I have lived at Sunrise of Shrewsbury for almost three years and am very happy here. The grounds are beautiful as is the facility and both are well-maintained. The professional staff and the care managers are excellent and go out of their way to please each and every resident. The Residential Care Coordinator, Paul Singh, is at the helm of all the needs of the residents and is great at scheduling the individual caregiving tasks of the team of Care Managers, making sure each resident gets the individualized care they need. We have a schedule of activities every day, including weekends, and take excursions outside the facility on a regular basis. Our Activities Director, Heather McLaughlin, is the best at scheduling fun activities and the best holiday parties for the residents and their families. There is a private Dining Room for residents to use with their guests, and the whole building is stocked with reading materials, games, movies, and exercise opportunities. Warm and welcoming environment! Staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Executive Director is always readily available for our questions/comments and makes us feel like family. If you are looking for a fabulous place to send your loved ones, look no further!!

I toured this community for my grandmother and it was so nice the community is beautiful and if it was closer to my location i would definitely have her live there. The sales team went above and beyond to make her feel welcomed , so upset this location is just too far from me:(

I can't say enough good things about this team. I recently helped a client move in to Sunrise of Shrewsbury and the transition was not an easy one, especially coming from an acute rehab following a fall & shoulder fracture. My client required a LOT of extra TLC and hand holding. Not only did the team pull the move together VERY quickly (thank you Victoria & Nilia!!), but they went above and beyond to ensure she felt welcomed and at home. Heather (Activities & Volunteer Coordinator) has made sure she's stayed engaged and entertained, pairing her up with other residents and helping her to quickly make friends. Melon (Executive Director) has been on top of any and all concerns. The Wellness & PT teams have been excellent (especially occupational therapist Colleen, she adores her!) and on top of everything, addressing medication issues/changes promptly and making my client feel safe. The care team, however, are the true MVPs - in the first few days, as she was settling in and learning a new routine, my client called for assistance constantly. They responded promptly and were always patient, kind, and empathetic. Paul, who oversees the care managers as the Assisted Living Coordinator, has been a godsend. I've reached out to him day and night for frequent updates and he's been not only available, but responsive, proactive, and (like his team) patient. He's addressed concerns IMMEDIATELY, even on his days off. Just a week in, my client has made a complete 180 - a true testament to Sunrise of Shrewsbury and their incredible team. I'm so thankful to partner with such an amazing community!

It's a complex process finding the right place for your loved ones and parents as they age. Do we hire someone to come in to mom's home to care for her or do we select the best place to care for her that is "just like home?" Sunrise of Shrewsbury is that place...."Just Like Home!" Mom is enjoying the daily social interaction and making new friends! Every person we interacted with from medical staff, housekeeping, dining, therapists, and Director of Sales, the process and experience was and continues to be, amazing! Every staff member was kind, empathetic, professional and, above all, they genuinely care. Sunny, Director of Sales, was our first point of contact; her professionalism, kindness, and friendly nature, made this transition less traumatic for our family and for Mom. This decision is one of the most difficult decisions to make in life....the personnel at Sunrise of Shrewsbury helped us realize this was the best place, home, for Mom. We are eternally grateful to everyone at Sunrise of Shrewsbury!

I just knew when we walked in and went on our tour with Sunny this was going to be the place for our mother 🙂 all of the stuff are so helpful and friendly. The building is very clean and always decorated perfectly for seasons and holidays events. The nursing staff is always there for us and very helpful.

I am one of seven children, and my experience choosing Sunrise Assisted Living and Memory Care for my 91-year-old Mother's new home, has been wonderful! The decision to consider Assisted Living was difficult. But, when I walked in Sunrise in Shrewsbury, I immediately felt confident that this would not only be the right move, but the right place for our mother to call home. Not too big, and not too small, Sunrise Shrewsbury is beautiful with thoughtful design and utilization for its residents, their visiting families and friends, and of course the amazing staff. Sunny Burrough, The Director at Sunrise, welcomed all of us to this wonderful community, both in person, and by phone for those of us out of state. She answered a multitude of questions, provided tours, and navigated the process from contract to move-in professionally, efficiently, and always with a smile. Did I mention my mother’s move-in was in December? What a joyful experience for all her senses! The Holiday decorations, scents from the delicious baked desserts made by residents in the Baking Club, and the additional activities and planned events, Sunrise offers my mother much needed social engagement with her peers. Having Physical Therapy, and other ancillary medical services on-site will offer my mother the opportunity to gain more physical endurance as she engages with her peers, staff, and her visiting family and friends in her new home. My family has just grown even larger!

Sometimes people tell you when things seem to good to be true that is usually the case.. Well it is not the case with this place. I fell in love with the place after getting a tour & meeting with Sunny Burrough( Director of Sales)as well as Paul Singh( Resident care Coordinator and Nilia Rivera ( Resident Care Director). Not to discount the rest of the staff either because everyone who works there is AMAZING. They all have such a big heart and work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is happy no matter what happens. It feels like an elegant hotel but has all the warmth, charm and coziness of a home.. I can only hope that I will live in a place like this someday. My mom loves it too and they keep her so busy .I’m really just so grateful for the entire staff because I can finally have peace of mind that my mom is happy but is also so proud of her new home.

My mom is 98 and has been at Sunrise of Shrewsbury since it opened almost 2 years ago. It was a difficult to get her to move to an assisted living. The staff has provided her a loving environment and fantastic care so much so that she calls Sunrise home. Now that Covid restrictions have lifted we have enjoyed our 1st Grandparent picnic. They also have authentic Octoberfest, watch Opera's, bring in musicians and other special activities. It really keeps my Mom engaged. She loves it!

Wow !! Cant believe its going on 2 years that we brought our Mom to Sunrise of Shrewsbury. This was the toughest decision in our life to make,' that it was the time to make decisions for Mom, that she and we were at this point in our lives. But the decision on placing her in the loving care of Sunrise of Shrewsbury is by far the best place she can possibly be. Every day in Moms life here is like a vacation, tons of activities, fun, food etc. From the moment you walk in your feel the great energy from the desk and greeted by Cami, Ellen, Rose , Diane, or Kim. Sunrise of Shrewsbury is teamed with the greatest professionals of the industry Headed by Nicole Dandrea Executive Director, Paul Singh Resident Care Coordinator, Nilla Rivera Resident Care Director, Racquel Williams business Office Coordinator, Tammy Palermo Sales Director, Heather McLaughin Activities Director, Luisa Velasques and Michelle Vuong Lead Care Managers and Donna who oversees the Beauty Salon a weekly stop for Mom. As well as so many more. Every single one of these people are there to help your loved one. I sleep at night so good knowing Mom is safe , and sound and every one of her needs is met. We recently moved our Mom to the Memory Care Floor of Sunrise at Shrewsbury after several absolutely devastating weeks at a local Long Term Care Facility. From the start, the entire staff has been optimistic, energetic, helpful and has thought of every detail even we her children have overlooked. The staff has proven to be adept at managing Moms sometimes challenging days while at the same time has provided her with individual attention to her as a person and has brought a smile we have not seen in ages. Everyone has been so accommodating, visiting with mom is a pleasure and we are all sleeping better at night knowing Mom is safe. If you are looking for Assisted living facilities, This place should be first on your list.

Our Mother lived at Sunrise of Lincroft for 4 years and now we are moving our Aunt to the Shrewsbury location. Sunrise is absolutely the best option. We know because we tried a local alternative.
