Great place to work for my daughter, Chelsey. Everywhere I go and socialize with people I will run into a family member who has a great comment on the care provided by the staff, especially by Chelsey. She makes a difference with the residents even when she stays after work hours to play games and entertain the residents. Family members are ecstatic with the service provided.

Cedarhurst of breese was ABSOLUTELY amazing for the short time i worked there. From November of last year til, yesterday February 23, they were outstanding. The director Amy was absolutely wonderful, understood I was a single mom and things happen, I was able to leave and take off when needed. Sadly my time came to end with them today by my choice. I would absolutely recommend any to work for Cedarhurst of breese.

What makes this place special is the entire staff in the memory care area and their interaction with the residents. Eric is the Piped Piper. All sleepy eyes open wide when he sings or just talks. Amazing! All the caregivers are awesome. Thank you all.

My mom and dad were residents of Cedarhurst. I am grateful to the staff for the care my parents were given. A huge shout out to Eric Taylor who brought joy and smiles to them everyday thru activities but especially singing. Thanks Eric.

Cedarhurst is a wonderful place. The staff is wonderful and Eric is amazing! He gets all of the residents involved and makes them feel special. He truly cares for each and everyone one of them. I have had a few family members there and all of them loved Eric. Thank you so much Eric for your care and compassion!

Mom recently moved from assisted living to memory care. Before the move all she wanted to do was stay in her room, she did not even want to go out for meals. Now she laughs, she sings,she exercises, she socializes,she is a completely different person. WHY? Because of the Life Enrichment Director, Eric Taylor. i dont know how he does it, but he gets all of the residents moving, motivated and happy. Cedarhurst is very lucky to have Eric as part of their team. i dont want to leave out the rest of the staff, they are all very caring and wonderful people. So reassuring to know that mom is in such great hands.

My mother in law had been in memory care for a while now. The activities are wonderful- she is busy all day long. Eric is simply AMAZING!!! He can always get her out of her Room to participate. He does wonderful things with the residents. Thank you Eric!!

I cant say enough about the staff at Cedarhurst of Breese. During this time of quarantine, they have taken their services up yet another notch and have provided Facetime and Skype as communication options. I was very hesitant on how this would work with my father who is terribly hard of hearing. The staff member who assisted The FaceTime call with my father and myself, did an excellent job. I cannot say how much I appreciate how they continue to do everything possible to assist the residents and their families!

Love this place....absolutely top-notch staff, nurses, activity directors and other facility caregivers. My parents have been living here for several years and we have experienced the caregiving on both Assisted Living Care and Memory Care. To say they go above and beyond is an under-statement. I have witnessed my parents blossom because of the move into this facility. Much credit goes to the amazing Life Enrichment directors Eric and Gina. They are such a huge part in why my parents are truly enjoying their days with all of their extended Cedarhurst family. So glad we chose Cedarhurst of Breese IL! ♥♥♥

For the past two years my aunt, mother-in-law, and father-in-law were residents at Cedarhurst. My in-laws are now deceased, however, my aunt is still a resident. It has been during this time I met Life Enrichment Director Eric Taylor. And I must say, he has made all the difference to the lives of these wonderful people. His dedication and commitment to enrich the lives of all the residents is seen on a daily basis. He truly lights up their eyes and world. He puts a smile on my aunt‘s face the moment he enters the room! Thank you Eric for giving purposes and honor to all of our families. You make each one feel so special.

The Legacy Place promised to accommodate my grandparents increasing needs as my family decided to move them from the assisted living to the memory care side. As the dementia in my grandfather progressed, hallucinations and acting out increased. Suddenly, the Legacy Place said they couldnt provide the higher level of care our family was needing. As my grandpa went to the hospital to seek medical care, my grandma was left alone for a few nights until family from out of town could come in and help. During this time, the staff kept their door closed and unfortunately my grandma fell. The staff couldnt tell us exactly how long she had been laying on the floor until she was found. The Legacy Place that promised us so much failed us, multiple times. They told us they would care for my grandparents throughout the final stages of life. I will never let The Legacy Place care for another family member of mine. They make promises they cannot keep and did not go out of their way to help my grandparents and their increasing needs, due to their dementia.
