained he has been in pain with his hips and today he couldnt. Then another Patient asked for help also and was force to wheel herself. We had to push families pedent button to request help with her hearing aids. Then Maria again had attitude about our request for help. She relayed that she was in charge of them and doesn't have access to the cart. We then requested for help from someone that could help and this seemed to be a hassle for Maria. No compassion and no considerations. Coming into families room where their room is to have curtains opened during the day and bed made after helping family get ready. It appeared that it should have been night time at 12pm in the afternoon with curtains closed and bed unmade. In the hall way empty gallon water jugs and dirty used gloves. Last week coming to make sure family was able to get her chest xray. To find a team of staff in staff room socializing while on duty. Good news kitchen staff is great, caring and loving. And Boss man Chris is on point and tries hard to fix things but we just keep running into poor staffing each visit.

My father moved here from another Assisted Living Facility in May of 2021 and he really loves the place. The staff and residents are so friendly and helpful. Dad is extremely picky about food and he just loves the food here so that says something in itself. The apartment he is in is spacious and very clean and he is very glad that there is a full-sized refrigerator instead of a little one that kids use in their dorms. It is so nice to see Dad smiling all the time now. Thank you Jodie and everyone else at Sunflower Springs.

Helping a loved one transition into an Assisted Living Facility is never an easy decision. When my mother and her two cats moved into Sunflower Springs at Trinity, the location had only been open for three months. Of course being a new facility there were a few speed bumps along the way, however, the staff was readily available to ensure that a resolution was always found. I can honestly say that my mother could not have received better care. The staff in all departments were friendly, encouraging, kind and became like a second family to my mother very quickly. My mother had a very poor appetite, but consistently praised the delicious meals. She would be offered an alternative option to ensure her nutritional needs were met. She would tell me each day about all of the little things that the staff would do for her, simple things that make a big difference in someone's day. Sadly, my mother’s health took a sharp decline (of no fault of the facility). During the eight weeks that my mother was in the hospital/skilled nursing facility the staff at Sunflower Springs continued to care for my mother’s two cats as if they were their own which helped lessen the stress on our family. I write this review in hopes of making your search for an Assisted Living Facility just a little easier. My mother is a retired Registered Nurse as well as myself and my husband, therefore our standards of care are great... with that said, I strongly suggest considering Sunflower Springs at Trinity for yourself or loved one.
